Got my BFP last Friday...per Fertility Friend I am due Oct 2nd. My first OB appointment is in 2 weeks! Very excited and nervous, this is my first pregnancy.

How is everyone calculating EDD, by LMP or O date?
I'm going by O date. Either way is pretty similar for me since I O'd on cd17, but I figure it's technically more accurate. Lmp would put my edd at 9/30 instead of 10/2

For me LMP put the due date at 10-1, O date puts it at 10-5

Hi all! My EDD based on O date is 10/3. Can't really go by LMP because I ovulated on day 40 of my cycle (not unusual for me!). This is my first pregnancy and I'm so pumped!!

My edd is October 1st, though it will likely be a September baby as my doctor said I would likely go into preterm labor I'm going to hold out hope that my doctor is wrong and the baby will be born happy and health close to the due date!
My phone won't let me add it to the spreadsheet but our EDD is Oct. 9th. I have a history of preterm but hoping to get to Oct. 1st this time. Congrats to everyone

The rundown: we have been trying for about 3 months I got my first ever BFP Saturday at 7:30pm!! My last period was super short and light, and the BFP came up immediately and at night, so I don't know yet if I am due October 10th, or if I am actually 8 weeks!!
Based on what everyone else said, I recalculated my due date using O day (10/6) instead of LMP (10/7). It's only 1 day earlier, but I like to think it's more accurate! For some reason it feels way better to just be one day closer! I also went ahead and put myself down for team green, even though DH and I haven't exactly agreed on that yet
I have a confirmation test and a free ultrasound scheduled for Thursday after work! I live next to a non profit that does this, so I'll finally know how far along I am. I have Kaiser, and will definitely go to my real doctor to establish a new OB soon, but they are crazy expensive!

I'm super excited, looks like baby #2 is on board! I have yet to visit my OBGYN and the anticipation is killing me...my appointment isn't till 2/10!!!
