Hello everyone. It's good to hear things are moving, albeit slowly, for some of us.
@fireinwonderland, I know what you mean, sometimes I feel like when people know that you have had multiple losses they treat you differently. One of my bffs (not married) kept asking me what I did wrong! I was like, if I knew I wouldn't have done it! It hurt....
@kayham12, my second loss was due to Turners. Glad your DD was a healthy Turners baby . Are they testing your angel's tissue?
2. Status: Still TTCAL, Third cycle post mc. Temping and WTO. CD11, so we have been doing the BD over the past couple of days, will continue EOD through peak.
3. Rant: this is not pregnancy/Ttgp related. A coworker, who has gained 20-30 lbs since I have met her said she wants to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks (in time to see her ex at a friends party). She has been so unhealthy and eats poorly. After letting her know that losing weigh is a long distance race, not a sprint, I decided to give her some pointers. She got so angry and annoyed. She didn't want people telling her what to eat/do. I hate when people say they have this great goal and then don't do anything about it! Grrrr...probably should not care this much lol
4. I love snow! We have had a good amount of it lately. I like it when they close everything (work/school) and we can stay home and watch it fall with a cup of hot cocoa under a blanket.
5. I grew up in South America, moved to Texas during high school and college, then Cali and then NY. It's hard to tell which one is my hometown, I live in the first two for about the same amount of time. I miss the delicious food and amazing produce from Peru, and of course the scenery and landscapes. Texas has most of our families and friends, so we miss them dearly. Every place has its perks, I am enjoying the winters and falls in NY for now.

@megsbrock I am so in love with the Newfoundland accent. It's fascinating from linguistically speaking, as well! My grandma is from Nova Scotia and I feel a very strong connection to the Maritimes. We may end up retiring there.
@Lizzie5831 I am livid! I mean, I know when I'm being infantalized by jackasses and the world at large, but this was so egregious that I still can't quite believe it happened. People don't usually mess with me because I am nothing if not formidable but I am wearing all my weakness on the outside since losing our baby two weeks and one day ago.

3. Rants/raves: Super excited that it's snowing today and I'm able to work from home! It's calm and beautiful. However, DH and I went to a church we've been to a few times on Sunday and near the end of the service the pastor was giving announcements, and one of them was more help for the nursery during services. He started talking about the abundance of new babies in our church and how they need help during services rocking babies and how wonderful a sensation that is and kept going on and on and on about it... needless to say I lost it and spent the rest of the service crying my head off and still couldn't stop crying for a while afterwards. Blah. I'd been doing much better since the holidays, I guess it was just time for a good cry!
4.
GTKY: Where did you grow up? What is something you love about your
hometown? Like @FireInWonderland I grew up outside of Pittsburgh. My dad's family was originally from Punxsutawney, PA, so Groundhog Day is a big holiday in my family! (No seriously... I make cookies yearly and everything).
@silentPzrain I hear
you both with the pregnancy announcements.
chloe97 I’m
more in the drink til it’s pink camp. I’m
not a big drinker in the first place, but while TTC I tend to be more lenient
about it during AF until I ovulate, and less lenient until AF shows up again. I'm going to have to read that CDC warning, since I must have missed it when it came out!

