Hi girls! I'm new on here, but have been down infertility road(s) a loong time. We had twins back in 2011, and froze 5 embryos at the time we transferred them. Recently, we decided to do a single frozen transfer. We arrived this past Wednesday 1/20, and was informed the first straw they thawed contained no embryo!!?!?!?? They went on to thaw another, which was great quality, and my first beta is on Friday. (However, my clinic doesn't call with results until after repeat beta on Monday 2/1.) I took a hpt (cheap first signal one from WalMart) this morning with no line, but I know it's waay early only being 4dp5dt. Best of luck to everyone!
@ajdjh Weird that it was empty! Are the embryos PGS tested? Good luck! It's too early to test, don't worry about the negative!
@tvh1982 Describe the slight pains? In utero? I'd look at that as a great sign that you've got some nestling going on. I don't think you can start a period on the estrogen and progesterone so look at it as true implanting happening! Good luck and eat lots of food, drink lots of water and try to think happy thoughts! How to describe @StephanieWalstrom, they look like ovulation pains, only they are not on one side, its more in the middle. Several cramps, the 'you're about to start your period.' I'll try to stay positive, but I'm just so exhausted. But your positivity is quite contagious! Thank you xoxoxo
Welcome @ajdjh ... Hang in there @tvh1982 I know exactly how you feel.. I'm 2dp5dt and already starting to question things... I have really bad back pain... No clue if it's from sitting around a lot.. And I have cramping and stomach stuff going on (is it the antibiotics) who knows....My clinic said no bed rest so I just did a little of both relaxing and normal activity. Good luck tomorrow @kmartinez209@takethelongway on your transfer and @ChristinaV2015 with your beta!! My beta is 1/31 so 1 long week to go! I'm going back in tomorrow for BW to check estrogen and progesterone levels... Also Estrogen was good the other day so I'm continuing 2mg 2x a day ...but day of transfer they said my progesterone could be higher so they upped by PIO shot to 1.5 from here on (was 1cc) and it blead a little too.. Nurse said totally normal..and definitely starting to feel the burn!
I'm sorry you're not feeling great @tvh1982 and @purepositivity. I had some weird stretching pains in that area in my sleep that woke me up around days 2-3. I toss and turn in bed through, so I don't know if I stretched too hard/much in my sleep and that's what caused it. It's so hard not to symptom spot. I kept saying to myself that every symptom could mean something either way, so I couldn't "use" it in my arguements that it worked or not. The spotting (glad you guys don't have that) I had made me nervous but again, I knew that because of the PIO I'm on, it would be really, really rare to bleed through it. Symptoms can still make you freak out, and I'm sorry if you feel any anxiety. Hopefully we all have great betas!!!
@tvh1982 Me too! I had planned to shower and dress myself to go buy some new mascara at the mall and perhaps a manicure too! Ended up making it to shower and dress and decided to get back into bed for a nap instead! Talk about goals! I'm feeling a little crampy on the left side now! I'm waiting for great news like @pipperella!! You both will be such wonderful mothers!!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!
A tip on the progesterone shots: go super slowly with the injections, 2 rounds of massage, heat, AND use the muscle after. That allowed me to sleep through the night and really reduced my pain. I think using your butt muscles helps it work through and not sit. I've been bleeding too. The baby aspirin is a blood thinner and provably doesn't help! Xo

Hi ladies sorry I've been so quiet this weekend, I took a digital HPT yesterday morning and was a BFN. I was 9dp3dt. It may have been a little early for a digital but I don't know. I didn't test at all during my fresh cycle but this cycle felt different and I didn't want to be heart broken tomorrow. I'm still holding out a bit of hope but I'm not feeling too confident. Keeping my FX and praying for all of you ladies still in your wait!
@ChristinaV2015 Don't lose hope! I know that's crushing, but it is early!! You were only 3 day, it's probably too early! Try your best to wait on the beta. My nurse told me at my last appointment that a patient took a hpt one day before beta and it was negative and she was certain she wasn't but then she got a positive blood test the next day! Don't lose hope, comrade!! We are all cheering for you!
@ChristinaV2015 thinking of you! I'm hoping it's not what you think.... But if it is you will get through it!!! I don't think we'll ever understand why we have to go through all this but your not alone! focus on what you do have today xo @Piperella thank you... They let me pee a cup before the procedure because my bladder was super full and I was able to get up and use the restroom right after the procedure. They didn't make me lay down or anything and I actually prefer that. 9 days until beta!

So... I got a bfp on an early response hpt today! I'm 5dp5dt (but I think it was actually a day 6 blast they transferred). I'm still cautious (been down various roads before) but it's a step in the right direction so far! Hoping the same for all of you.

Thanks so much girls!! Ya know, I could seriously write a book about all of my infertility journeys starting back several years ago. I went thru 4 iuis, and 5 crazy Ivfs. Then had my twins. At the time these embryos were frozen PGD was fairly new and they didn't recommend doing it. We considered thawing and doing it now, then refreezing, but decided against it. So no, not tested. I also had surgery to remove adhesions, and a cancelled cycle before this one for fluid. I'm not feeling much, a few pings here and there, mostly think I'm bloated from the pio... And HUNGRY. The doctor didn't really give me details other than it looked great (probably wanted to brush over the fact the first one they thawed was MISSING!?). But he did give me a pic and looks like it was hatching. It's a little different for me this time, being I already have twins. Not that I want it to work any less, but I've just had sooo many weird things happen along the way that I've become a little better at trying to let what will be just be... I was surprisingly nervous testing though. I did yesterday and got a negative so was a little down but knew it was early. Definitely a big difference with how sensitive of a test you use... Early response was clear today! (I've also had blighted ovum after a 3dt in the past where my betas were all over the place....) These groups are so great for sharing support and experiences, but at the same time I think everyone and every cycle is a little different!
Alright ladies, I cannot stop peeing. I feel like I have to go immediately after I use the restroom. I'm really hoping it's not a UTI. I have a call into my nurse and she's going to talk it over with the doctor, but holy hell this is annoying. I am drinking tons of fluids and I am only 1dp5dt so it is definitely not a symptom.

Might just be the amount of fluids you drink @takethelongway. I pee a lot too after IUI, ER, ET and FET (feel al fancy now I know the meaning of them abbreviations) I'm just not used to drinking as much (I'm a horrible drinker...like I forget) but am good at it now as it's not just me (or hope it's not just me!) so basically live in the bathroom and office restrooms!
The PIO upped my frequency... I even wake up between 3-4am now to go... This was early right after the transfer, too. Think it was a PIO symptom.. nothing more. Hope it's not a UTI!
@Piperella I hope so too! Last night I was up four times, but didn't really go much. This morning it has been nonstop, but I have actually been going. I'm waiting to hear back from the nurse.
