Baby Girl Names

We are trying to decide between three names for our baby girl due early May. The middle name will be Grace regardless, after DH's grandmother. We have a longish last name starting with "Ma" sound.

Our list:
Gemma Grace
Peyton Grace
Adlih Grace

Gemma and Adlih are both after DH's other grandmother. Her middle name was Emma (love the name but too popular for us) and Adlih is her first name (Hilda) backwards. Adlih would be pronounced Ad-lee.

Thoughts??

Well I would not pronounce your backwards name like it's spelled at all. I would drop that fast. Peyton is so trendy and will be dated and I prefer it fr a boy although regardless I always thing of Peyton Manning and his massive forehead. Gemma is awesome!

I'd totally go with Gemma. Peyton is a boy's name IMO and the backwards spelling thing is an awful idea.

I like Gemma and would go with that

I think Peyton Ma- will make people think Peyton Manning all the time when they hear her name and if your last name is Madden I think it would be especially too football-y. Sorry.

Adlih doesn't really have any substance to me. It just seems like two random, generic sounds thrown together, not a name.

Another for Gemma. Peyton is a boys name and while my mind did pronounce Adlih they way you wanted, its too out there. I don't think the pronunciation will click for most people, and it doesn't visually look good, as a name. She will be constantly having to pronounce it for people, and spell it out.

Another vote for Gemma. While I'm not a huge fan of the alliteration of Gemma Grace, it's by far the best on your list.

Why a backwards name... That is not an honor... Just name her Hilda.

i vote for Gemma but with the SOA reference it would be out for me because I just think of a trashy biker chick but I did really like it before that reference ruined it for me.

Gemma (which I love). I don't particularly like Peyton. When I first saw Adlih, I pronounced it "Ah-dil-ah". It's going to be a struggle for your child with that one.
