It's so awkward when people ask about babies and you're standing there at 6 weeks pregnant trying to think of the appropriate way to respond that isn't lying nor telling.
Questions?
Is anyone else feeling like complete crap?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns?
I'm a little worried about the pregnant in summer thing but I live in CA so hopefully it's not too bad of a heat next year. September really tampers with work (I work at a school) so I have a lot of thinking to do around that. I've also been thinking about the "when to start your kid at school" thing since early September might have some caveats on the kiddo being oldest or youngest in class. Lots to think about while praying for a sticky baby bean!
How far along are you? EDD? I'm gonna go with the us even tho the nurse didn't specifically say so 6+2 9/9
How are you feeling? Exhausted
Doing anything baby related today? Telling my mom.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: why do I have to be so damn tired!?! I have far too much to do and no energy to do any of it.
Questions? Anyone else just want to go back to bed? @mom2adoodle I don't do much feel like crap so much add I just want to sleep.
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns?
TW My first bfp was supposed to be 9/15/15 and I lost my little guppy with a mmc at almost 12w. The edd for this baby is really really close and its very tough dealing with the parallels. Not only that but having 3 confirmed losses anyways so I'm just an emotional wreck about pregnancy all together. I really want to enjoy this pregnancy but so far I'm just scared and find myself waiting for the bad news instead of enjoying the good.
How are you feeling? Eh. I've stopped spotting but have had constant cramping for three days. My boobs are super sore but less nauseous than yesterday, burping is down too.
Doing anything baby related today? No. Well I took another test this morning because I'm crazy. I told H and he gave me the why look.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: It's snowing which is both a rave and rant lol. I'm glad I have this long weekend after getting my BFP.
I'm still so nervous, today would be the start of AF. I'm still expecting for this all to be over the next time I use the restroom.
I haven't told my mom which is very unlike me. She can have a bad habit of when trying to make you feel better overdoing it and not being practical like it might not work out and end up making you feel worse. With actual problems where something can be done she is amazing! My BFF knows and she has been amazing, she has been the person above everyone else (sorry H ) that knows just how to handle things.
Questions? I know no one has a magic crystal ball but how worried should I be about the constant cramps?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I feel like if I poo poo it I'll jinx myself. H just told me our deductible plan's calendar start over date is Oct 1. So, looks like we will meet this year's a day or two before it then meet it again right away I'm guessing. I was young for my grade and loved it and don't know if I like future LO being the oldest.
How far along are you? EDD? 5w6d How are you feeling? Nothing different except more tired, cramping continues
Doing anything baby related today? Bump
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I forgot how amazing NYC is. I was there last night to celebrate my 30th with friends and it was just an amazing time
Questions? When does the cramping end !
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? I think it's perfect. I'm going back for my BSN so I'll be done with one class and starting the next when im due. It's great timing . Also when I'm off work for 6 months that puts me right through all my favorite holidays : )
How are you feeling? Pretty nauseated off and on in the mornings and evenings. I never actually throw up, just feel like I have a cross between a vicious hangover and a stomach flu every day. I am managing with unisom and B6 and just wishing I could fast forward the next few weeks. Over it.
Doing anything baby related today? I consider trying to function through all this nausea totally baby related.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: taking DD to a neat local event downtown this afternoon. Every Sunday in January a local music venue has a little kid friendly concert and have games and activity corners set up for the kids. It's a really fun way to get DD out of the house during the cold weather. Also very excited to be sitting in for auditions tonight for a play I am stage managing/co directing. Glad I already committed to this a month ago, because if I hadn't there is no way I would be trying to take any projects on right now the way I am feeling. Hoping I can muscle through it because I've really been looking forward to it. Normally I am onstage so it will be a whole new aspect of theater I get to experience.
Questions? No
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I am excited. It's actually the only month that no one in our families had a birthday so this LO gets that month all to itself. September is also one of my favorite months because of the perfect weather. Also excited to get to go swimming during 3rd trimester.
How are you feeling? Good right now? Nauseous in the evening for sure.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
Raves/Rants/Randoms: anyone see Revenant yet? It made me so sick to my stomach at points.
Questions? nope
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I'm actually excited for the Sept baby to be oldest in their class. I'm just worried that they may end up being an August baby. I'm refusing cervical checks at the end till we hit 9/1. Last time, after my first check my water broke that night 3 wks early. Even though they say those checks do nothing, I'm going to avoid till the end.
How are you feeling? Great since it's the morning and I feel horrible most evenings
