Mexican. Hands down. I grew up with it, our go to lazy dinners are always burritos or tacos! And guacamole?! So delicious, so healthy, so EASY to make.
I honestly don't think I could ever choose. As a matter of fact, I had mexican for lunch and am having homemade chicken fettuccine alfredo for dinner. I LOVE me some mexican and italian.
January Siggy Challenge: Why I don't shop at Walmart
This is too easy. I love Italian food, but I could take or leave Mexican. I'm wondering if this is very regional. In the northeast there is way better Italian food (North End Boston, never giving it up) than Mexican.
@Lyette1206 I'm in southern Ontario. The grocery store near us used to have corn tortillas frozen in the gluten free section, but then they replaced them with rice flour tortillas. What kind of sense does that make?! If we go into Toronto we can get a lot of good Mexican stuff at those little stores in Kensington market, but were rarely up there now. Which grocery store carries them near you?
Why would you do this to us?!?! It's such a hard choice! I think I would pick Mexican for the simple fact of margaritas and chips and salsa/guacamole/queso!!!!
@veggiebabylove I'm in Toronto. Even the chains (like loblaws) have corn tortillas and enchilada sauce. Not a huge selection, but usually not too hard to find. There's one brand (can't remember the name) that makes more "authentic" style sauces that are pretty decent. But, I know that my mom can't always find them at the loblaws near her (outside of gta).
Oh man Loblaws didn't have that when we lived in Toronto! Or at least the one in our neighborhood didn't.
Whole foods does have that stuff, but the nearest one is in oakville. I feel like the GTA is kind of like a bubble and as soon as you leave it things change quickly haha.
