Hey there First Trimester! Here we go again!

Got myself a BFP at 9dpo this morning. I'm literally like 2 seconds pregnant. So I'm cautiously optimistic. Just wanted to introduce myself here.

Hey there! I'm Prim. I've been bumming on TB since 2012. Been through the trimester boards with my pregnancy with my son. Here we go again. You can Ask Me Anything here if you want! (AMA). I'll do my best to answer.

GTKY: How did you tell your husband you were pregnant? What was his reaction?

I showed him my test and he is always skeptical until I pop on a digital. He's also worried because MIL is going to SHIT FIRE. She wanted us to wait until 2017 for astrological purposes (oh I could go into detail but your brains and common sense might hurt) and she's going to FREAK when she finds out.

I had DS wear a big brother shirt for him to see when he got home from work. Only.... after 20 minutes he still hadn't noticed, so I held up DS's arms and said, "Geez! Look!". Then he gave me a fist bump. Men.

I gave DH a card that on the outside said "Owl always love you" and on the inside I just wrote "...and our little one too!" It took him a second to sink in and then he just said "really?" I think he was in shock. About 10 stunned seconds later I got the big hug I expected

GTKY: I, um, put the test in a ziplock baggy and taped it to the bathroom mirror. It was the only place I knew he would look first thing after waking up. He went in the bathroom, waited a beat, then came out and said "Are you fucking kidding?" We're a very romantic family.

Yay!! Congratulations! I'm totally lurking from TWW and so happy for all the October 2016 TTGP Grad moms! FX I get to join you ladies soon with that BFP...!!! I obv don't have anything to tell DH yet, but I got matching mugs that say, "Behind every good kid is a great mom/dad," so I plan to bring up our coffee and tea that morning in those, which may be Valentine's day if we are lucky this cycle.
