hi all , this could be weird but does anyone know if you can see the mucus plus when looking in a mirror . I swear I can see it quite clearly , unless I'm going mad. I'm 37 weeks .
I'm a FTM, and not a doctor, so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the mucus plug is on/in the cervix. The cervix is up in the end of your vagina.... So unless you're putting a mirror way up in there, I don't see how you could be looking at your mucus plug. Again, not a doctor.
Btw, how can you even see a mirror to look at your vagina with a 37 week belly? I'm also 37 weeks and can barely wipe after I go potty.....

eta because autocorrect has failed me.
This. Lord help me, I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this issue, but I'm 29 weeks and am short...therefore, short arms. I seriously feel like I'm doing yoga trying to wipe after a #2. It's tragically hilarious.
I'm sorry but this makes me LOL. I'm praying it's MUD. If not... unless it's come out and is hanging out of your vagina, I don't see any humanly way possible you could see it. It's up in your cervix just above baby's head.
1. how are you able to see your vagina in the mirror past your belly? 2. how are you spreading your vagina wide enough to see up there far enough you think you're seeing your mucus plug? 3. ...why?
If you're seeing mucus up there, you may want to be swab tested for a yeast infection. They are very common during pregnancy due to the changing hormones, and can cause an infection in the baby during labor.

So that saying that your cervix is not a crystal ball... I stand corrected! In your case it truly is!
Hahah, no..you're not seeing your mucus plug unless you're shoving a speculum up in you. It's probably just discharge. Google mucus plug pics if you want to compare.

If you google the mucus plug pics though please don't feel the need to share with us!
Flame away..while laboring at home I looked and swore up and down I saw the babies head. Being super pregnant caused me to be very irrational and weird. Haha I don't think it's possible to see your plug.
Wait wait wait, based on the spelling, "mucas" rhymes with "Lucas". Could this be the hb sounds like a Logan lady all over again and she changed the name incognito? Or $10 says it's the fingernail lady again. /sigh those were the days...