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
Raves/Rants/Randoms: My DH is so sick, I spent the night at my parents to hopefully avoid it.
Questions? Nope
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I've learned our schooling system works different in Canada. The oldest child in the class would be born in Jan and the youngest in Dec. I'm worried about birthday parties being at the start of the school year and navigating through who to invite when he is younger.
How are you feeling? A little tired, very late night out last night at Madonna concert. Sore, heavy boobs.
Doing anything baby related today? Just TB
Raves/Rants/Randoms: Why would you start a concert at 2230!! Thats just wayyy too late, i dont care if she is Madonna.
Questions? Was anyone utterly terrified with their first? Yesterday morning i was just so overly emotional thinking about EVERYTHING, is this good for me, can i do this, whats going to happen, and the likes. So overwhelming.
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Im alright with September, i am thinking if the little creeper is anything like me, itll probably show up in August. I was an early baby. But here in Indiana, school cut offs are in summer, june-july. So not worried about cutoff, he or she will be one of the older kids in class, which is good, more time to mature. Also Labor Day baby... Kind of fitting, ya? Lol
Doing anything baby related today? Bumping and also cleaning since I am worried I will get hit with morning sickness in the next week or so and won't feel like doing it (the deep bathroom cleaning, etc)
Raves/Rants/Randoms: Every time I say I am tired or don't feel well, my DH says he is tired or doesn't feel great for X reason. It is almost devaluing that I am feeling things because I am pregnant. I tried to address it with him and he seemed to understand but he just did it again! Sigh. I have asked him to do a little reading so he gets why I am hormonal/tired/etc. I feel like he doesn't respect that this is not ordinary everyday feelings. I know I am whining but this is going to be a long pregnancy if I don't feel a little TLC or empathy from him. Haha
Questions? Anyone else have a rant like mine?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I am actually pretty stoked. Fall is my favorite season so I am excited to be off work then to enjoy it with our little one. Also, I went to Michigan and my DH went to Michigan State so our pregnancy reveal will most likely revolve around our baby being the tie-breaker that will arrive just in time for football season.
Married: 3/21/15 First time mom to a human but have been a puppy mamma for over 12 years
How are you feeling? Tired. I still don't want to eat much, except late at night when I want to eat a ton. Nausea comes and hangs out with me in the afternoon. I keep crying at random things, which makes me laugh at myself, so that's fun. My nipples have been hurting a lot the last couple days. Not my boobs, just nipples. Weird.
Doing anything baby related today? Reading my Mayo Clinic book and Ina May's Guide to Childbirth
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I miss all the long lists of personalized responses that happen in the TWW and WTO threads on TTGP. I felt like they really added a lot to the sense of community there, so I'm going to give it a try here. Anyone else who has the time and energy want to join in?
Questions? Not today
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? My DH was actually hoping for a September baby (while I was hoping for an any time baby). Studies have shown that fall babies do better athletically and in school, partly because they're older than their peers and partly all the vitamin D we're going to soak up in our third trimesters. Yay for September super babies! I'm not sure how I'll feel about the heat when I'm huge, but I'm looking forward to wearing flowy dresses and not having to worry about pants.
@mom2adoodle I worry about people asking me too. I'm physically unable to lie. My face always does something weird and gives it away. I'm just crossing my fingers no one asks me
@tigerfish227 I want to sleep all the time! I've been taking lots of naps and going to bed around 8 or 9
@jhems776 This is embarrassing, but I still POAS every few days just to make sure that second line still looks the same. I only have about 10 more though so there is an end in sight... How bad are the cramps? From what I've read they're normal as long as they're not accompanied by bleeding (your uterus is expanding and stretching the ligaments around it), but it wouldn't hurt to call your doctor and ask
@Tporcelli526 Yay for getting your BSN! I am assuming there's only one kind of BSN here so correct me if I'm way off, are you doing an RN to BSN program or is this a new field for you?
@TheTamedShrew That concert sounds fantastic! I'm sorry you're feeling so icky
@backoffunicorn I haven't seen The Revenant, but I did watch The Hateful Eight last night and had to cover my eyes for parts of it. I was thankful that baby doesn't have ears yet.
@StellaStan I feel great in the mornings too and then get worse as the day goes on (except late at night when the nausea goes away and I get super hungry). Poor DH, I hope you don't get sick!
@Kimmy717 I have occasional periods of terror, like how on earth am I going to raise a child!? Why did we decide to do this!? I panic for a couple minutes and then it goes away. I try to remind myself that we'll figure it out, family will help, it will all be ok
@blondie080300 I have been cleaning our toilets frequently in case MS shows up so I don't have to vomit in a dirty toilet! That sounds really frustrating about your DH not recognizing your pregnancy changes. I like your idea about having him read up on what's going on with you. I had my DH download the Ovia app so he can read about what's going on with baby's development and my body. Good luck and hugs to you!

