Ee-VAH-na. Accent on the middle syllable. I would guess that's how most American English speakers will pronounce it. I would probably assume it was a youneek spelling of Ivana. Or someone trying to turn a boy's name (Evan) into a girl's name. Either of which would be a deal breaker for me personally. Just my opinion, though! For all I know, it may be a perfectly legit name, I'm just not familiar with it.
I'm not currently pregnant, but I heard this name (it's the actress's first name who plays Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies) and thought it was pretty...pronunciation depending. We're big HP fans, DS's nursery is HP themed, so if we find the right name, we may use an HP-themed name as a middle name. I was just intrigued by the spelling/pronunciation.
I would've pronounced it eh-vah-nah. But then again, I'd pronounce Eva eh-vah, not ee-vah.
Agreed, the sound of it (if pronounced like you intended) is lovely. But I can see how it could cause issues. Good news is, there's many similar names that sound just as melodic and are just as vowel-heavy, even though they might not be connected to the Potter 'verse.
That said, I wouldn't give up on the HP themed name. I'm sure there's a lot of great names that subtly reference HP and aren't as specific as say Hermione for example. I think you might find a gem or two if you look into Draco-family-tradition-like constellation/astrological names. Maybe even something that sounds slightly obscure, soft and feminine like Evana would.
Re: How would your pronounce...
I was hoping for eh-vuh-nuh.
Also, ev-aw-nah

I like Ivana, in that it's NMS but a real name. (Minus being Trump's ex, but yeah.)

I would pronounce Evana Ee-VAH-na
basically the same difference for me as Anna/Ana - Eve-anna vs Eve-ana
