Good morning!  I'm feeling kind of down today.  13dpo and started spotting this morning so I'm pretty sure AF will be here by the end of the day.

The good news is that DH's treatment (discontinuing androgel, taking clomid instead) has improved his sperm!  He's now in normal count range (43 million) though motility is still low at 35%.  He goes back to the urologist on Thursday, and we're curious to know if we can expect more improvements or not.  If not, I want to go back to the RE for IUI right away.  Unfortunately by the time we talk to the urologist, I will probably be outside the window for doing a baseline ultrasound and will probably have to wait until the following cycle.

QOTW: My nervous habit is chewing my fingernails.  I've gotten better with it over the last couple years, but occasionally when I'm really anxious I still do it.

Bonus Question: here are my two little smiley girls!!!

    Good morning and Happy Monday!

It's CD1 for me :'(   I'm calling my RE's office this afternoon and scheduling my baseline u/s, then I'll be starting Letrozole in a few days.

QOTW: Do you have a habit that you want to break?  Bonus question: time for an update on all pets/furbabies!
I always bite the tip of my tongue on purpose.  It started out as a nervous/anxious thing but turned into a habit.

Here are my furbabies :) My 13.5 year old cat Reagan Sue and my 7.5 year old English Bulldog, Watson. We bought them new blankies for Christmas and they were clearly enjoying them.

CD26 today. It's been a bad week of arguing with the hubby. over stupid little things.

But I've been putting a real effort into exercising and eating better and I do have to admit that I feel a whole lot better and have been steadily loosing weight. (mini celebration- woo!)

I feel like we are in limbo TCC wise. Waiting for appointments....

@wifeinraleigh28 I'm so happy that your DH's count went up and I hope you can expect more improvement!

QOTW: My habit that I wish to break is the late night snacking. There is just something about watching a good TV show, being snuggled up on the couch that makes me think...."I could really go for some nachos right now..."

Bonus Question: Here is my Bentley Boy. He will be 5 this year. We make maple syrup every year and he gets to be my co-pilot in the tractor every day when we go and collect the sap. He hates it. (My DH is on the ground collecting and Bentley would rather be out with him.) But we go up a road people like to speed on so its for his own safety.

CD 28 today.  Still have yet to ovulate...  Its not really surprising, but every day it doesn't happen I get more and more anxious about whether this will be another anovulatory cycle or a short luteal cycle.

Definitely in limbo at this point as I wait to have my ultrasound (Feb 23rd was the closest I could get in), which I need to have done before I see the specialist.  And DH is waiting to get his SA results back.

QOTW - What is your nervous habit?  I eat.  Preferably something crunchy and unhealthy.

Our fur baby is a 3 year old part maine coon cat.  He has such a personality and always keeps us entertained.  My internet is immensely slow today and can't upload a pic... Grrr!

    Good Morning!

Today is 12dpiui and I caved and got a BFN this morning. I realize that it is still early and there is still hope, but I'm feeling kinda out of the game for this month. I go in on Wednesday for my beta.

Last week I decided to have a talk with my RE to see where to go from here since this was my 4th medicated cycle and 4th IUI. It was decided that we do one more letrozole IUI cycle and then move on to IVF. At first I was overwhelmed by just hearing IVF, but if it means getting pregnant sooner then I'm all for it!

QOTW: Mine is definitely mindless snacking

@Plainjanie we have a Bentley too! He is 5 years old too (6 in May)

Af arrived today so after chatting with my RE this morning, She is adding estrace for me to take this cycle. My lining has been okay around 7....so RE thinks thickening it up some could be the key!!
I worry way too much....esp about things out of my control....trying to break my worry wart ways....lol

I just got the morphology results emailed to me from the SA on the 28th... it says 4.5% normal.  The lab tech wrote down "normal" as the evaluation result, but the chart says > 5% is considered normal and < 4% is abnormal.  So I guess we're smack dab in the middle or normal and abnormal?  Another statistic for me to obsess over now :(

Hi, ladies! 4 DPIUI and 3 DPO per FF. Still staying hopeful that this will be our lucky cycle since my lining was good and his SA results weren't too terrible. Started progesterone on Sunday...those are fun... We're going out of town this weekend to visit friends so I'm debating what I'll do about the suppositories. I'm thinking I'll just put the two in a baggie and keep it in a cooler or something.