How far along are you? EDD? 6 weeks 6 days according to Pregnancy Center app
How are you feeling? ok today, burps definitely seem to be worse depending on what I eat, when I eat, nauseated at times
Doing anything baby related today? this is it
Raves/Rants/Randoms: just glad i'm off tomorrow......I'm liking the new position I've been training for, but its almost more than I was looking for. Its a hard place to be because I hated my old job so badly but I'm overwhelmed with new position and there is more to learn and more tasks to be added to my plate. I'm also working 9 hour days on average, not including my 45 minute commute time each way. Those are long days. i'm feeling like I can't work out because of night classes i'm in right now as well and I really want to have a healthy pregnancy overall and be able to work out. Getting anxious for our first appointment next week. I feel like if we make it that far we have made big progress.
Questions?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns; Summer will be hot, but we have a little pool that we are going to set up in our back yard so that will help. Will be nice because I'll go back to work for a little bit and then we'll have time off for thanksgiving and Christmas, so I'm ok with September.
@jhems776- Woo hoo!! Congrats!! So glad to see you here! I don't remember being overly crampy when we first found out but the burping was seriously ridiculous. And I got constipated with in the first week I think? And I don't think you are crazy to keep taking tests. We took tests for 3 days after our 1st BFP. I took a test yesterday! Ha ha ha....but- I had been "gifted' 10 Wondfo's by another member of this board when I first joined. So I just had them. It's snowing here too! And i'm on toilet paper and toilet bowl check EVERYTIME I go to the bathroom. I've heard/read the cramping is normal. There are a lot of things moving around already in your body, so some cramping is normal. Now if its severe cramping or heavier cramping like period cramps or there is blood associated it, not just brown spotting, that is when you want to make sure you call your dr right away. Also, when I called the dr to call to make my first appointment, they had said I could go in for a blood test if I was having any issues or concerns. I tried to use that card 2 weeks ago just because, but they didn't see any need. Which really, as much as the burps are super annoying, it's the best sign that this is going the way its supposed too. And the queasiness. It's hard not to be anxious for sure, but I've been so busy at work and with my night classes I honestly have forgotten except with the addition of the queasiness this week.
@TheTamedShrew- have you tried calling your dr? I called mine on Friday and they called something in for me immediately. I'd call them if you haven't.
@blondie080300- that is a bummer about DH saying he doesn't feel well or has a headache or whatever. I just started having some queasiness this week and my DH was saying just ignore it, talk yourself out of it, don't let yourself feel it. not quite that easy. I think he's starting to get it though a little more now because he knows I haven't been able to eat some of the stuff I normally would and have been eating saltines like they are the best thing ever. Hope that will change some for you!! The pregnancy center app has some great pictures and info on it about what's going on inside you right now, maybe show him that?
How far along are you? EDD? -6w4d... September 7th.
How are you feeling? -been on declegis for 5 days and I still can barely function. Just trying to make it day to day. Ultrasound is this Friday!
Doing anything baby related today? -nope
Raves/Rants/Randoms: -my mom came up for the weekend and did my dishes, cleaned, and entertained my 4 yr old!! I went to bed at 5:30pm and slept until 8:30!!!
Questions? - @Kimmy717 where in Indiana are you located? I'm in Indiana too!
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? - I'm "Meh" about it. Not super excited about being 9m pregnant in the dead of summer or the whole school thing either but after a loss a few months back I don't even care about any of it.
How far along are you? EDD? 7 wks 3 days, Sept 1st
How are you feeling? Pretty tired most of the time, breast soreness is there, but not bad til the evening, and I pee every hour. Yesterday was the first day I really felt crummy. I felt kind of dizzy ask day, like toy do when you're hungry, but I was eating all day
Doing anything baby related today?maybe some reading!
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I don't want to do anything today. But I have so much to do uuuugh
Questions? If I forget my prenatals 1 night should I double up the next day or just say screw it? I take them before bed and I missed last night
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I love the September birthday, and so does my DH. It's our anniversary in September, and my DH birthday. He loved having a Sept birthday. Not stoked about being 9 months pregnant in summer, but they aren't too harsh here usually
@zrain The cramps are pretty dull most of the time and sometimes get a bit worse but never truly painful.
@MNturnsVA Ahhh! I took a couple week bump break and missed your BFP. So glad to see this is where you are. Hearing others aways check while using the restroom so makes me feel less odd. That is an annoying anxiety filled habit I hope I can break. I think I will at least call the doc tomorrow, I spotted light pink Friday and part of yesterday.
@zrain yes u got it. I'm going for my Rn to BSN It's been a long time coming and I want to stick with it even tho I know it's gonna be super hard to continue with it during the pregnancy
How are you feeling? Crummy. Just nauseous. We had our nephews overnight and played and laughed until about 1am! I'm tired and was worried this morning when I woke up and wasn't nauseous. Sure enough, the nausea came back whith breakfast.
Doing anything baby related today? Not really.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I'm alternating between hating being nauseous and loving it because I know it's because I'm pregnant The symptoms are not easy to deal with (pregnancy has messed up my IBS) but it's so worth it. We saw a HB on Friday and I'm still paranoid that something will go wrong any minute. Trying to stay hopeful!
Questions? Not today.
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Not really. I was a November baby and the school I went to didn't really bother with the cutoff so I was always the youngest but I was fine in school. Not all school programs are the same though and I really wouldn't mind keeping my LO for another year before kindergarten. I'm excited about being pregnant in summer actually. I know I'll be super hot but I'll manage and will be able to wear dresses I'm constantly terrified of slipping on ice outside so I'm ready for winter to end.
