Hooray! Major b/fing break through today
My dear mom (did I ever actually complain about her coming to stay for so long? What was I thinking?) paid for me to have a consultation with a lactation consultant today. Well, it took her all of five minutes to figure out that Hope has a tiny mouth and short, steep palate, and that all we needed was to work on her latch. Within a couple of minutes, she was sucking away. I almost cried with relief.
I still need to practice on my own to get it down, but at least I know that my baby girl can b/f just fine. Its just her mommy that needs some work! What a relief.

Yay for your mom being there! It must be SO helpful to you. And yay for little Hope! I'm so happy you guys have worked this out!!
that's great! I was amazed how the LC could tell me when I had additional let downs - I didn't feel them but she could tell just the way that Avery was sucking...
how is BFing twins going? that's so cool!
