Pictures welcome!! I loved our wedding. It was an outside ceremony, cocktail hour in an old barn, and reception in a gorgeous tent by a huge brick patio and a bar. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. Hands down one of the best days of our lives. Bridesmaids wore black floor length sweetheart dresses and the flowers were lots of different colors. We all wore different colored shoes which was fun, too.
How are you feeling? My eh stomach is becoming light nausea ( actually happy, I know I'll eat my words later), so much extra saliva.
Doing anything baby related today? No, BUT yesterday H told his older brother I was PG. THEN his brother told us that his wife is pregnant and they just found out this past weekend!!!!! They have been doing a mix of NTNP/TTC for two and half years. She is not sure how far but thinks early/mid week 4. One of our children will be the first grand-kid. H's whole family (and mine) live in the same city, we moved almost three years ago.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: So many thoughts with this knowledge! First I need to admit that I am even more fearful of a miscarriage now. I really want to a do a double reveal with them because whoever goes second is going to have a bit of their "thunder" stolen. Is this bad to think or to ask? I am so happy for them as I know they have been trying since they got married 2.5 years ago. I'm so excited that our kid will have a cousin the SAME age. Here is a funny story to add, so my due date is my brother's birthday. My brother and our cousin are born a day apart.

We got married at Sugarloaf - a big ski resort up here - in August. It was beautiful and everyone stayed right at the resort so we had a whole weekend of celebration with a couple hundred of our family/friends. I wore an ivory dress and had a bouquet of mostly stargazer lillies and other pink flowers, my girls wore long pink dresses and had white bouquets. It was wonderful.. I'm too lazy to post pictures but the resort uses our pictures for its ads, so whenever a friend gets engaged they say "I swear I saw you in the Maine Weddings magazine!!" Boom. I'm famous

Raves/Rants/Randoms: Told both mom's this weekend. Which was great but now I feel like there is so much more pressure on me. I like living in my own little bubble.
GTKY: We eloped in a really awesome bookstore in town and our theme and vows were book themed. Even though it was just the 2 of us we went the whole 9 yards. Afterwards we went to a really nice steakhouse for dinner. It was amazing and I wouldn't do anything different if I had to do it again.

My wedding was huge so the first thing I would do is cut the guest list to just immediate family and close friends. I don't care too much about the details, but maybe that is because I am already married so it doesn't seem as important anymore. The only thing I care about is good food and good company.

We were both married before and didn't want to go thru the whole ordeal so we just had immediate family at a small park officiated by a judge. It was absolutely beautiful because it was so simple. We all went and had dinner afterwards.
How are you feeling? Overall good. Been getting waves of nausea but other than that good!

My husband is Greek so we had a big fat Greek wedding lol it was such a wonderful day! We got married in our church surrounded by family and friends. Our colors were light gray and purple. My dress was lace. The cake was big due to all the people (again Husband is Greek lol) and yes we mashed each other pretty good with it lol! lots of dancing especially traditional Greek dances! It was a fantastic day and in the end we got to call each other husband and wife! For our honeymoon we left the next morning for Greece it was gorgeous!
@AmMcc12 - What a great GTKY! I love the TTGP's GTKYs. I also love GTKYs that aren't all pregnancy/baby related.
@noelana42 - your wedding looks stunning!
@jhems776 - (TMI/gross warning) I've definitely had more discharge. It's crazy. When I was TTGP I pretty much NEVER had any discharge and now it's like a faucet I can't turn off. (That's a really gross visual. I'm sorry.) And congrats to your bro! How exciting! And no one can/will steal the thunder. Baby-related thunder cannot be stolen, it can only be multiplied and that is a fact.

How are you feeling? Fine, I guess. Mostly tired, the same as I was before. The nausea seems to be getting worse, but it's mostly only bad during the afternoons.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope. Maybe reading more baby materials the docs gave me.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I think I might be getting a cold. I went to sleep with a stuffy nose and woke up with a sore throat. I can't tell if I'm cold-tired or pregnant-tired or both!
On another note, DH is definitely getting annoyed with me feeling so crappy and I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm "milking it." I'm getting upset because he isn't being very helping with house things - like making dinner or going grocery shopping - because it's never been "his job." I mean I get it. He HATES the grocery store, but I seriously cannot muster up the energy in the evening to go. We have plans to go together tonight, which will make the trip go by faster at least, but it would be nice if he would just go solo for once. I'm also considering signing up for grocery delivery again, even though it adds about $10-15 to our bill each week. It might be $10 well spent.
Questions? I have an ultrasound tomorrow! I'm trying to think of any questions to ask my doc when I'm there because I'm never well prepared for these things!
GTKY: I loved my wedding. It wasn't anything spectacular. I would call it very, very basic. It had all of the trappings of a wedding without anything really "WOW!" But I was able to get married in the beautiful church I was raised in and we didn't go over budget. Everything was well hosted, and we had a great DJ and party. I would have loved to spent more on flowers, location, photography, and really had a mega beautiful blow-out, but I'm really glad I was able to have the things that mattered to me (my church, my guests, my dress and my cake!). I wore and ivory ball gown and my maids wore a blush pink long gowns. We got married in the winter (our one year anniversary is in two weeks!). My colors were pink and gold and I had the most beautiful bouquet of pink and white flowers. My cake was amazing - chocolate, vanilla and raspberry with super delicious buttercream! I cannot wait to eat our one-year cake!

