We got the phone call today that we were terrified of.
The Harmony test came back positive, with a 99% chance that our girl has Down syndrome. We refused the amnio, and my dr fully supported our decision. We don't want to risk losing her.
Her anatomy scan was perfect and showed no markers. In a couple of weeks we will have a more in depth ultrasound and will meet with high risk OB's out of Atlanta and see what health issues we may be up against.
I will try to stay active here, but will be hard for a while.
We are obviously struggling right now and just ask for prayers. Thank you for all the support you showed before.

While I know this is not the news anyone would hope for, I hope you can find peace in that in my teaching and behind I've sought out working with and being around children and adults with Down syndrome because of the joy, love for life and pure appreciation for life they live with.
Whether your little girl has Downs or not, she is lucky to have you and your is and loving on her already!
