Re: TTT!

  • 1. I failed my 1 hr... my 3 hr is on Thursday.
    2. Positive to that is I took the entire day off work.
    3. My stress level is through the roof.
    4. So is my anxiety and I worry about everything from this pregnancy, to my SO, to work, etc.
    5. I cry now... a lot.
    6. These are all super depressing but I can't help it.. comes with my crappy current mood.
    7. I wish May and summer would get here already.
    8. Missing my family.
    9. I need to start dieting and getting my butt up for exercise to feel and look better.
    10. My SO is gone til Friday night and I'm depressed already.

  • @Kurrant don't feel bad! Sometimes the attachment doesn't kick on until after birth. One of my coworkers who is a great mom didn't have a strong attachment until her son was a couple weeks old.

@kp90 hugs, lady. Just focus on being healthy and getting enough nutrients and rest. It can get overwhelming as you round the corner into the third tri, but you can do this!
  • 1. I got fired yesterday. Who fires a pregnant women?!
    2. My former boss is a vicious liar and they have proof of that and they still fired me.
    3. I'm so worried. I was only still there for the insurance. I'll be trying to get medicaid for pregnant women. Getting on my husband's insurance would be crippling I'm sure.
    4. My Co workers are cool.  they have all called to check on me and commiserate on how awful my boss is.
    5. A friend gave me hope that she will soon be fired as well. My sis says I should get a lawyer. Maybe I can help that along.
    6. I was unhappy with my job anyway, so thats a silver lining.
    7. No clue what I want to do now and the belly isn't going to help find a new job.
    8. We need my paycheck, and laying about is not as fun as you think.
    9. I want cake. I ate oreos instead.
    10. I'm going to cry tonight I think.
  • 1.  This is my late lunch break.  I've been so swamped all day, which means speed-bumping right now.  This is good for my productivity!

    2.  I had way too much sugar over the weekend.  Dang you Super Bowl.

    3.  I'm sorry some of you are having crappy weeks. :frowning:

    4. @jenly17 I will second Wayfair for less expensive furniture.  I purchased a couch for $500 on Wayfair that would have easily cost me $1000 at any furniture store in town.

    5.  I'm anxiously awaiting our new carpet so I can get going on our nursery.

    6. @TXmamatobe I don't like that much from Carters either.  I've already received a few ugly clothing items from my MIL.  I feel ungrateful for not liking them, but I can't help it.  I did actually buy a couple things yesterday from the sale though:

    7. I have some cabinets in my office that need organizing badly.  I need to do this ASAP.  I'm so terrified if I would go into labor early and being worried about someone digging through my somewhat messy office.

    8. I need my hair colored so badly.  Feb. 27th can't come soon enough.

    9. I'm excited for the return on How to Get Away with Murder and Scandal on Thursday.  I've been watching enough TV lately though.  I'm excited to watch the Bachelor tonight (I watch a day late on Hulu).  I'm pretty sure Olivia gets the boot today?  Bye Felicia!

    10.  I'm excited for a long weekend!  Thanks Presidents' Day!
  • 1. Hopefully I remember to put in for maternity leave this week. I've been putting that off forever.
    2. Might try to get the 1-hr glucose test done tomorrow. It's either this week or next week, but I feel like I might as well just get it over with. Besides, then I can join the cool kids and post in the glucose results thread.
    3. Conference call with the judge and defense counsel on one of my attempted murder cases today was surprisingly not-painful. Hooray for that, I guess.
    4. I forgot how dumb that attempted murder was. The defendant, his brother, and their buddy fired upwards of 30 to 40 shots at the victim (a rival drug dealer) and hit him once, with their very last bullet, knocking out all his teeth. The victim was otherwise unharmed.
    5. I should probably buy a second pair of maternity pants at some point.
    6. I think my face is actually getting puffy from all this weight gain. I do not like it. I do not like it at all.
    7. I'm alternately excited about and dreading hitting the third trimester next week. I just want this to be over and at the same time I am not ready for my entire life to blow up.
    8. I'm still not attached to the futurebaby either. At this point I'm just expecting nothing to happen on that front until it's actually born, and maybe not for a couple of weeks after that.
    9. I hope my husband's more attached to it though. I would be sad if he were as apathetic as I feel.
    10. Ten things down and ten minutes until I can go home, whee.

    1. Yesterday was my last cervical length US!  My cervix has not shortened, and the MFM doctor said that I can follow with only my OB group and use MFM as needed!
    2. However, I was so crampy last night and this morning that I called my OB and ended up going into triage to get checked out.  I spent about 3 hrs there, maybe half of that with the baby on the monitor - love those heart beats! All is well now and I am home.
    3. At yesterday's US, the tech gave me some great pics of LO yawning!  (or maybe swallowing amniotic fluid)  Such amazing pictures!
    4. My MIL to the rescue today to watch the twins so I could go to triage and not drag DH out of work!
    5. Any ideas of how I can take it easy at home with 2 almost 2yr olds?
    6. I've got breakfast and lunch covered.  Who wants to make dinner - every night?
    7. DH and I have a date night this weekend!
    8. Time to sleep!
