Anyone else feeling their baby kick yet? I have been feeling mine for about a week now. Im 16 weeks and 2 days today. Never felt a flutter though. Went straight to kicking.
It's not painful at all. Yet. The baby is still too small to be painful. I first noticed mine a week or so ago and it felt like a muscle twitch but quickly got stronger and more noticeable.
Are you all feeling flutters after being active or during restful periods? I thought I may have felt somethin yesterday after unloading my car from the weekend trip but I'm not sure!!!!
Yup. Yesterday. Flutters. I sat as still as I could and tried to make sure I wasn't crazy. Haha. It's a barely there feeling right now though. Kicks are the best. Until they get strong and you feel like they are using your cervix as a punching bag....
Can someone tell me what it feels like, because I think I feel something but how I want to describe it makes me sound like I'm having a weird panic attack in my stomach.
I'm 16+4 and no kicks or flutters for me, but the rolling around is driving me nuts. Just posted about it in symptoms- I have a baby who prefers the left, and at night in particular bulges out hard on the left. I can feel it sometimes sitting low or high or to the left. No idea what's wrong with the right, but it's empty and I never feel anything there... I second the requests for people to describe kicks! What do they feel like??
Have you ever held a bag of goldfish? The way you feel them through the bag as they bump against it is kinda what the baby feels like. It's like that against your insides instead of your hands.
I'm getting so antsy for that!! I'm 16+1 and at our last appt baby was measuring closer to a week ahead (so at this point almost 17w) and I've felt nothing. Come onnnnn baby!

Alright, going to the pet store and telling them to put some goldfish in a bag to let me hold for a while, then they can put them back. Do I tell them it's for science?
We buy goldfish to put in the pool for the ducks. Since they're 10 for a dollar, it's a nice treat. The kids find it fascinating. So I have held my fair share of bags of fish.
@MotherOfDucks we used to do that for DH's turtle in college. My Nephew also found it fascinating (me too!!). At the pet store they told us to get a crayfish to eat the algae that it would live in harmony with the turtle. That was not true and it was the ultimate fight to the death. Spoiler Alert: the turtle won.
At times during all of this I questioned my sanity.
Eta: on topic I am 16+4 and sadly have not felt anything either. I am also measuring over a week ahead. But I do have the front placenta so I am hoping to feel something by 23 weeks. which seems a life time away.

HAHAHA I am so embarrassed to say that I thought you meant goldfish crackers...and I have a bag here at school that I attempted to touch and only got more confused.... Nobel prize winner over here...

I love this! Ah pregnancy brain. Although now I want goldfish crackers....
That's exactly what mine felt like, I've been feeling mine about a week now, more and more every day. The first time it happened I was like "WTF WAS THAT" and got chills up my arms. It def. wasn't anything I'd felt before. I'm 17 weeks today, and felt mine Thursday before last for the first time. They actually are most active in the afternoons, not so much at night, but almost always after lunch while I'm at my desk I can feel them rolling around in there. It's so awesome.
To me it felt like an alien. That is the only way I can put it lol. You will definitely know when you're feeling full on kicks. I never really felt flutters but I felt full on kicks around 18 weeks and maybe a couple of days later my DH could feel it. It's awesome!
15 weeks tomorrow, and nothing yet! barely showing too..i feel like its still uterus bump. havent gained anything either. ARGH. i want to feel more pregnant as silly as that sounds lol. i do know all is good, i went and heard heartbeat last week...
I don't remember when I started feeling the flutters with my first. I'm 16w4d and have felt nothing so far. At this point in my last two pregnancies I've at least felt something....but nope, not this time. It's very aggravating and nerve wracking.
This is my second pregnancy and I've felt something going on for the past week. Today in court, I felt an actual knocking around in there and it actually made me jump. With my first pregnancy, it was a LONG time before I felt a thing.

You're not the only one...
I thought the same thing I rushed to get some goldfish crackers from my cupboard! Ha
Not feeling anything, I thought I was but I had a scan on Monday and it was moving around like crazy.....nothing, must have been gas. Also was told I have an anterior placenta so I won't be feeling anything for another 10 weeks or so. Gas and baby movement is very similar
I'm at 15 weeks, 3 days. I haven't felt anything yet, but I spend a lot of time laying there thinking, "Was that a thing? Did I feel a thing?? No... I didn't. Wait.. Was THAT a thing?" By the time I actually feel it, I'll probably still think it's in my head.
I'm 16w 2d. I've been feeling movement for about 2 weeks now. Today when I went to the doc, she looked for the heartbeat and she felt the baby move from outside. She said she'd never felt the baby that early or knew anyone who could feel the baby from the outside this early. I can only tell when I'm sitting or laying down and still.

I'll be 15 weeks on Friday and I'm overweight. So I've been told I won't feel anything until 20+ weeks. You ladies are lucky you can feel it so soon.
I am overweight as well, though I have twins, so that might contribute. It'll come! We really get the short end of the stick though, I'm not even showing yet. Just fat.
@DarkCat I think it is funny when they say over weight women will not feel it until later or at all. I wasn't aware that my uterus is impacted by my outside layer of fat. I started feeling movements at 15+4. My doctor told me I probably wouldn't feel movement until week 20+ as well.
@rakel88 no this is my third. So I know what to expect. Maybe that's why I felt it early? I also push on my tummy when I'm laying on my back and try to get baby to kick me. Haha maybe I'm a weirdo.
@juliagulia38 haha I push on mine too like "helloo isn't this so annoying??" but nothing.. I'll just keep waiting. I asked if it was your first because we are both 16+a few.
I've been feeling it for about a week (I'm 16 + 3). It's almost always at night, when I'm laying still in bed or taking a bath. Yesterday baby was going nuts in there when I was sitting in an armchair with my legs tucked up, it must have been rolling around.
I used @MotherOfDucks 's fish in a bag description to explain it to my husband and he looked SO uncomfortable. He was like DOES THAT HURT??!
Re: Strong baby!!
Does it hurt for you or does it just feel different