@jhems776 I had constant cramps when I was that far along. They've gotten better now, though. I've read that many women have no clue they're pregnant because cramps are sooo common around the time your period is due. I had spotting at around 4w4d and went in for an ultrasound and my doctor said anytime you have blood in there, your uterus is going to contract to push it out and you'll feel cramps. The spotting started as brown and the day after the next it was red and I had cramps so I was sure I was out. The spotting stopped that same day and has not come back! The cramping cleared out almost completely within a couple of weeks. I still get cramps off and on but I know it's completely normal as the uterus expands. Something that a lot of people are mistaken about is that implantation bleeding can happen up to 5w (and even further along if the blood stays pooled on your cervix). The baby's implantation process is long, it first implants from 6-12 dpo but it "digs" deeper for up to 1-2 weeks later when settling and this can cause bleeding. I wouldn't worry unless you're bleeding heavily with clots. I'd still call the doctor just in case (if you haven't).
How are you feeling? Good so far, my boobs are very sore though
Doing anything baby related today? No
Raves/Rants/Randoms: this is our first and I'm still in shock!
Questions?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? My brother was born in September so I think it will be cool for them to share a bday month.
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom Thank you for telling me your story, I'm feeling more calm about it now. Also, I'm with you being excited to wear dresses in the third tri. I love how a bump looks in a long dress.
How far along are you? 6 was 5 days EDD? 9/6 How are you feeling? Pretty awesome! A little groggy when I go too long without eating, but that's not new for me. I also just experienced my first bit of sciatic pain in my butt and holy discomfort. Found a nice stretch to alleviate it, thank god! Doing anything baby related today? Bump, Mayo Clinic, prepping for our first appointment this Friday (yay!!) Oh, and I told my sister this afternoon Raves/Rants/Randoms: Umm, not that I can think of! Oh, @TheTamedShrew I keep meaning to comment, I'm super into theatre too! While musical theatre is more up my alley, I've done a few plays here and there!
Questions? Don't think so.
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I'm feeling awesome about September! Excited about maxi dresses and swimming inthe third (like some of the ladies already said) The only concern is making sure there's enough birthday cake to go around because baby is due 4 days after my birthday Best birthday present ever!!
How are you feeling? Sick!!! & Lazy. I don't want to eat ANYTHING. And the metal taste in my mouth is driving me insane. (likely intensified by the amount of metal in my mouth due to braces.)
Doing anything baby related today? I did some research and browsed online for baby items I would like to buy.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: We got rid of the vast majority of our baby items as #2 out grew them, so I have nothing for baby and need to start over. I keep looking for used baby items online thinking I'll get a good deal, but people are asking for close to sale price for their used items. I can hardly believe how high the prices are. Oh well, lots of time to keep browsing. I'm always looking for a good deal!
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I really wanted a Sept baby. I've talked about it since we were trying for #2. So I'm very excited! Can't wait to be pregnant in the summer and let my bump hang out! Instead of trying to squeeze a huge bump in a winter jacket!
How are you feeling? My nausea comes in waves...My boobs (my nipples really) hurt soooo much...
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
R/R/R? @blondie080300 my husband does the same thing...so annoying! Just let me be pregnant and complain about it!!!
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Well considering my first is a September baby, this is nothing new. Their due dates are a day apart...my first was born late though (9/17) and this one will come early because we are doing a RCS. I'm a little bummed my daughter will get a little jipped for her bday this year...hopefully we can still make it special for her
Not on purpose. I was at toys r us so I took a peek at the cheap baby trend eclipse double stroller. I didn't like it. I've been spoiled by my baby jogger
Raves/Rants/Randoms:
First midwife appt is Thursday!
Questions?
None
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns?
Sept isn't the kindergarten cut off here so a September makes no difference for what year a kid will start school. I'm pretty impartial I guess. My birthday is in the winter and I always thought I wanted my kids to have summer birthdays but then my husband pointed out that it's hard to have parties when your friends are on vacation. So I guess September is the best of both worlds?
Anyone else obsessed with ice cream bars right now?! Fudgecicles and the classic vanilla with chocolate. Give me all of them. And I don't even usually eat ice cream. Nom
How far along are you? EDD? 5ish weeks, due 9/14 so whatever that is
How are you feeling? Fine! NO symptoms. It's so weird.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope. My husband is working a 16 hour shift so all toddler related.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: being alone all day with my maniac toddler is rough
Questions? Nope
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Not looking forward to being so pregnant in the heat. My daughter is a March baby so I avoided summer pregnancy. Also, would prefer for this baby to not be born on 9/11 :-/
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I got tired a bit early today, boobs are a bit sore, all the smells.
Doing anything baby related today? Not really.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: Husband and I are trying to find a time to tell our families in person. But between pre-planned events, it doesn't look like we will have a free weekend to travel until weeks 11 and 12. I hoped to tell family sooner, but we really want to do it in person. I had planned to announce publically at 12 weeks, so that will be pushed back too.
Questions? --
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Like others, I've been thinking about the school thing. I was the oldest (Nov birthday) and I liked it. September is also my husband's busiest time at work, which has me a little nervous. Each year he's super stressed during that time and working crazy long days. I feel a bit bad that this year he will have even more going on with a baby.
@zrain - I didn't know that Sept babies were better atheletes. Cool stat! @Sdswenson - I wouldn't double up. I'd just take one tonight and not worry about it. @AlwaysAuntNeverMom@jhems776@mali0902 - I'm also looking forward to wearing long dresses with a big bump! I'm totally going to live in maxi dresses come summer!

