I had a bit of chub for baby to break through, but around week 15 I couldn't get my pre-pregnancy pants to fit even with a hair tie, so I consider that to be the point that I "popped." I also love how the full panel maternity pants help make the bump look a lot more round than it is on its own.
I've heard that lots of FTM tend not to be OBVIOUSLY pregnant until 6 months or so. I'm 18 weeks and according to friends and coworkers I "don't look pregnant AT ALL." I think however you notice your own body changing first, and notice perhaps a lot more differences than just a big belly. I second Pp and say that I totally can tell a difference in how hard my stomach is too. We're all on our own pace. Different body types will show differently.
I'm 14 weeks and showing like crazy, I can't believe it. I didn't have a "flat" stomach before but was in pretty good shape with just a little bit of flub. Starting at 11 weeks, I had to start wearing a bella band with my jeans. Over the past week when I've told some folks I'm pregnant I had some of them say "well yeah I thought you were from looking at your stomach but didn't want to say anything...". Meanwhile, my sister when she got pregnant she wore her regular jeans until 20 weeks!
I'm 17 weeks and it is not visible most days. If I wear a clingy or tight tops, on some days, it looks like I have a bit of a gut, but nothing that says pregnant. It is clearly a baby bump only when I first wake up and lay on my back.

With my first I started wearing maternity pants at around 17 weeks or so but didn't really look super pregnant. I went on a flight when I was 20 weeks and I totally thought I looked like I was showing but I lugged my big old backpack around the airport and no one even glanced at me much less offered me a seat or anything so I guess not. I don't think I actually looked like a pregnant person until more like 23-24 weeks.
I'm 15+4 and not really showing. I can tell, of course, but my admin said she was looking at me and decided she couldn't tell at all yet. I'm not wider at all, but poking forward a bit so I am careful about what I wear.
I'm 15 weeks and had a belly before hand. I don't feel like I'm showing, but I have noticed my stomach feels bigger and I feel like I can't suck it in anymore. So I look awkwardly fat, but I don't feel like it's actually the baby yet.
FTM 100% full-time maternity pants since week 10. Maybe other people thought I "just looked fat", but I haven't been able to force my regular pants since week 10 and at 18 weeks basically have no tops that fit anymore either. I thought they'd get too tight eventually when the belly got big, but apparently they all get too short way before too tight could even start to be an issue. UGH. I think showing varies greatly from one person to the next regardless of FTM status.
With my first I would say it was around 24 weeks before anyone noticed anything, especially strangers. Family would just say it looked like I had eaten a big lunch lol
I'm 15 weeks and I definitely notice something, but no one else has. My jeans still button but are super uncomfortable so I've started wearing maternity pants and bella bands. My shirts are still fitting but it just looks like I have a little spare tire.
I'm 18 weeks and some change and definitely showing. I ditched regular pants and leggings around 13 weeks because they'd been too tight for awhile. I'm with @noelietrex on the shirts too, I was not expecting all my shirts to be so short! I put on a regular t shirt the other day and looked ridiculous. I blame it on my super short torso but who knows? Everyone is different for sure.
I'm currently 18 weeks and I feel like I really popped about 2 weeks ago. Husband is always saying "you look SO pregnant!" but he's been saying that since the boobs got bigger...
I am 18 weeks and overweight. I can't even tell there is a baby. It just looks like I have gained weight. No one has said anything, but they keep eyeing my stomach when I am around them, expecting me to start showing that second
I'm 17 weeks now, FTM. Compared to before pregnancy, there's a huge difference. Since week 13, I've been unable to wear non-maternity pants, jeans, or even leggings. I have an obvious little bump already, probably because I have such a short torso. There's nowhere for baby to go but OUT!
But I'm still in an awkward phase. The bump isn't big enough yet to obviously be a baby. Sometimes I see strangers eyeing me, and I can tell they're wondering if I'm pregnant, or if I have a body type that carries ALL my fat around the middle.
Man I hate being the last in line! Haha 14+5 and I've definitely noticed a "shift" in where my weigh is. Sounds strange. I told some of my students and they said that they thought I was but couldn't tell if it was just pudge. (Gotta love teaching high school). I think I have something but everyone else says they can't tell.