QOTW: I pick the cuticles around my nails. I've always been bad about it, but when my hands are dry in the winter it's 100x worse. I'm definitely better than I used to be, but still do it.

BQOTW: <--- that's George (my avatar). He'll be 4 in April.
"G" is our 2.5 year old yellow (red) lab and "H" is 12 weeks old. He's a mismarked (black and tan) lab from the same parents as Gunner. So they're real life brothers :)...for some reason it's uploading it sideways.

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while but have been lurking like a creeper! I'm 11dpo. 50mg clomid and dilation of cervix on cd 11. In addition to having endometriosis and fibroids that keep coming back, I also have a nearly closed cervix to add to another obstacle to getting a bfp one day. A bad habit I have is being lazyyyy. Since business is slow right now I struggle with motivation the moment my husband goes out of town. I'm currently binging on true blood and eating ice cream in bed...!!! As for furbabies,I love everyone's photos!! I need to figure out how to include a pic!

Several HSG's sprinkled throughout the years to up my chances of a BFP
Several dilation of cervix because they suspect the scar tissue is hindering it from fully opening (partially adds to the severe cramps all month)
IVF #1 Gonal F, Menopur and Cetrotide
    ER 12/1/2016
    ER-Retrieved 22 eggs 10 fertilized

Hello! I've lurked this board, but not been active...
We've been trying for 14 months.
DX is unexplained infertility, likely skinny PCOS
RX...today is CD1 I go in on Friday to talk about our next options. Think it'll be letrazole and an iui.
I wish I had a fur baby! Still trying to convince H that we need a puppy :)

@GoldenKeys My treatment plan is changing again.  We are still doing clomid for DH, but we're also going back to follistim + IUI.  The urologist and RE are recommending we continue with IUI because motility is still low and the clomid likely won't help with that.  CD2 for me today, going in for my baseline tomorrow morning.

    Hi all,

I'm fairly new to all of this. We just got our treatment plan after a bunch of testing and two consultations. I have been told that my blood work is congruent with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome, and he wants to start me with Clomid. He also stated that because my periods decide to come once a year, I am going to get a progesterone shot to stimulate my period in order to begin the Clomid. He also said he is going to bring me in to do tests to ensure that I am ovulating and then send me home for "timed intercourse". No appointments have been scheduled yet, but I have another consultation on February 11th to start the game plan.

I would absolutely love any words of advice, or any experiences you have to share. I am a bit worried about the "timed intercourse" as that seems like a lot of pressure, and gives me a bit of anxiety. I am really looking forward to finally feeling a little bit more in control of TTC though!

    NEWCOMERS:

To be added to the Weekly Checkin, please answer the following:

    1.  How long have you been TTC? We've been actively trying since July 2015 but we were NTNP before then

    2.  What is your diagnosis? Waiting on results of tests. For more details see -  https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12660784/dr-appointment-tomorrow-well-technically-today-dear-dairy#latest

    3.  What is your current treatment plan? Depends on what the doctor says about the results. We're currently "on hold" I guess.

How long have you been TTC?
About two years. We tried on our own for one year. We started clomid back in May and I got injured. Finally starting again now. Ovulated cd 16 and currently on cd 24

    What is your diagnosis?
PCOS. Did all the testing and I don't have anything else so that's the drs diagnosis

What is your current treatment plan?
I am on my first official cycle with clomid. Nervous to test.

As far as stress I like to lay on my bed and play on my phone. I used to eat but have been working hard to stop that :)

As far as fubabies we have a 2 year old out who loves snuggles and makes my day amazing. We also have a 1.5 year old great Dane. He is a big dork but he is sweet. Pretty much sleeps all day. :)

    Sorry for CD1 @Winnie81 :(
Thank you :) I pretty much expect to get my period, but my husband was really disappointed this month. I think it's more difficult when he gets bummed out. I'm happy for all the BFPs though!