@klauerinaking we aren't. I didn't know to save the tissue. I was scheduled for a D&C when I mis carried naturally at home about 36 hours before my surgery was scheduled. My doctor was pretty insensitive when talking to us about our children. One with TS and one miscarriage likely caused by chromosome abnormalities, in her opinion meant we either have "bad luck" or one of us isn't passing the X chromosome correctly. I'm not sure I want to know if one of us isn't passing the X correctly. I feel like it would put a lot of stress on our marriage. I will gladly take another TS girl if I'm fortunate enough to have a rainbow baby.
@Zrain glad your FB post went over well. I have been thinking about posting something for some time now. I am getting a tattoo on Thursday so maybe now is the time. I can post a pic of my tattoo along with a message.
@chloe97 Hopefully there is no genetic link for the breast cancer in your family. My grandma had it twice (2 different kinds) and now my aunt does. My grandma didn't want to get the testing done but my aunt did. Turns out it is not genetic for my family. Also I don't really drink much anyway. but I try not to during the TWW, maybe a one drink here or there.
2. TWW CD17-4DPO - 3 cycle TTCAL
3. I really hope this is our cycle.
4. I am born and raised in Green Bay, WI. I still live there. I think the most notable thing about my city is the Green Bay Packers. The stadium is right there. It's easy to go to a game. Its a super fun atmosphere.
1. WTO. CD14 with no O in sight. First cycle TTCAL.
2. My body faked me out on Sunday with a little EWCM, but then nothing since. I usually get 2-3 days of a lot of CM before O, so this is unusual. I'm getting antsy, mostly because H and I are not usually EOD people, so I don't want to start with EOD too soon. OPKs are also still very much negative. I know it's still early and I'm being impatient... But I just want to get the show on the road!
3. I grew up in a small town in PA. The area was pretty, but the people were horrible and closed minded. I'm glad I moved away.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) TWW - 3 DPO after a very "successful" FW
3. Rants/raves: my 3 closest friends are all pregnant.... my best friend in the whole world got pregnant while having an affair.
4. GTKY: Where did you grow up? What is something you love about your hometown? I grew up in Mission, BC and now live in Ponoka, AB. I love both as they are both small towns, but I miss the lush green of the West Coast!
@AL_TwinCities Glad to hear bench time is almost over. Such a good feeling.
@FireInWonderland Sending Internet hugs, sorry friends and family aren't stepping up for you.
@reneeannem Shocked by your story. As a health care worker this shocks and disgusts me.
@NamelessAria Totally feel you on the BSC. Hoping to calm it down this cycle.
1. TWW, 3DPO cycle 2 TTCAL. Hoping for super bowl-ish baby.
2. First cycle temping, and despite multiple restless nights of sleep still saw a shift. Confirmed my horrendous excruciating O pain coincides with actual O day. (Yay?) But stupid BBT display broke within a week of use! Luckily it still takes a temp and if I jam on the display with my fingernail at the right angle, the number is visible. Feeling hopeful this cycle...timing was pretty good overall. Hoping to avoid the BSC this cycle during TWW and I refuse to stock up on tests this time around. I feel like if they are around, I'm just compelled to POAS all the time and set myself up for disappointment. Going to wait for (hopefully) late AF.
3. Nice to see fellow PA people here. I'm from NW PA. Lots of snow, but beautiful summers. Never left the area...it's a nice place to raise a family.
@FireInWonderland That cracks me up! DH's birthday is in April and there's always been a 50/50 snow rate for that day. Today we got dumped with at least six inches with no end in sight.
1. Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm new because I just found out I was miscarrying yesterday. I was supposed to be 5 weeks yesterday with my first pregnancy, now my first loss. I went to my OB and they did an US, of course it was too early to see anything so they did blood work. My hCG was only 5
2. Status - CD 3 just hoping I don't bleed for a long time. I want to get right back into it.
3. Rants/raves - I feel awful for feeling this way but I know you ladies understand this feeling; it's not fair. We had just gotten excited about it. And it's been hard TTC because DH is a LEO working nights.
4. GTKY: Where did you grow up? What is something you love about your hometown?
I grew up in a suburb of Grand Rapids Michigan. I loved it because there was always something to do or go see and we were only 20 minutes from downtown. I loved all of the opportunities I got to experience growing up.
Hello, I am migrating from the MC board as it seems we now have a plan for TTC in the next 6-8 weeks.
Intro: Married since May 2009. Absolutely adore my husband - we are incredibly
lucky in love, not in fertility. We have had five losses. I am 37 and husband is 32.
First m/c in March 2013 (7w), second in August 2013 (7w2d), third in
April 2014 (9w), CP in January 2015 and most recent m/c
November 2015 (7w3d).
In December DH happened to meet (the only) RPL specialist in our town who had previously
not been willing to see us (he is retiring and didn't want new patients,
my ob was "consulting" with him instead) and the doc offered us an
appointment.
After working with him since mid-December, I now know that I have diminished reserve, an issue with my reproductive immunology and in recent CD 12 u/s showed to have an oblong follicle.
Status: Benched. For now our plan is to TTC on our own one more time with the RE's intervention. (If unsuccessful, we will likely move to DE IVF.) I am taking Vitamin E, prenatal, Ultra Cal Night and recently started Trental and Dexamethasone. Husband is on a multi-vitamin and zinc. We will do this for 2 months and then after another pre-ovulation u/s, Doc will advise us whether to try again (will depend on appearance of follicle).
Rants/raves: I am having a really hard time this month. I know part of it is the fact that it will be three years next week since I first told DH we were pregnant for the first time. Also that we are close to trying again - it's nerve wracking.
GTKY: I grew up in a small town in NW Georgia; it's beautiful, but far too small for me.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Me: 40, DH: 35 / Married: 2009; TTC #1: 2013