How far along are you? EDD? 5 weeks today; EDD is 09/19
How are you feeling? So far so good. Very light nausea just a few times a day (mainly after I eat breakfast). I have a large chest (an ample DD cup) so my boobs are very sore, though my nipples are very sensitive.
Doing anything baby related today? No. I'm trying to get a few other home projects out of the way before I launch into full baby mode.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I've noticed a lot of people mention their different "levels". I was on fertility meds for one cycle, but I've never had any levels check. My doctor isn't even seeing me until 7 weeks. Am I missing something?
Questions?
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I'm excited for a Sept. due date. I'm a teacher, so I'll be able to go in for one day to keep my benefits and then take off the next three months (thank you Family Medical Leave and having the foresight to get AFLAC years ago), which is extended to four by Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.
@Tporcelli526 That is hard work, especially pregnant! You are awesome!!
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom I feel the same way with going back and forth between tired of feeling icky and enjoying feeling pregnant
@mali0902 I have SI joint dysfunction that causes pain in my piriformis/gluteal muscles, which I hear tends to get worse in pregnancy. My physical therapist is ordering me a sacroiliac belt that helps hold the joint in place. It was actually recommended to him by another PT who wore one when she was pregnant, and you can get an extender for when you get bigger. I don't know if your sciatic pain is caused by the SI joint, but just an idea!

