To all snapfish people. 50%off site wide until the 15th with code DONTWAIT2015. I finally ordered months worthy of pictures and holiday cards. Also if you go through Ebates it's 20% back right now! Pretty sweet deal.
Diono car seats are on Zulily! They have the Radian RXTs for $250. Shipping is $10 but that's still cheaper than Amazon. It's not returnable, BUT if you know for sure that's what you want it's a good deal.
I think we've been posting this here, but I have 6 similac vouchers up for grabs if anyone wants/needs! One expires dec 10, but the others are good until January!
Did you sign up for the similac strongmoms? Heck, I even signed my sister up to get more coupons and the free starter kit.
I've been super fortunate with formula and diapers. My parents hometown has this big market every Wednesday with all kinds of vendors (random but there are foods, purses, sunglasses, crafts, you name it) and there's a guy with a stand with all things baby! He has the tubs of similac for $10! They're all in date and sealed and most are the non-gmo as well. Thanks to my parents I have a stockpile of like 20 tubs, which should last my twins a good while yet. I always get a BUNCH of similac coupons and basically never have a use for them, so I'm happy to share!
@rrcameron21 yes, sign up for similar strong moms. I signed up myself and another under my husbands name. They mail you a coupon every now and then (I feel like its more often than once a month, but not quite every other week) and it keeps track of how many coupons you redeem. Once you redeem so many, you get another coupon for $15 off (the 'free' coupon)
Kohl's already has their black Friday offers online. I got LOs convertible carseat ordered. It's the britax marathon g4.1. It's kind of a weird lime green color, but I got it for $174. I went ahead and ordered 2. I also got 2 long sleeve body suits and 4 pairs of pajamas. I got 15% off the clothes and free shipping on the whole purchase. I got all that for $405, plus I got 105 in Kohls cash and ebates had 6% cash back, so about $24. I'm pretty pumped about the carseats. We probably won't need them for a while, but considering he's already 18 pounds at 5 months, it'll be nice to have them when the time comes.
Shutterfly has great deals on everything right now. I just got a Christmas ornament with LO's Santa pic for $8 including shipping. Use code EPIC. It ends tonight though.
Does anyone do the "cash envelope" system? DH and i are trying to do it for the month of january. The only thing I can't figure out: how do you plan out your groceries? I am a lazy grocery shopper Are there any shortcuts besides researching what everything is going to cost up front?
@hudson202 I've been a lazy shopper for the last year until a few weeks ago. I decided to make a meal plan and go shopping every Sunday morning (less busy). I've saved so much $$ dong it this way. I check the ads each week and clip coupons if they will benefit me for the week. Our grocery store also has an app with digital coupons so I try to go through that before going to the store. Sometimes I manage to save all kinds of $$ without really trying.

If you pay attention to the ads, you'll notice that certain foods go on sale in cycles. So, rather than buying chicken every time I shop, I buy enough chicken to get me to the next sale.
Like @alcrimmins I also meal plan and shop on Sunday. I do some food prep on Sunday after shopping to help make the week easier. (I was much better at this before babies, though). I plan my meals, more or less, around the same thing. For example, if it's taco Tuesday, we'll have chili on Wednesday, taco salad Thursday. This way, I buy avocados and taco shells that week only.
It's not perfect, and I could be better, but every little bit helps!

My parents did that when I was growing up, so I'm used to the concept, but now that I'm adult it's hard to imagine actually putting it into practice. I guess planning helps, like pp have said, and eventually you'd probably become a pro at estimating the total cost of various carts of groceries. But I sure wouldn't be able to go shopping without a card on hand, to avoid the ordeal of having to remove things from my purchase because I overestimated.

For those of you doing Pampers Rewards, retailmenot.com has good codes for extra rewards. I just got about 100 extra points. Other sites' codes aren't working for me, but Retail Me Not worked well.

This is technically related to this thread. Most infants drops are concentrated right? No, tylenol infants and Tylenol children's is the exact same?! $3 for a small tube or $3 for 3x the amount of medicine. The concentration is now the same they just failed to inform everyone. So basically they are selling less meds for the same price. That's crazy.
I've only looked at Tylenol so far. I also asked my P before assuming I was right.
I think all of the concentrated infant Tylenol was recalled a couple years ago bc parents were overdosing? I guess they just quit making it. I use Motrin now that he's 6 months since I only have to give him 1/3 the liquid amount.
Re: Savings!!
