I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant (LNMP on Dec. 25th), and as of yet, I have nearly no symptoms. I was so shocked to discover a positive pregnancy test last week when I was supposed to get my period that I took 6 more over the course of two days - all positive! Now I'm a week and a half late for my period (I'm very regular), so I guess add that to the seven positive pregnancy tests and this is really happening! Yay!!!
I know it seems silly to want symptoms, and I might regret this down the line when I'm puking and cranky, but silly or not, I want them. It makes me worry that I'm not actually pregnant. I don't feel any different, other than more tired and thirsty than usual. My whole life I've wondered what it would feel like to be pregnant, but "exactly the same" didn't cross my mind as a possibility! All the pregnancy books and websites discuss how to navigate first trimester symptoms, but they don't mention that there might not be any at all. My first ultrasound isn't until February 22nd - feels like an eternity away. . .
Anyone else symptom-free?
Re: No symptoms yet - hard to believe I'm pregnant!
But no, I have all the symptoms. Ive been miserable and puking for over 2 weeks. Thanks for sharing.
I didn't feel different until just after 6 weeks with my first and just before 6 weeks with this one.
Until week 6 you aren't really suppose to feel anything major as your hormones level are still low and you are not even sharing blood with the baby. You have one symptom, the most important one: missed period.
Enjoy those symptoms free days to establish good eating habits while you can!
Now excuse me while I run to the bathroom to dry heave for the fourth time today.
