It's potty time!..... I think?

My LO is 18 months old. Do any of you have any tricks that have worked when potty training? Am I starting to early?

My 16 month DD peed on the little potty twice one night. I'm following her lead. If she asks I let her sit on her potty. I figure I'll get more serious about it in a few months. I plan to do a naked weekend - have her play naked in the kitchen area all weekend and put the little potty in there with us.

Some kids are ready to start that early, and others aren't. Just follow LOs lead. My older son self potty trained last March and was accident free in 2 weeks. DS2 is almost 18 months and nowhere near ready. He does like flushing and washing hands though!

I wondered the same thing, so we asked the pediatrician at babys 18 month appointment and the doctor said to wait, it was too soon. I agree with other comment though, some kids might be ready but my daughter is not.

It's potty time!..... I think?
