For those that did the Harmony or other tests, if you found out gender, are you telling people now? Is it weird to share the gender at 13 weeks?
We are so thankful to have good results of a healthy baby boy, but now that we know and it's clearly so much earlier than the normal 20 weeks when an anatomy ultrasound shows gender, I wonder... Do we tell people gender now? Is it weird?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with this first time mom!!

I will say I feel like a terrible person that I really kind of hoped for a girl, but kind of knew all along it was a boy and indeed it is. Mostly importantly I'm thankful to be pregnant and healthy and to have low risk test results, but I'd be more excited right now if it was a girl. I'm certainly not crying about it or anything, but I kind of feel like a terrible person for having a preference. Mainly thankful because I know some people would give anything for any pregnancy, and certainly I would have felt that way as well if I had struggled to conceive.
Wow, sorry for going off topic, I just haven't wanted to tell anyone I know that I'm just a little bummed.

Don't worry you never know, you may be a)totally satisfied and smitten with having your son, b)get pregnant again quickly or c)consider other options.
My cousin (also due in August ... oddly enough) just shared she is having a baby girl. We mailed our families gender announcements. We're having a little boy.
Before we were expecting I really wanted a girl, but from the start I've known he was a boy. I actually think I would have been disappointed with a girl (even though that is what I wanted) because he's been a he in my heart all this time. My husband told me to stop calling him he until after we found out, and I had bought some boy-leaning items, which made my DH roll his eyes. I was *convinced* - and luckily right!
My husband really wants another (actually, he wants three, I want one) so when we found out it was a boy he said "Does this mean we get to try again!?!?"