@PSUBecky23 If I could choose I would avoid a 9/11 baby too. I think I'm due 9/12. Obviously if I get to choose these kinds of things there are way more important things I'd choose, like a healthy baby for example!

@PSUBecky23 If I could choose I would avoid a 9/11 baby too. I think I'm due 9/12. Obviously if I get to choose these kinds of things there are way more important things I'd choose, like a healthy baby for example!
Of course! But if I could choose a healthy baby, as well as, a non-9/11 birthday, I would! I'm due 9/14 on some calculators and 9/11 on others. I'm sticking with 9/14 and hoping this baby is two weeks early like my daughter
How are you feeling? Pretty good, get nauseous when hungry and a little afraid to eat, but always feel better with a bite or two. EXHAUSTED.. but my 1 year old is congested and noisy all night so that doesn't help. And a bit crampy here and there, but also work out so hard to tell what's what
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
Raves/Rants/Randoms: My MIL is here for a few days, I've never been so happy to be at work on a Monday Questions? nope
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? Fantastic! I have a Sept 30 birthday and it's my favorite month, hoping to share it with a little one. My 1 year old is a December baby and having a baby in the winter in Maine was not easy - we had to stay inside for the most part and getting out and some fresh air would have been great for my mentality. Fall is amazing, looking forward to baby being a few months old before the real cold hits!
How are you feeling? A little crappy. I think I am coming down with something. My throat is mostly bothering me and a constant headache.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
Raves/Rants/Randoms: @mom2adoodle I was getting are you going to have a third a ton this weekend. I just say that we are thinking about more kids, but I really just want to blurt it out. It seems like they never ask this question until you are actually pregnant and don't want to say anything yet.
Questions? Nope
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? We were hoping for a summer baby, but I also really love fall. One thing that will be nice is that we will no longer have to make a decision on school. Baby will automatically be one of the oldest which I was too and really enjoyed it.
How are you feeling? Aside from a sore throat and cold I've had the past couple days...not too bad. The weird dreams and insomnia have gone away. Able to sleep through the night again.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: My husband has been extremely wonderful with me. Although the sleeping bug has DEFINITELY bit him! He is sleeping more than me.
Questions? Is it normal to loose weight in the first trimester? I've cleaned up my diet a bit and I've lost 3 pounds this week.
GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I'm also a September baby, September 30! I was always the older one in class, but I seemed to like it growing up. I think the quicker I can have the baby in school, the better! Lol
@mrsjsantana I believe the answer to your question is yes as long as it's not too much....I know I lost weight with my daughter in 1st Tri because all I wanted to eat was lettuce...my doctor was thrilled! Every situation is different, I'm just sharing mine...
@mrsjsantanaLike PP said, every situation is different but I, too, lost weight during the first trimester with DD and again this time around. With DD, the few pounds I lost wasn't even noted/mentioned by the doctor as an issue (I was at a healthy weight prior but still just lost a bit because of the nausea/lack of appetite). This time around, I was scolded a bit for my weight loss. Again, I was a healthy weight when starting but the nausea/lack of appetite has been worse and I lost 11 pounds between 12/17 (my yearly exam) and 1/13 (my first OB appointment). The doctor wasn't alarmed, just told me I needed to figure out a way to eat more. I've been working on it. Haven't gained back anything I lost but haven't lost any more, either, so that's good. Talk to your doctor about your specific situation (weight prior to pregnant, total weight lost, etc) if you would like.
@backoffunicorn, excellent excellent EXCELLENT movie! Honestly I can't rave enough about it. Definitely see it in theaters because the lighting and scenery is just awesome. It's pretty violent and hard to watch at times, but it wasn't overblown and just there for shock value, it was part of the story. The acting was just incredible. I am a HUGE Tom Hardy fan, but Leo blew it out of the water.
eta: never mind, I'm a dummy. I just saw your original post and apparently you already saw it. Well, at least you know my review of it, ha!