Pictures welcome!! We eloped and got married on a beautiful beach in Hawaii with just our parents present. A couple months later we had a big reception with friends and family. It was beach themed and we played a slideshow of video and photos from our ceremony and honeymoon. I think it was the greatest idea and saved a ton of money. It was nice to be able to wear my dress twice and relive the moment.
How far along are you? EDD? 7 weeks, 9/13
How are you feeling? Terrible. I haven't been on here all week because looking at the screen makes me dizzy. And I think I have a sinus infection. Ugh.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: I've developed an aversion to coffee (WTF), unless it's blended like a frappuccino. I can't even stand the smell of it. I've been drinking coffee since I was 13, so this is really weird.

GTKY: We had a quick ceremony at city hall on a Monday. Afterwards, our friends and family met us for drinks at our favorite bar. It was so simple, but it was perfect for us. We just get right to the point I guess. We were only engaged for 2 weeks!

GTKY: We had a winter wedding (01/30). I loved it. It was more on the formal side. My bridesmaids wore long black dresses with white flowers. I had an ivory dress with a dark red bouquet. We took photos outside, so I wore a faux fur stole. I need to find the disc with our wedding photos. Our reception was at Maggiano's and it was so good. The best food and drinks and great music. The only thing I would do differently is probably invite less people.
How far along are you? EDD? About 6 1/2 weeks. I have a data my scan in a couple weeks.
How are you feeling? Nauseous. It tends to be mild but it lasts most of the day. It gets really bad at midday - my cubicle must be too close to the breakdown because I can smell everyone heating up their lunches and it makes me want to gag.
Doing anything baby related today? I'm going to buy a nice electronic toothbrush. My gag reflex is really sensitive so I can only tolerate brushing my teeth for a minute or less, so I need to make that time as efficient as possible.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: My husband has been so great so far. This is the busy time of year at work and with this 1st tri sickness and fatigue, I am just useless at home. He has really picked up all the extra slack and hasn't complained about it.

My wedding was pretty awesome. We had it at an apple orchard during the spring when all the blossoms bloomed. Unfortunately it rained that day so we couldn't have our ceremony outside be we were able to get most of our pictures done outside before the ceremony and rain. There isn't much I would do differently if I had to do it again.
How exciting for your family - but hang in there for a pregnancy of comparisons! Weight gain, symptoms, baby growth - woohoo!
I'm still not positive about due date! I have my appointment tomorrow to date the baby!!

Raves/Rants/Randoms: Rave: I use essential oils and I'm so excited on how they are already working for me. I haven't needed a lot yet, but I'm excited to get to use them to their fullest with this pregnancy. I started using them when DD #2 was 3 months old and they've just been great in our lives.
Rant: I can't stand it when people try to tell you what's best for your body when it comes to your pregnancy. ie, stop running, working out, eating this and that....I just want to punch people in the face when they tell me that. That is all.
How are you feeling? I feel alright, a little nauseous.

I wish I could get married again. It so beautiful and I had a blast. Wedding colors were coral and white. The cake was four tiers with gorgeous roses on it. My bridesmaids wore long, strapless coral dresses with a white sash around the waist. Groomsmen wore black tuxedos, white shirts with coral vests. I'll post more pics later when I'm on a desktop.

My wedding was just an awesome, perfect party. We got married in an 18th century chapel in the town that I grew up in and then the reception was in an historic hotel across the street. My dress was perfect. The flowers were beautiful. And we just had a great time. 4.5 years later and we're still going strong.
How are you feeling? besides being super fatigued and having to pee every twenty minutes, I'm hanging in there! Boob soreness has decreased a little and I'm feeling a little less anxious/moody. No nausea yet but I heard the sixth week is when a lot of women first have morning sickness so I keep waiting for it to hit any minute now...
Doing anything baby related today? I keep pinning and bookmarking all these articles of good information to know about pregnancy, labor, registering, etc, and I've been fantasizing about how handy it'd be to just put all of it together into one Microsoft Word doc. So I might start working on that today!
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I have had like absolutely no desire to have sex with DH lately and I feel pretty crummy about it. I can tell he's secretly going through withdrawal, but he won't admit it. And it's not that I don't WANT to, I just can't get my body to even go there, if that makes sense. Too much work, too exhausting, too cold, etc. Wish I could just transfer my lusty thoughts to his brain and it could be translated as pleasure hahah. Any other ladies kind of in the same boat?
Questions? My insurance only covers one ultrasound throughout the entire pregnancy and that has me really stressing out. I know ultrasounds can get really expensive, like at least a couple hundred dollars per piece. Has anyone had a similar coverage, and if so, what did you do about it to help cover the cost? Pay out of pocket or find a way to make them cheaper?

