I went to my chiropractor yesterday for lower back pain (right side) that I've been having off and on for the past two months. She said the area I was describing is where the back of the pubic bone attaches to the spine. She did some adjustments on my back (uses a drop table with the middle part pulled up so my stomach never gets close to touching the table) and I feel so much better today. After doing some reading on the Webster Technique for pregnant women and some of the benefits, my plan is to stick with chiropractic care during my pregnancy.
Just wondering if anyone is doing the same, or has in the past. If you have used a chiropractor in your previous pregnancies, did you see any benefits during labor and delivery? I'm hoping for another pain med-free delivery so I might as well try things that might move things along a bit easier.
Re: Anyone seeing a chiropractor?
Currently I'm getting massages but it's not the same relief.
I was induced with DD and was hooked up to pitocin the whole time. Since it was my first, I had nothing to compare it to as far as pain level; I mean it hurt but I survived with no pain meds, and I would like to do the same for baby #2 if possible!

I saw a chiro my entire first pregnancy and loved it - always left feeling great and my back would definitely let me know when I was due for an adjustment. Although, despite best efforts (including chiro and acupuncture, and an external cephalic version at the end), my DD was breach... Stubborn girl!!
Still seeing one this time around!