Welcome to the new ladies and I'm so sorry for all of your losses and that you have need to be here. @fivetimesnoluck ; @becbec28 ; @kayham12 ; @mrt and anyone I missed.

@Wishilivedinflorida I wish I lived almost anywhere other than a desert. I say almost because I don't want to live in the middle of nowhere, either. Haha. It snowed 8" here and everything shut down, even though it was melted by the afternoon. Hahaha.
1. Not new here, but needed to take a mental break from talking about babies for a while. I am a SAHM of a 20 month old boy. We started TTC when he was 8 months old. BFP in May, lost that baby in June. Another BFP in August, and lost in September. Took a long time for AF to return after second loss (10.5 weeks). Three cycles in this time around.
2. Ovulated a week ago, so am hopeful, but normally feel some symptoms by now. We'll see.
3. No real rants or raves but we've been able to spend a lot of time with family recently..them visiting us and us visiting them. It's been nice because we live so far away from everyone.
4. I moved a few times as a kid, but always consider where I was born, Wexford, Ireland, my home town. I loved how it was on the coast and wished I lived closer to the sea now (western NY)!
Our Journey: DS born 05/14 Losses 06/15, 09/15, 02/16
1. I'm 37 and my fiance is 32. (Oh hi @fivetimesnoluck what a coinkydink!) We had been NTNP since 1/15 when I went off the pill, but due to our schedules, timing has never been easy for us. He's got the 9-5, but has a second and third job that gets him home around 10 most nights. I now work a dispatch shift starting at 5am, so I'm usually in bed by 8. Finally conceived Dec 24th and got the BFP 18 dpo. Found out I had my CP/MMC on 2/1. Just got my most recent beta level results this morning and I'm down to 13 so doc said to wait one cycle to rebuild my lining and then ok to try again.
2. Status: Benched for this cycle, but fiance and I are anxious to try again asap.
3. Rant: We had just been planning our wedding for 9/10 when I found out I was pregnant with an EDD of 9/21. Luckily no deposits had been placed as yet so we cancelled all plans of a big wedding since there was no way I was going to walk down that aisle 9 months pregnant with the possibility of water breaking at the altar. Now since the MMC, we don't even have that to look forward to. Rave: I'm super lucky that everyone we had leaked the good news to has been super sensitive and caring in their comments when we've told them the bad news, and my fiance has been the world for me with all the encouragement and love that I could ask for. So sorry to those of you suffering from friends with footinmouth disease, particularly @FireInWonderland@AL_TwinCities@Aera11
4. Was born in Milwaukee, WI and mostly remember long snow filled winters, the smell of the breweries downtown and The Great Circus Parade, a big annual event there. Since I now live in the Northeast I couldn't imagine going back to the flat openness of the Midwest. Now just 90 minutes from NYC in the gorgeous Hudson Valley and I love it! Hey @silentP is that at all close to where you grew up?
And I just want to say to you all that if I have to be traveling down this path, I am glad to have beautiful, warm, strong women like you to walk down it with. Hugs to all!
Wellllll, crap. I just got an email from the daycare wait list we got on before my MC telling me all about the wonderful upcoming events for families. FML. Not what I needed at the end of what's going to be a 60-70 hour work week while also in FW. Can I go back to sleep now?
@Riversong15 The same thing happened to me this week after I specifically emailed the woman to let her know that I had lost the baby right after I originally heard from her. I'm not sure how it is where you live, but we need to get on waiting lists basically the day after a BFP. I'm not sure I will be able to do it right away after this past experience. No one got back to me until 3-4 weeks later after I had miscarried.

