How many weeks today? 15

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? avocado, pear, navel orange

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I really wish that I had a cute bump like the ladies on the HDBD post instead of just looking fatter! Also, really wanting to feel some baby flutters, but I know I probably have a couple more weeks. My cousin said one of her co-workers has an anterior placenta and even at 20+ weeks, she hasn't felt a thing. I would be freaking out! (All scans show her baby is fine, but I know I wouldn't be able to turn off the crazy).

Questions? Anyone else starting to have trouble sleeping/getting comfy?

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun?
I'm pretty sure that DH is getting me the Snoogle pillow, so hopefully that will help with the sleeping! I'm getting him a small inexpensive record player, since he has been wanting one. Hope he also gets me some chocolate!

@cait5413 I had an anterior placenta with my last pregnancy and I still felt the baby around the same time I did with my other 2 it just was not as strong.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? They are the size of plums!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Pregnancy symptoms for the most part of pretty good, this dang sinus infection though is kicking my butt!

Questions? I'm trying to decide how to tell a few close friends that live farther away. Is it rude to tell them via a picture text? My one friend who I told yesterday at lunch said she would of been pissed if I hadn't told her in person.

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? Pretty sure vday is the last thing on SOs mind. He usually gets me tulips, Which is random because tulips are one of my least favorite flowers. I bought a picture frame to put our ultrasound in, a card, and am making dinner in my sexy lingerie apron (while I can still fit in it)

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Thrilled that our Harmony test results came back with great results and am finally ready to start sharing that we are expecting baby #2! Still not 100%, from about noon on I am incredibly nauseous still. Bedtime is still by 8:30. Really hoping to be able to get back to working out (more than just walking) soon!

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? He's getting gloves, because he has lost every pair this year. But I'm not expecting anything. We are doing an early bird special dinner at a fun restaurant with great steaks on Saturday while the grandparents are in town, because we decided yesterday that's what we wanted to do. The wait between the Harmony test blood draw and finding out results put us in limbo for anything else!

@tmk0325 I think you should tell them however YOU want to. It is your pregnancy and it's not always possible to do it in person or even over the phone. I had to tell a good friend through email yesterday with an ultrasound picture because we both have toddlers, she is pregnant with #2 as well and I can't stay up late enough past my kid's bedtime to call anyone right now. Do what works for you!

How many weeks today? 12 - last week of the 1st trimester

yay!!!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Toy Solider. Other apps have also said apricot, lime and plum

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Starting to feel better but still have a ways to go. This morning a smell in the fridge made me puke... ughhhhh

Questions? This is soooo early to ask but I can't help but think of summer. Thoughts on swim suits this summer? At first I was like I'll still rock a bikini but now I am starting to feel weird about it. I'll have to wait and see how I feel at the time, but curious if others are thinking of still wearing bikinis?

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? I requested white chocolate covered strawberries.... so fingers crossed! Typically we don't do anything to celebrate... but I would like to do something nice for H as he has been so great lately (and can see he's trying hard to hide his frustrations). Any material gift he wants its a few hundred dollars.... XBOX, Hockey equipment... Or me in sexy lingerie, which sounds easy but I am just not really up for that...

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Heartburn! I feel like I can't eat anything after 5pm. At first, it was just spicy food but now it feels like everything.

It is going to be 10 degrees in Boston so we are opting to celebrate on our day off on Monday. We are going to go out in the city for lunch with our daughter. Should be fun!

I told some of my friends by texting the ultrasound pic. With one friend, I called her, and then while she was on the phone, I sent the pic and told her I wanted to show her something, so I got the reaction when she saw it rather than just over text. Good friends will just be excited for you, not be mad about how you told them!

@tmk0325 my high school and college friends are all over the country so it's just not feasible to tell them in person. I just didn't want them to find out from IG or Facebook. So I sent texts to all of them, no big deal.

We're not big gift people but I told H my gift to him will being his DD home from the concert. He seemed to appreciate it!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Dill pickle

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Boobs are on fire. I am still peeing quite frequently. I'm feeling slight flutters and there's also an increasing amount of pressure I feel in my lower abdomen (not painful like cramps but slight discomfort).

Questions? Where do I get maternity work clothes?! Options seem limited.

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? I just want to cuddle with DH and stay in. It's freezing outside. Low key vday sounds so good to me now more than ever! A nice candlelit homemade dinner then hours of snuggles.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? according to TB, baby is the size of a lemon, but that makes no sense because last week was a peach and peaches are definitely bigger than lemons....whatev

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I've been feeling a lot of pressure the past couple days. While my pants still fit, they're getting kind of uncomfortable just because they're pushing in the wrong places. I think I might retire to my maternity pants full time starting next week. Also, I'll be in Vegas all next week for work....shoot me. Vegas and no alcohol - not cool, dude! On a happy note, I've been feeling flutters once or twice almost everyday, so that's super fun! I also have been able to hear baby on my doppler. The doppler doesn't realize it's picking up baby because it's not taking a reading, but I'm able to hear my hb and baby's much quicker hb underneath, so I know I've got it!

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? nothing crazy - we're going out to dinner on Saturday night since I fly out on Sunday night. I asked for a crepe pan, lol, yup. I actually got DD a few things, and I got DH a heart full of kitkats because they're his favorite, but that's it - we don't usually do anything outlandish.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I'm starting to be able to eat normally again instead of just bagels and grilled cheese for every meal which is wonderful. I'm still exhausted and want to go to bed at 8pm every night though. Today I've been feeling a little self conscious at work because I feel like you can see a baby bump/blump with the outfit I picked out to wear and I haven't told my co-workers yet.
Oh, and DH is coming with me for the 12 week NT ultrasound tomorrow so I am excited/nervous!

GTKY: What are you hoping for as a gift for V-Day and/or are you getting DH anything fun? We usually just get each other chocolate and the usual valentines day stuff. DH also usually cooks me dinner but since we are going to my parents house this weekend to announce to the rest of our family, we might go out to dinner. DH made really cute valentines day picture announcement cards that we plan on giving out so I am excited for that!

Totally gonna rock that bikini! I think I might actually be more comfortable in one than I usually am because I'm pregnant and of course my stomach is going to be big!
