The landlord still hasn't fixed our heater. We've lived here for three weeks now and it's worked 25% of the time. Now he needs some bug part and doesn't know when he'll receive it. I am freezing!!!
Check your renter's agreement and your state laws. We have a rental property and we would never let our tenants be without heat in the winter. That is terrible! You poor thing! Hope it is fixed soon for you!!
Sadly our lease says a broken heater/ac is not considered an emergency. We live near Houston, TX so my idea of cold I know doesn't compare to the rest of the worlds. But still a high of 64 and a low of 34 is really cold to me with no heater especially when the sun goes down. Our landlord clearly doesn't care if it's fixed quickly just as long as it's as cheap as possible.
The doctor that did my u/s today has ZERO bedside manner. I was nervous enough before the only comments he made were "well there is nothing to measure yet." "Over 25% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage" and "better hope for something more next week". Thanks dude! I work in medicine and I know that stats. Couldn't throw in a single optimistic comment like "hey, an intrauterine yolk sac, promising start" to take my blood pressure down for the next week!?!?
