Re: TWW Saturday
CD/DPO: 29 / 13
Timing: -5, -4, -3, -2, +1, +2
Testing Plans: Waiting for AF... or Tuesday if she hasn't shown. I got a BFN yesterday, so I was planning on saving my other test. But of course my body knows we are officially TTC this month so it just has to mess with my mind...

Of course I saw the rise and I thought about testing again. I was debating whether to wait till Sunday because I know the hormones double every two days. So I got on Amazon, and decided to order my Wondfos and a few CBE tests as well, so I can just use one if by some strange reason AF hasn't arrived yet... so I went ahead and used my last test and got another BFN today.
R/R/CS: See above. Rave: I finished my OSHA 30 Certificate yesterday!!! That was a great thing to get my mind off TTC for the day, plus I helped DH paint the box truck since the weather is still so mild here. Hoping the finish won't be ruined because it did start to drizzle overnight, but it's still gotta be better than it was.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I've only done a little traveling, and I've never been to Europe, but I think I would love to live in a quiet little village in Germany, or maybe Italy - but I think in Italy it's maybe better to be in the city. There is so much classical singing that still goes on in Germany, it's just not like it is here in America with Idol. Even small towns still have opera theatres where a decent singer can just have a standing house gig that actually pays the bills!! That would be the dream. Plus I speak more German than I do even Italian, (or French, but we won't talk about that), so that would make it easier to adjust to fitting in among the locals.

Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 35/12
Timing: -2, -1, O
Testing Plans: 3 different squinters this morning. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.
R/R/CS: one 88 cent WalMart test with a dye run, one Kroger test that was confusing to read, and one curved FRER shadow that I don't trust. AF is two days late and I have exactly zero symptoms - yesterday's cramps and bloating are gone. I told DH and we are choosing to believe it's a BFN until we get a real, solid line. I'll be over here testing every 5 minutes until then.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I oscillate between my love for my current city and wishing I were back in NYC.

R/R/CS: temp jump today. Alllllll the symptom spotting. I am ashamed of the things I have googled in the last few days.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I really enjoyed living in Chicago. But I would loooooove to live in a little town in Italy. Or on the beach somewhere.
Edit: fingers crossed @LINDSEYRVA!
FX @LINDSEYRVA!! Where did you live in NYC? I lived there for close to 7 years before DH and I were married.

Month/Cycle: 5/4 (1 NTNP, 2 TTCAL)
CD/DPO: 28/12
Timing: -5,-4,-2,-1,O
Testing Plans: BFNs all over the place
R/R/CS: My temps had been steadily dropping since 8 DPO which normally doesn't happen until CD 1. I had a small spike today and felt hopeful, but nah. A small amount of spotting had me worried last night that AF was going to come early and shorten my LP. It was 13 days for the past 3 cycles so I'm hoping if its coming soon it can at least hold off until tomorrow. A 12 day LP feels better to me than 11 although I know both are considered normal.
Also, what is with this damn virus in the Caribbean? I'm so bummed about maybe having to skip this next cycle since we're going on a cruise next month. It's probably for the best because if we got lucky, I would getting on the boat at like 5 weeks which is when I should be getting betas and whatnot. On the upside, if my cycle stays on track, I should be in my FW on vacation so that will be a wine filled BD-Fest!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
I studied abroad in Florence and then did a short internship with an Opera company right after college. I lived in an apartment right on the Arno about a block from the Ponte Vecchio, I got up every morning and got a pastry and a coffee and jumped on a trolly to the theater. It was my dream come true. If I could live anywhere, it would be there again except this time I would live with DH and not 5 other recent college grads. lol

R/R/CS: I am still feeling really good about TTCAL, which I thought by now I would be freaking out about every little "symptom" I might be having/feeling. I guess it is just because I am not gonna be super upset if we are not pregnant this cycle...I am just really trying to maintain a positive attitude...but I know that getting pregnant is going to be the hard part it will hard when I do get pregnant again.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Ok I have two. I would love to Iive in England. We went there for our honeymoon and I fell in love. My stepmother in law is from Wales and she and my FIL are planning on moving back there in a few years, so we would have family there.
My other choice would be Montana. I would love to a bunch of land with some water on it and animals. I think Montana is just one of the most beautiful states!