Raves/Rants/Randoms: Had my first appt today!!!! Was so excited! As my doctor was going by LMP, they had me at 8 weeks, but with my long periods I knew I was no where near there but couldn't confirm. So I got an unexpected US today to see how far along we are. I was tracking at 7 wks, but US actually put us at 6 wks , 4days which is fine. But I got to see my baby (or the slug like thing that looked like it) and got to see the heart flutter and hear the lady clock it at a healthy 136 bpm!!! I didn't think I'd get a US until 20 weeks, so I'm a bit ecstatic right now.

I loved our wedding, it was the best day of my life. I loved celebrating with all our friends and family. That being said, if I could live and learn, I'd be like @noelani42 and pocket the money and elope.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: So I complained yesterday about fading nausea but I think now that it was all in my head. I've been feeling sick today again and couldn't keep down my breakfast this morning. I'm just so paranoid and terrified of going through another loss so I'm over analyzing every little thing like if my bbs don't hurt as much, if I'm not as nauseous and all the soda I've had (honestly, I've only drank soda like 4 times but still) and thinking that something will be wrong at the scan on Thursday.

GTKY: I wasn't able to plan my wedding as I would have liked as I was living in a different country at the time but it turned out beautifully. I wore a VW ivory dress and had my MOH pick out the bridesmaids' dresses and they wore long black dresses. Our wedding was formal and the boys were in tuxes. My husband looked amazing in a tailcoat! We had a ginormous cake but our baker put in strawberry filling instead of white chocolate. The colors were black, white and red so I had red roses and the bridesmaids had white ones. We had cherry blossoms at the reception and the centerpieces were white and black ostrich feathers (flowers are expensive!). If I could change something, I would have loved to have been able to plan it better.

The idea of a traditional wedding was too overwhelming and expensive. We did a JP ceremony with our immediate families, and went out to dinner after. I wore a plum/purple dress and we picked up a Halloween cupcake cake to take to the restaurant since we got married 10/29. Then we spent the night at the honeymoon suite of a fancy hotel. No actual honeymoon either.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: Rant: Sister-in-law texted me within 2 minutes of hearing that the US went well (heard from DH). Said "OMG OMG COME OVER. PLEASE MAKE ME THE GODMOTHER"....am I crazy or was that incredibly inappropriate?! I told my husband that I thought it was out of line but he couldn't seem to understand why...I'll leave it for now but if she brings it up again I will have something to say about it and it probably will involve her not being the godmother. Plus we've had 2 losses so I felt like it was very premature to say something like that.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: We are going to have to spend major money this week. We need to fix our leaky roof, well more of the chimney flashing than entire roof but still. Then DH texts me this morning to say his car's engine is chugging and sluggish, so make him an appointment at a car repair place. It looks like we may be buying a new car sooner than we had anticipated. And that's after I paid $500 at the OB. Apparently we have to pay our entire deductible out of pocket before our insurance will pick up anything. So big money being spent this week.

Pictures welcome!! Well, our wedding was memorable, in more ways than one. We had planned on getting married in my DH's church in the old chapel. Unfortunately, we were also getting married in 2011. The chapel was destroyed in the tornados that ripped through the south that year. We couldn't hold the wedding in the main church because of all the structural damage around it. So, with less than one month to go, I re-planned my entire wedding. It ended up being nicer than before, but still. We had the wedding in my church and our reception at the local Botanical Gardens. It turned out beautiful.

How are you feeling? Shockingly fine. At 6 weeks I felt the tiredness ease up in addition to the off and on cramps. Now I am just biding my time until our first appointment/ultrasound on Monday.
Doing anything baby related today? Yes, I am making a list of people DH and I need to tell we are expecting when we hit the 2nd trimester before we do a FB reveal.
Raves/Rants/Randoms? I am in the same group of ladies who thinks this first trimester is DRAGGING on. I don't plan on announcing our pregnancy until Valentine's Day weekend to our parents and my siblings and then everyone else will be when we reach the 2nd trimester. Time is going SO SLOW.
Questions? No...but I was really worried this weekend about my lack of MS, sore boobs, etc. But I did a lot of searching in other threads and found other women going through the same so that eased my fears a bit. I can't wait until the doctor confirms the pregnancy on Monday though. *end rant*
GTKY: Tell us about your wedding- My husband and I went to Las Vegas in March and "eloped" with 18 of our closest family and friends present. It was beautiful and fun and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

How are you feeling? scared again. The bleeding continues as I wipe bright red , not heavy like Sunday , I went to the doctors again after bleeding and everything is fine. Strong heart beat and growing perfectly.

Questions : did anyone bleed on and off there beginning of there first trimester and everything be ok. I think I need some reassurance besides the ultrasounds I keep getting
GTKY : I had an amazing wedding and wish everyday I can replay that day all over again. I was able to rent space on the 26th floor of a Newark building facing the NYC skyline. I rented every piece of furniture to make it exactly what I envisioned . I only have the mobile app so I can't post the pics : (