It took a really long time to show with my first--I was probably about 7 months before it was obvious. I was thin but I'm a little taller than the average (5'8"). Lots of room for expansion lol
I think I look pregnant now at 17w, and I've had coworkers and DH comment that I finally look pregnant. But I don't think a stranger would point it out just yet without knowing what I looked like beforehand.
The bump is bumping more on some days than others, and definitely more so by the end of the day. But, overall I still don't have much at 16w6d. I had another coworker today ask "where's the baby?" and I wanted to be like "I'm wondering the same thing!"
I have been showing since around 13-14 weeks. FTM here. I am short with a short torso though so there isn't anywhere to go but out. I am overweight though and was worried I would just look extra fat for a long time (or the whole pregnancy?). I am happy that it clearly is a hard baby bump at this point.
I'm 5'7 with a medium build, never considered myself skinny or fat. I feel like I started showing at 13 weeks, the standard pants not buttoning, that sort of thing. Other people really noticed a bump around 15-16w.
Pretty wild stuff that we can grow another being inside of ourselves!
I am 5'3, 132 lbs and 18 wks pregnant. My belly really poked out yesterday but its been significantly sticking out since the 3 month mark. If I wear a flowy top you still can't tell though. A coworker that knows I am pregnant said she is shocked I am showing this much with my first child because she didn't show till 6 months. I felt a bit self conscious... Lol. I had to remind myself that everyone is different and to see this as a sign that my baby is growing more and more everyday.
Lol! I'm short with a very short torso-my husband is 5'11" I'm 5'4" and our legs are the same length. I'm also very slim and athletic. My pants stopped buttoning at 5 weeks. I have "fat pants" that are four sizes bigger than my norm-they stopped fitting at 9 weeks. Luckily my tops are long on my frame, so they just started getting too short this week-17. I think I popped at about 14 weeks and just looked pudgy before even though I was in maternity pants. I am noticeably pregnant now to others.

I think it depends on your build and frame. I started showing early with my first (I think around 14 weeks, maybe sooner) but I'm only 5' and have a short torso. Baby just goes out. All moms are different and show at different times. One of my coworkers is tall and lean and she was just starting to show with her second at 20 weeks.
I am 17 weeks today and my stomach is starting to show a little bit. Tomorrow is the hump day bump day thread, you should check it out! People will post photos of how their bumps look with how far along and whether or not they are a FTM/STM+.
I'm 16 weeks and DH and I can see a bump. Others can see it depending on what I wear. Tighter fitting clothing shows it and maternity clothes. But it's still pretty easy to hide with a baggy shirt or coat. Thank you cold weather! I am 5'10" and slightly overweight pre pregnancy so I am thinking I can hide it a little longer since I'm tall.
I can't tell! I'm 15w2d and I gained some weight before getting pregnant so I'm not sure. Somedays I see a bump, some days I just see a belly. I am in that awkward stage where people wonder, is she pregnant or is she fat
With my first I didn't start showing until around 18-19 weeks. I was actually 16 weeks pregnant at my wedding and didn't look like it. Second pregnancy, around 13 weeks. Maternity jeans a little earlier. This time around 10 weeks. I am 18 weeks now and definitely can't hide it. I still had extra tummy after my first so honestly if I ever wore maternity pants, I still looked pregnant.
This is my third and I am 16 weeks 3 days. I just bought some maternity pants yesterday even though I can still fit into two pairs of jeans I wore before pregnancy(button and all). The rest of my pre-preg jeans I need to put a rubber-band around the button in order to fit comfortably. With that said, I can still "hide" my pregnancy, but since getting my maternity pants yesterday, I can really "show it off" as well. I noticed the full panel maternity pants definitely enhance my bump and make me look more pregnant then if I were to wear my regular jeans. Anyway I know I have popped, but depending on what I wear people may or may not know I am pregnant. Most of my fitted shirts look funny now and I look very large in the area that is supposed to be narrow, which is why I think it is time to buy maternity shirts or just stick to the tunic style tops. I really don't feel like buying a bunch of maternity clothes since this is my last ( I got rid of my clothes from my first two because this baby is my unexpected IUD baby) so I am trying to be creative with what Ive got, but it's not easy.
@Kellyj103 omg me too! Everytime I go out in public my mind debates whether to just stick out my stomach to look more pregnant than I am or to try and suck it in !
Starting to feel discouraged and looking forward to my next midwife appointment in 2 weeks. i haven't gained a pound and i am 17 weeks today. i did start out a bit overweight, not terribly but not thin. I know it can take a bit of time for FTM's but i don't feel like i am really showing. Last appt was 3 weeks ago and heard strong heartbeat. But now that i am not gaining weight or "feeling" pregnant, its stressful again. I have not felt baby yet but i know that's early as well. Guess i am feeling what a lot of moms feel like at this point, but very eager for some growth or movement..and my appointment so that i can hear baby. My husband says i'm showing and i have been taking pictures week by week and i suppose there's a slight difference week by week but...come on appointment!