It's the same here. This is our first choice place, and they flat out told us in December that we'd likely only get a spot in July 2017!! And I was due in August 2016! We actually haven't told them about the MC bc we don't want to lose our spot on the waiting list, and they make you pay a hold fee every time you apply for a spot. It was just a really weird email to get, bc it looked like it was supposed to go out to current families, not prospective ones. I can't fault then too much, but I did need a place to vent about how the universe times things....
I'm really slow at responding...I've been hiding a lot this week
@megsbrock Thank you! I did post it and over 100 people commented and sent me private messages with kind words and their own experiences of miscarriage. Some of them I haven't talked to in over a decade, people from high school I wasn't even friends with, and a middle school teacher. It was amazing how much it helped me, my husband, and those who responded who had never told anyone before.
@m6agua How did your tattoo turn out? Will you share a picture with us? I'm planning on getting one for my baby I lost. I stopped by my tattoo place today and they were able to fit me in tomorrow. Usually it takes weeks to get an appointment, but I think they realized it would help me heal to get it as soon as possible. I love my tattoo guy..
@Lizzie5831 Thank you. I ended up miscarrying finally two nights ago. It was difficult to go through but I do feel some relief that I don't have to worry about what to expect anymore
@NamelessAria You at least have more willpower than me...my last cycle(when I got my BFP) I started testing at 7DPO. Talk about BSC... I am going to do my best to not do that any more
@Aquarius923 I'm so so sorry for your losses. I hope you find the support you need here, and I hope your short luteal phase corrects itself!

@Aquarius923 so sorry for both of your losses. I hope you feel welcome here to vent and heal.
@RiverSong15 and @chloe97 ugh! How hard to be getting such in your face reminders. *hugs*
@zrain I really admire your bravery and am so glad you got such an amazing response to your post! Also thankful you don't have to wait any longer and I hope you start healing quickly. Also to you and @m6agua I've been considering getting a small tattoo as well but for some reason I'm more stuck on where to put it than what to get (baby elephant). Curious what your plans are in that respect?
@cooaladoll I'm going to get a little forget-me-not flower that fades away toward the bottom ( @decoycandy I hope it's ok I'm copying you, I absolutely adore your tattoo) and I'm going to get it on my lower abdomen where I felt the contractions when I went through my miscarriage, since that's where my baby spent its entire existence. I know it'll probably stretch and look funny when I do get to experience a full term pregnancy, but I'm 100% ok with that.
Me: 29, DH: 29 Married 9/27/14 TTC #1 since 8/15/15 BFP: 1/2/16, EDD 9/13/16 - MMC 2/10/16 BFP: 3/17, EDD 11/23/16 November 2016 April Siggy Challenge - April Showers
I have a question for you ladies who are active on the TTGP board... Sorry to put this here but I didn't want to make a whole new thread for this. My DH and I have talked a lot and we've decided that part of healing for us is moving forward and having a goal; that is, we decided we want to return to TTC right away and not wait a cycle before trying again (my midwife gave us the go-ahead), plus I need some serious distraction right now and the TTGP board is a great way to stay occupied. I lurked on TTGP for almost 4 months and actively participated for about a month before my BFP. I quietly moved on to my BMB because I wasn't sure I'd been around long enough to announce on the TWW thread. I want to get back to participating there, but I noticed that there's this new Intro thread on TTGP. It says regulars returning after a loss can post their own re-intro thread, and I don't know if I'd count as a regular, but I definitely don't feel like a newbie either. I'm probably way overthinking this, but I just thought I'd check in here and see what you ladies would recommend as far as re-introducing myself on TTGP so I can get back into participating there too.
Me: 29, DH: 29 Married 9/27/14 TTC #1 since 8/15/15 BFP: 1/2/16, EDD 9/13/16 - MMC 2/10/16 BFP: 3/17, EDD 11/23/16 November 2016 April Siggy Challenge - April Showers
@zrain - I think that there is another two variables for whether you should consider yourself a regular - 1 - it depends on how much you posted during that month, I've been on this board for maybe a month or a month and a half and I feel like a regular here - but if I didn't post and chat away as much as I do, then 1-1.5 months wouldn't make me feel like a regular. You mention you were active, so I'd count you as a regular - but I don't have a lot of message board experience - and 2 - do you feel like you are a regular? If you do, I say go for it.
---TW BFP and MC mentioned - scroll down past the Lilo and Stitch gif to avoid ---
2) period almost over. Then to start trying AGAIN 3) I am so sick of trying and trying. It will be 2 years next month. I am sick of seeing everyone else's seemingly healthy pregnancies and getting it right the first time. Every time I feel like I am finally at a good place someone else announces. Pregnant coworkers, pregnant cousin. They're everywhere!! 4) I grew up in a suburb of Orlando (Apopka). My dad still lives in my childhood home. I loved that there was always so much to do, but I hated the traffic! Now I live in a smaller town in south FL with my husband and can just drive a couple hours to Orlando to visit.
Hugs @valleric - I'm so sorry you have been on this journey so long. I'm at 21 months and I can't let myself think about it too much as it is just too sad and depressing. I hope you don't have to be TTC too long and get your rainbow baby soon.

