October 2016: IVF#1 - 13 retrieved / 12 mature /  9 fertilized / 2 blasts
November 2016: FET#1 = chemical
January 2017: FET#2 = chemical
March 2017: IVF#2 - 18 retrieved / 18 mature / 16 fertilized / 5 blasts

    I totally love the Dessert music video (by Dawin). It's not my kind of music but I find the video and song hilarious. Like, HOW? How is this on the radio? How is this making money? Is that candy crush in the background? What is going on? This is real life?

    @anj27 - we also have our Christmas lights up.  I agree that NE winters are depressing and we have just simple white lights up so they're not "Christmassy" per se.

    After reading the UO thread yesterday I think my sons name is one a lot of the ladies here would either roll their eyes at or silently judge me for. I still love it though and am not concerned about it at all for when he grows up.

    I usually only bump at work, and I realized really quickly I needed to strip images from signatures this month. But I miss them because I always recognized people by their signatures.

    I still have a hidden pinterest board full of star wars themed nursery back when I was pregent. I have not looked at in a while but I have not deleted hoping I will be able use in next time.

    Speaking of acronyms, I can't figure out what exactly TTA stands for. I know it basically means that you are holding off on TTC for some reason that isn't medically indicated, but, I'm lost. Someone help. I has the dumb.

    ETA: when I was a newb I thought it meant "Trying to Adopt" - I have no idea how I got to that conclusion or why there would even be an acronym for that

    @Xstatic3333 I swear I think telephonophobia is real. For most of my life I've gotten anxiety over having to make a phone call. When I was in college I was in college I was having some other problems (according to my therapist and doctor: PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder) and the phone anxiety became really severe. I'd nearly have a panic attack every time I needed to make a call. Even to friends or family. It was bad. Really bad.

    At least now that I'm in a much better place with my mental health my phone anxiety is back to being a mild "ugh I really don't want to do this. Okay I'll just... get it over with! :/" kind of thing.

    @HeyBooHey that link you posted is hilarious and amazing. It also accurately describes how I make a phone call.

    Yes! This me completely. The only difference is that I'm not really a full introvert. Love meeting new people, love parties, love public speaking. Just hate the phone. I try to focus on how good I'll feel once the phone call is over, and the fact that colleagues who prefer to communicate this way will probably be retiring soon.

    @NamelessAria glad it's gotten better for you! I'll keep plugging along, though I am in active phone call procrastination as we speak-er-type.

    @Xstatic3333 I am so with you on this. If we are ordering food and it has to be done via phone, they don't get my business (unless DH gets annoyed and does it for me). Online access to my 401k account has been locked for months because they require you to call to unlock it. I've been down a credit card for almost a year because they are the only bank I've come across that won't let me get a new card via the website.

    My FFFC is that I've lied to my grandparents for years about going to church. I grew up Catholic and went to Catholic school but have never believed, even from little kid on. I have no issue with those who do - it's just not something I'm capable of. Anyway, whenever they ask, I give details about a real church down here that I've never stepped foot in. I just can't seem to break it to them that I'm a non-believer.

    @Xstatic3333 I hate making phone calls, too and I'm old enough that it isn't a symptom of the internet times, it just is. I always have a harder time understanding people over the phone (I blame it on the fact that English is not my first language) so oftentimes I get off the phone not knowing what the heck we talked about. I especially hate making phone calls in front of other people, like not even in front of my husband, and I always go in a different room to do it. I have gotten better though after a few years of working in an open office where I had to suck it up and make some phone calls, but I also loosely rehearse conversations before I make the call.

    My FFFC is that DH has been traveling for work most of the past two weeks.  I have been battling a cold that whole time which I am just now starting to get over, and it has (1) killed my appetite, and (2) zapped my energy.

    The entire time he's been gone, my dinners have consisted of either (1) canned chicken soup, (2) a whole wheat tortilla with fat free refried beans and cheese, or (3) a bowl of ice cream.  #3 has happened twice.

    I've been hoping for a +OPK before CD20. I know it's unlikely but my CM had me hopeful. I've never seriously used OPK & now that I'm POAS on them constantly I am just hoping for it like a loon. We are better on the sex frequency this month.

    My H is so hopeful to "hit it out of the park" this first month actively TTC. I am trying to be excited with him but my long cycles + BF have me less optimistic that we will get as lucky as we have previously when we just had a bunch of sex. He's so cute about it & I have to actively try not to dream squish.
