I had a personal pizza and breadsticks from Pizza Hut yesterday for lunch. :::hangs my head in shame::: Same with my first pregnancy, all I want is carbs and cheese!
Fries must be a thing! I've been wanting lots off fries. I'm also dying for some of the little Caesars Italian cheese bread.my goal is to have at least one piece of fruit per day never mind the veggies. I'm pretty sure that only happened twice last week. I've also been drinking way more Diet Coke than I should be...
Got my free "rain check" burrito bowl from Chipotle! I say yes to almost everything so I get a nice giant bowl. And I ate the whole thing for lunch and it was awesome!
I ate salad for lunch so I don't feel so bad about the Godiva truffles I just stuffed in my mouth and the chipotle burrito bowl I just made DH get me for dinner. I've actually lost weight so far and the only thing I've been able to eat is bagels and cheese and bread. I'm actually hungry today for real food so I'm enjoying it!
It's my coworker's birthday and we normally do cake, but she is on a low carb diet and requested we do Jamba Juices instead. I decided to keep my mouth shut about the fact that Jamba Juices all have like 50g of sugar in them (even the "green" ones), and just go with the flow. So I ordered a Pomegranate Paradise and it is delicious. Never mind the 12 teaspoons of sugar, there's Vitamin C in there. And antioxidants.
My husband had a long day at work and before he even got the chance to get home and rest he went to the store and got me some whole milk and a box of cinnamon toast crunch cereal. I was so excited lol
After reading this thread last week I've had to have pizza, Cheerios, and chicken pad Thai. Normally don't have cravings but can't resist when something sounds good
I only want to eat pepperoni pizza, and I am having it at least once a week. But I'm still having a bit of nausea, so if pepperoni pizza is the only thing that sounds good, then that's what I'm eating.
I bought a family sized bag of chips the other day. Apparently I am now family sized.... Ate the whole thing, didn't even realize I'd done it until I reached in to the bowl and it was gone.
@Curls919I totally feel you on the carbs and cheese.
So far our Little Spirit likes simple carbs, non-overly-sweet things (Mochi, however, baby loves), fruit bars, sprite, and string cheese. Bread/crackers and cheese have been a staple for me since pregnancy began. If I eat something that baby doesn't like, it doesn't end well. Veggies are typically a no-go, and chicken broth is pukeworthy. Too much water does the same. Ugh. I think I am up for "unhealthiest on the message board," here.
Anyone else have some days they can eat almost anything, but other days can barely eat a bite?
DH is working late so I'm on my own for dinner. I've got everything I need in the fridge to make a sensible dinner of leftover chicken, rice, and a green salad. So what do I do? Order a pizza. A whole Papa John's pizza just for meeeeee. Well, me and LO, so that's not so bad!
They had pizza at work yesterday. I ate 5 pieces. I made myself eat some snap peas first though. And there were veggies on the pizza, so it was basically a salad.
In Dallas we have this place called Tiff's Treats. They delivered two HUGE boxes to my office today. Let's guess how many cookies and brownies I'm going to eat!! Count is at one so far and that was consumed with breakfast.
Rainbow sherbert is kinda like fruit right? If that's the case I've eaten tons of "fruit" over the past few days! Also apple pie with vanilla ice cream. That's a serving of fruit and dairy. Also has calcium. That's a win.
I made tater tots for dinner tonight for DS just so I could have some. He also had Mac and cheese for lunch which basically means he had 2 bites of Mac and cheese and I ate the rest.
Past few days have been wicked for morning sickness. This means I have been mostly eating basic carbs. I wonder if my child will have a vitamin deficiency if this is all that sounds good/I can keep down...
I got the weirdest craving for cucumber and cream cheese finger sandwiches (with the crusts cut off), which my mom used to make me for "tea parties" when I was a little kid. I probably hadn't had one since. Until last night when it seemed like the greatest idea ever. This has got to be related to some kind of pregnancy-related mommy issues or something.
@Snaps816 I can totally relate. I crave peanut butter and raspberry jelly rolled up in a tortilla that has been slightly warmed. My mom used to make them for me when I was little. The only time I eat them is when I'm pregnant.

I've been watching Dexter and when Lundy has a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich I always want one. I have yet to try it. Is it good?

I think it's pretty good! It's not very exciting at all, but good.

There are now 4 boxes of various flavors of Toaster Strudel in the freezer. I cannot wait to get home and have some for a snack!
Edited to add that yesterday afternoon/evening was the best I've felt in weeks! Perhaps pizza is the answer!
Also salt and vinegar chips and orange juice. Together. Huh, what??
