  • Thank you so much for posting this. I'm super paranoid right now so this definitely helps :)
  • Thanks for this! Anything you can tell us first timers to ease our worry? Anything we can do to help prevent it? I'm doing so much reading about stuff and it's just all so overwhelming!

I wish I knew the secret to preventing m/c!  I've had two losses so this first trimester is not going to be easy emotionally.  Just enjoy every day you are pregnant and try to stay positive.
  • Love seeing this spelled out in numbers.. this was so helpful my last pregnancy.. it's so hard after loss to not worry every minute :(
  • Thank you for posting. I couldn't remember these from my first kid. Where did you pull these? @lilyaster

  • I searched for it since I had seen it on other boards before.  I don't know where it actually comes from though.

  • I'm so terrified of miscarrying. I'm 39 and I know my risks are higher. We spent three years TTC without a single positive, and we want this baby so badly. I don't know how I would handle it if we lost it.

  • Yah, @lilyasteron my old board they had a link. I guess I could try to search through it all. But I probably won't lol. Too much work. And then I would probably be reminded of all the crazies right before the mass exodus.

Ladies (and anyone else who is in fear) please don't be scared of having a miscarriage or any other pregnancy problems. Just trust and have faith in the Lord and pray everyday pleading the blood of Jesus over your babies & yourselves and the almighty God will see you all thru this journey safe and sound. Please read this bible verse and claim it for yourselves daily in Jesus name! Exodus 23:25-26 NIV which says:

“Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.”‭

  • This list is not really helpful nor does it make me feel "safer" at any point. I was at my 12 week appt when we found out our baby had no heartbeat. At 8 weeks we had seen a heartbeat. The baby was measuring at 11w3d too. I am not being a debbie downer about this pregnancy and am feeling really optimistic about it, but this list doesn't help me.

  • I think we are aware that everything doesn't pertain to everyone.  I am a Christian and I find comfort in the words of @PeggyOlsonFTW. Information that does not pertain to me is not offensive, especially when considering that the context of most posts in this forum are meant to be helpful.  If it doesn't apply to you...keep it moving.  No one should have to sensor herself or her beliefs just because others think/believe differently.
  • I disagree with all of the comments. I too have suffered a loss but in no way do I think God didn't save my baby. That totally contradicts the principle of Christianity. But perhaps I'm in a different place in my spiritual life. think people are too sensitive and easily offended, particularly on the Internet. I stand by my thoughts that if you don't like something that's said then keep it moving. It's only offensive if you allow it to offend you. I don't give strangers that much power over my life.
  • @DanniG79 I never said I found it offensive. I said it was upsetting. Nor did I say that God didn't save my baby. I am a very spiritual person, being upset by my loss and by that comment doesn't make me any less so.

However, if you don't like what we have to say about it, feel free to "keep it moving."

  • I'm not offended by any comments made in this forum nor should you be offended by mine.  All of this is just entertainment. If I don't like something that's said then I ignore, which is the entire point of my phrase "keep it moving".  I never said others weren't entitled to their opinion.  But everything doesn't have to be offensive.

    Pertaining to @DarthFuriosa

"The world is not filtered through my sensibilities"...If that were true then we wouldn't have blatant prejudice/racism/discrimination. You may want to rethink that statement.

Knowlingly offending someone...Who was knowingly offended?  I'm not offended.  Are you?  Perhaps you should take my advice. Lol.
  • @PeggyOlsonFTW
Or you could take my advice...I actually think that's the better suggestion.  :). Enjoy your evening!