Month/Cycle: 7/6
CD/DPO: 23/7 or 8
Timing: Either -5, -2, O or -3, -1, +1. Meh.
Testing Plans: I will not test. I will not test. I will not test.
R/R/CS: I've been so chill about not testing and then when I woke up this morning and realized I'm potentially 8 DPO, my brain started doing crazy things. Holding strong though, especially since all I have are curved handle FRER and I don't trust them early at all!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? Hmmm.. In the US, if it wouldn't mean bring across the country from my family, I would move to Portland, OR. DH and I went there last spring and fell in love instantly. Abroad, I would probably go with either Paris or Barcelona -- both of those cities are two that made me feel instantly at home when I visited them. You know when you go somewhere and it just feels like home? Maybe that's weird, but both of those cities just put me at ease and made me feel so happy.
CD/DPO: 18/5
Timing: -4, -1, 0, +1
Testing Plans: 1/24 unless I have certain odd symptoms
R/R/CS: ugh my chart is all over the place. I keep waking up around 4/430 when my usual temp time is 530. Of course I don't really fall back asleep between so I have a ton of open circles.
GTKY: I like where I live and I wouldn't change it.
I tried making my chart smaller but couldn't figure it out.
- BFP: 3/10/16 — Baby Girl born 11/20/16
TTC#2 April 2019Month/Cycle: 4/4 (9/10)
CD/DPO: 26/14
Timing: -1,0,1
Testing Plans: don't know anymore, probably wait for af
R/R/CS: My temps have been too rocky for me to think I have a bfp this month. I have some unusual symptoms that I'm going crazy over, not regular af symptoms, but my temps and a few days of light spotting off and on have me thinking it's not our month.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
I do love my town, but if I could be anywhere, I would be in a city where I was within walking distance of everything. I love the city life. I always wished I had done a year or two teaching abroad, probably in Italy.
CD/DPO: 19/5
Timing: -4, -2, -1, 0
Testing Plans: still unsure, but 10DPO at the earliest (1/21)
R/R/CS: I think I will order some Wondfos today, but part of me is still saying "don't spend the money!" Can anyone tell me how long Wondfos are good for before they expire? Because if I do get KU and have extras, I would feel better about it if I knew I could save them for the next time I'm TTC. But I'm a little doubtful they would last a few years...
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
On a tropical island, preferably a private one that is still close to the mainland so I can be social if I want to.
@LINDSEYRVA FX for darker lines!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 21/7
Timing: ED during FW
Testing Plans: 12 DPO if I can make it.
R/R/CS: Our Dane puppy was so adorable this morning. She has her own room and bed, but she came into my room around 4:30am and crawled under the conforter into bed between DH and I to snuggle.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
I couldn't pick just one place. I would love to travel the world and visit every country. I enjoy visiting new places, trying new things, and experiencing other cultures. Plus the history is so rich and diverse!
@BusinessWife congrats on the certification! That's awesome!
@MRSCORKER that sucks about Zika maybe affecting your TTC plans. It's a really scary sounding situation. I hope it doesn't make it to the rest of the country, and that the Carribean infestations blow over quickly.
CD/DPO: 21/6
Month/Cycle: 1
Timing: -1
Testing plans: Tuesday, then at missed period
R/R/CS: Beginning to symptom spot like a pro, even though my logical brain knows it's too early for symptoms. My temp keeps going up, presumably just to mess with me. I'm also feeling the grouchiness that normally comes the week before AF. I was happy with our timing but it's only once so could be better.
GTKY: Crazy, dreaming answer to this question is New Zealand.
@MRSCORKER keep following the CDC guidelines and consider talking to your obgyn. Don't know where specifically you are going but I know TTA or cancelling trip are both not awesome. Hope you can get it figured out.
Month/cycle: 7/7
CD: 26/9
Timing: -5/4/3/2/O
Testing plans: none
R/R/CS: Just waiting for the date of my expected period to see what happens. I slept great last night bc I decided to skip temping the rest of tww
GTKY: if I could live anywhere in the real world it would be near to my parents with a lake house where my husband and I both have at least equivalent jobs to what we have now. We've tried to move nearer to them before but the job market is hard for both our career fields. In an imaginary world where money is no object and all my family would also obviously be close by we would live somewhere fabulous and beachy in the winter and somewhere fabulous and lake-y in the summer.
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 25/9
Timing: -2, -1, 1
Testing Plans: I did say next Friday but I've been on FF looking at charts like mine and I've been fighting the temptation to start POAS
R/R/CS: Holy temp spike! I don't trust it anyway. I had to temp earlier this morning than my usual time because I woke up to use the bathroom. I still got my solid 4 hours of sleep.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
I would love to live somewhere tropical, warm weather all year around. I'm tried of the cold weather already, enough is enough.

R/R/CS: [edit--trigger thumb hit post button to early] Last month was the first month I ovulated and my LP was 12 days. My temps have been dropping the last few days so right now I'm just curious to see if my LP will be 12 days again. I'm really happy to have O'd on CD19, even though I wasn't really expecting it so didn't have as great of timing as I would have liked. Now I can be more prepared next month and overall my cycle is dramatically shorted from previous 3 cycles.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? My in-laws live in San Diego and it's beautiful. I wouldn't mind moving my parents out there so we could leave this Illinois cold.