Probably not, just TB!
Raves/Rants/Randoms:

My first bfp was supposed to be 9/15/15 and I lost my little guppy with a mmc at almost 12w.
Raves/Rants/Randoms:
It's snowing which is both a rave and rant lol.

GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I am excited. It's actually the only month that no one in our families had a birthday so this LO gets that month all to itself. Even though they say those checks do nothing, I'm going to avoid till the end.

Lol
How are you feeling? Pretty good today

Raves?

GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I love the September birthday, and so does my DH. It's our anniversary in September, and my DH birthday. He loved having a Sept birthday. Not stoked about being 9 months pregnant in summer, but they aren't too harsh here usually
How are you feeling? Crummy. Just nauseous. We had our nephews overnight and played and laughed until about 1am! I'm tired and was worried this morning when I woke up and wasn't nauseous. Sure enough, the nausea came back whith breakfast.
Doing anything baby related today? Not really.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I'm alternating between hating being nauseous and loving it because I know it's because I'm pregnant
Questions?
I know I'll be super hot but I'll manage and will be able to wear dresses

GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? I'm feeling awesome about September! Excited about maxi dresses and swimming inthe third (like some of the ladies already said) The only concern is making sure there's enough birthday cake to go around because baby is due 4 days after my birthday

But between pre-planned events, it doesn't look like we will have a free weekend to travel until weeks 11 and 12. I hoped to tell family sooner, but we really want to do it in person. I had planned to announce publically at 12 weeks, so that will be pushed back too.

GTKY: How are you feeling about a September due date? Raves? Concerns? We were hoping for a summer baby, but I also really love fall. How are you feeling? Aside from a sore throat and cold I've had the past couple days...not too bad. The weird dreams and insomnia have gone away. Able to sleep through the night again.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope
Lol
eta: never mind, I'm a dummy. I just saw your original post and apparently you already saw it. Well, at least you know my review of it, ha!
