@skelly70 I was a crazy intense lurker on March 14 too!! It was my first time even reading online forums so I was so intimidated. On the plus side, I learned all the etiquette and lingo before I ever even jumped in.
@Bookhousegirl Excellent! That makes me feel much less awkward. That was a fun board. I kind of wish I had had the guts to jump in because my pregnancy ended up being high risk (incompetent cervix) and I could have used some support while I did my stint in bed rest.
I'm looking forward to this board getting a little more energy as we settle in. I'm a sucker for drama. My husband says I can never look away from a train wreck...this time I'm jumping in!
UO: I have a love/hate relationship with Tasty (on Facebook). Right now, being stuck inside the house due to winter storm Jonas, I can't just go to the grocery store to buy all the ingredients I need to make some of these things they post (i.e., pizza twists, chicken pot pie cups) yet they keep popping up in my feed (if not the actual page, people liking and sharing Tasty's videos). It also annoys me how easy they make things seem and the fact that I can't just grab them out of the screen and bring them to my face is even more annoying. Haha!!
If only it was as easy as the videos make it look. I always get sucked into watching those videos one after the other, then 30 minutes later I'm hungry with no groceries. Womp womp.