- BFP: 3/10/16 — Baby Girl born 11/20/16
TTC#2 April 20192.
I went to school in Erie, PA and I traveled to Erie/ Edinboro EVERY year for soccer. I loved it up there. It even snowed on my bday in June! Lol.
ETA: Hence my screen name here....haha!
Married: 9/2013
Love my LEO!!

Intro: Married since May 2009. Absolutely adore my husband - we are incredibly lucky in love, not in fertility. We have had five losses. I am 37 and husband is 32. First m/c in March 2013 (7w), second in August 2013 (7w2d), third in April 2014 (9w), CP in January 2015 and most recent m/c November 2015 (7w3d).
In December DH happened to meet (the only) RPL specialist in our town who had previously not been willing to see us (he is retiring and didn't want new patients, my ob was "consulting" with him instead) and the doc offered us an appointment.

Baby #2 due June 12, 2018
Our Journey:
DS born 05/14
Losses 06/15, 09/15, 02/16
So sorry to those of you suffering from friends with footinmouth disease, particularly @FireInWonderland @AL_TwinCities @Aera11
But seriously, I am sorry for your loss. I am very happy for you, though, that you have had the support you need from friends and family.
(I am very sarcastic. Hopefully I won't offend anyone.

2. WTO. I am currently on cd10 after a short 4 day lp. I usually don't o until day 20 so I have a ways to go.
3. Im so upset by 2 only 4 day lp in a row. I'm hoping my body will be back to normal this cycle.
@Penelope4612 Yay for Hawaii vacation!
@mrt I'm not TTC quite yet either, but decided to hang out here anyway since there's a little more going on and I neeeed distraction right now.
@Knottie12904461 It's nice to see another Portland person here!
@kayham12 I hope your appointment went well today
@NamelessAria You at least have more willpower than me...my last cycle(when I got my BFP) I started testing at 7DPO. Talk about BSC... I am going to do my best to not do that any more
@Aquarius923 I'm so so sorry for your losses. I hope you find the support you need here, and I hope your short luteal phase corrects itself!

@fivetimesnoluck you couldn't be more right, tho its funny he's so much more mature than I am. Personally I say snark away all you like dear ;-)

3) I am so sick of trying and trying.
TTC since May 2014.
Aug 2014 BFP, EDD April 22, 2015. Low progesterone, started suppositories. Loss at 5w6d.
Nov 19, 2015 BFP at 13 dpo, EDD July 29, 2016. MMC discovered 12/29 (9+4). Natural miscarriage 1/16 (12+1).
AMH results 0.42, 1.2; FSH 12.1, AFC 10, dx DOR.
RPL testing results normal. Nurse recommended progesterone suppositories in TWW.