Testing Plans: BFN again this morning
R/R/CS: I have all the PMS symptoms, but my temp went back up slightly this morning, so I tested. For my two ovulatory cycles that I've charted before this one, my LP has been 12 and 9 days; however, I'm not super comfortable with my O date in the 9 day one, so I'm thinking it's closer to 11-12. I'll test again tomorrow if my temp doesn't fall, but I'm really expecting AF later today or tomorrow.
In other news, I'm super excited for my three day weekend!
GTKY: anywhere on the beach!
**TW**
Testing with RE October 2016
BFP 11/5/2016 ~ EDD 7/19/2016
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 39/6
Timing: -1
Testing Plans: I'd like to wait for missed AF, I'm early in my TWW yet so we will see how crazy I get
R/R/CS: it's the weekend!!!!!!!! I'm just hoping this TWW flys by now. I am a little concerned about my long cycle, I feel like I won't know when to time BD next month because I O'd so late. It's not all that easy HIO for a full month lol!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Maybe Germany, my friend lives there and I miss her everyday. I've also always had a secret desire to live in SanFransisco... I blame it on Full House
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 27/14
Timing: good
Testing Plans: I've tested 4 days in a row because I'm crazy... And I'm two days late (I have a 12 day LP). Idk what's up.
R/R/CS: I am a little frustrated about being late with no BFP, but it's okay. I told hubby this morning what's going on so when he sees two empty boxes of preg tests in the trash he doesn't get any ideas.
**question** Anyone know if I can be two days late with BFNs and still get a BFP? If AF continues to not show, how long do I give it before testing again? I know 14 days isn't abnormal for an LP, and I know FF can be wrong about O date. I didn't temp the whole LP because I went on vacation, so who knows.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
I switch between wanting to go back to the suburbs (lived in them til I was 15) and staying in the rural area I am now (hubs grew up here). Wherever I am, I want to travel.
Cd/DPO: 18/5
Timing: -3, -2, -1
Testing: waiting for AF
R/r/CS: I've decided to stop temping for TWW. Also, I'm trying to be really positive and hopeful this cycle because DH thinks that my mindset that it's never gonna happen is causing it to not happen. Because ya know, that's scientific fact obvs. So I have officially already gotten my hopes up.
Gtky: I'd probably just live closer to family. I've lived 4 hours away for 8 years now and I'm so over it.
@BusinessWife congrats on finishing your certification!!
@LINDSEYRVA FX for you!!

ETA I also inconsistently have temps in the beginning of the cycle because I got the flu and ran a crazy high fever for 3 days, so I discarded those temps. Not a great chart to look at.
I also don't have any AF symptoms yet and I "tend" to be a hardcore PMSer - arguing with hubs or my sister, cramps, headaches, crazy mood swings. I'm not trying to SS here, just highlighting that the entire situation is off. I know some cycles can be different.
CD/DPO: 22/6
Timing: -5, -2, -1
Testing Plans: holding out. Reminding myself it's impossible to get anything this early, even with a big temp jump this am.
R/R/CS: temping is awesome. I never have had so much insight to my own body. Also, it's anxiety-inducing and terrifying, haha. I don't know if we are meant to know this much about our bodies.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Love where we live, but my second-favorite place on this earth is Montreal, Quebec.
Anyways, good luck to all of you. It really has been nice to share this time with everyone. I'm going to continue to lurk in the shadows (and go out and get a BBT as DH really wants a boy lol). FX for you all. Go get those BFP's!!!
Edit: clarification. DD has only nursed for comfort for a while now but I think that may be messing with cycles. Don't want you all to think I don't feed my 21 mo old food lol.
Baby #2: Grayson EDD 10/22/16
I'm still not sure how I'm going to avoid drinking on this afternoon's excursion, which was specifically intended for beer-tasting. I still have to go because reasons, but I'm hoping I can get out of drinking with some dumb excuse about how I still have a cold. Not that being sick has ever stopped me from drinking before. Whatever.
@PeggyOlsonFTW I lived in Morningside Heights and then later in Williamsburg! I'm originally from upstate, but I moved to the city after grad school, and stayed for about 2 1/2 years. I loved it there and only left because of dollars, but I really love the city I live in now, too! I haven't been back in over four years. Shameful.
@BusinessWife that chart looks gooooood........
@mamadomino The googling. It's the devil. I'd be mortified if anyone saw my search history.
@MRSCORKER hey LP buddy... I'm holding out hope for both of us!!
@m6agua your chart looks ok still. I hope you get some better sleep soon.
@itsmehere1212 you still have a clear thermal shift, so everything looks decent. FX for you.
@kay6519 how cute that your puppy is a snuggler. Our 3 1/2 year old dog is incredibly snuggly and she did the same thing to me last night.
@Xstatic3333 you are right about where I am when I start with the SS. I hope you find a good way to distract yourself.
@megzb510 and @pretzel2plus1 sorry for the BFNs

DH and I have talked about this quite often, specifically when the lotto was so high. We decided on three states we would like to possibly live in: stay in Oregon, Montana, or Alaska. Definitely somewhere with large trees, where we could buy land, has snow and that has a lot of outdoor activities to keep us busy.

R/R/CS: Nothing really to rant about other than the fact that AF is coming. I've just been feeling so blah recently so it makes total sense. Time to crack open some wine!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I would probably just want to head a couple hours north and live in Vancouver. I love that city so much plus Canada is looking more and more appealing these days. I used to think I would want to live somewhere remote, but the truth is I love the amenities of the city way too much to ever give them up.
edit: Congrats @superscarf !!

R/R/CS: Anyone else start to get the crazies around 7 dpo? I feel like that's when I begin subconsciously symptom spotting, since I know implantation could start to happen. Was that a cramp? NO!!!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why? I think it would be fun to live around Los Angeles.
