What do you use for blow-out stain remover?

Oxy Clean does nothing for dd's clothes. She has now stained uphteen outfits. Do you have anything particular that works for poopy stain remover??

i rinse right away then soak in a bucket of water w/ soap in it. then wash w/ reg old tide. usually comes out. ill leave it in the sun, stain up for a few hours too if needed

Well, I use Baby Oxyclean and have gotten every poop stain out, including ones that had already gone through the washer and dryer.

Here's what I do:

Soak the garment(s) in cold water and a little Baby Oxyclean powder.

Hang it out while wet in direct sunlight. The sun breaks down the billirubin in the poop (it's what gives the poop the yellow color, just like the yellow in jaundice caused by billirubin.) The stain literally disappears in the sun!

Then wash and dry as usual.

I was going to say oxy-clean but see that doesn't work for you.

I've also had good luck with Shout stain stick, the gel stuff though.

Perfect! Oh, and we didn't get baby oxyclean. We just got the regular - I didn't even know there was a baby one out there. Great to know!!

At my Target it's next to the Dreft. I've also seen a liquid version (looks like a Windex bottle) at BRU, but haven't tried it. If you have any outfits that have already gone through the washer and dryer, try the trick out on those, too! I did, just on a whim, and was so ecstatic when the stains came out!

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Baby OxyClean (the liquid version, that definitely looks like Windex, as one PP said). I will give it as a gift or recommend it to every expectant parent for the rest of all time.

It has gotten out diaper blowouts of the greatest magnitude, including a stain that had gone through the dryer. It worked so well, I'm using it on my clothes now--it got out an ink stain on a white blouse that I thought was ruined!
