How many weeks today? 14! Yay second trimester

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? lemon or a troll doll

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Dr's appt tomorrow! This is my first with my actual doc; the first appt was with the nurse and the ultrasound tech. Really hoping to hear the heartbeat again and hear everything is still going ok!

Questions? Is anyone else having anxiety about daycare? We're moving and one of my future co-workers suggested the place she sends her kids, but warned me it took her 11 months to get off of the waiting list!!! eek.

GTKY: Anyone have fun Valentine's plans (or a V-Day baby announcement)?
DH and I are going to dinner and to see a play a couple days before V Day. I think we might also go play putt putt; they're doing a special date night the 3 days around V Day. We have never actually celebrated on the 14th, so I don't think we will this time, either!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Indigestion - even when I don't eat spicy food!

Questions? Anyone having anxiety about the results of the CVS test? That is our next milestone. I should hear within a week but that is feeling like forever. Being 37, I am nervous.

GTKY: Anyone have fun Valentine's plans (or a V-Day baby announcement)? We have our first doc's appointment on 2/16 so I think that we will wait to hear the heartbeat one more time to announce. I am stummped on how to announce it. I want to do something fun on IG.

cait5413 I remember having that same fear with my first. Everyone is different but I started very early in the process to find childcare so that when our daughter was born, I didn't have to worry about that. I would look into a few different options to see what works for you, daycare center, nanny or in-home daycare. I alway thought we would go with a nanny but ended up loving in-home daycares. After 2 years there, we could not be happier...plus we saved a lot of money!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? The babies are the size of limes. Although with twins they are a tad smaller.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? We found out via our first ultrasound two days ago it's twins! Symptoms have been pretty good, headaches have been the most recent. Just kind of a dull ache behind my eyes.

Questions? I'm overwhelmed thinking about planning for twins! I'm going to have questions but right now I'm just trying to let the shock settle in. Lol

GTKY: Anyone have fun Valentine's plans (or a V-Day baby announcement)? My SOs sister is announcing her pregnancy on vday, so I am going to wait probably until the end of week 13. I want to have some cute pics taken and we want to tell some more friends and family in person first... No real plans for us this year. We were going to go to the Dominican but we cancelled that due to Zika. I'll probably make lobster and steak for dinner.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Profiterole (cream puff). Our wedding cake was a croquembouche which is a tower of cream puffs, so it made this week's extra cute to us!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Starting to get my energy back, but then I easily over do it and become exhausted. I need to pace myself. Nausea is still there and now so is the heartburn!

Next Appt is on Tuesday!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? We had our 2nd doctors appointment on Tuesday morning and it was the first time we heard the heart beat! I was nervous we wouldn't be able to since its still a little early if depending on where the baby is located, but I wanted to make sure all is well before telling our friends this weekend.

GTKY: Anyone have fun Valentine's plans (or a V-Day baby announcement)? for the last few years we have ditched the date night V-day thing, and done romantic brunches instead. There are some great restaurants in my area that do fun all inclusive brunches (I guess my bloody mary will have to be virgin this year!).

For our announcement i wanted to do a FB thing, but decided against it. people can figure it out once i can't hide my bump anymore lol. Instead we are having a belated birthday party for me with all my friends. We already painted the nursery, so my SIL and i went to TJ Max yesterday and bought some cute onsies and booties. We're going to hang them on twine like a clothes line in the nursery so when people go in to see our 'renovated guest room' they will be in for a surprise!

Had our NT scan this week and our ultra screen came back and everything looks good! The baby was super cooperative for the scan so I'm really relieved!

its my cousins bridal shower on VDay, which takes up much of the day so there isn't much pressure for DH to put something together. We will probably order takeout with DS and do a date night the following week!
As for announcing, we put my DSs announcement on FB right after the NT scan and DH is itching to do it for this one too. We are going to be seeing a bunch of friends on Sunday for the super bowl so we will probably put it up before then. I was hoping to wait til the official end of the 1st tri with this preg but we're both really excited to spread the word!

We are going to have our NT scan on the Friday before and then going to visit/announce to the rest of our family that weekend (parents and siblings already know). I don't think we have any plans for Valentines Day since we will be away from home, DH usually cooks me dinner. I was thinking about announcing on facebook on valentines day but now that its getting closer, im chickening out and might just wait a little while longer.
