Russell Brand in a High Wycombe shopping centre of all places. The woman from looks who's talking - cant remember her name!!! In Westfields Shepherds Bush and I got a selfie with Boris Johnson the Mayor of London. Totes mingling with the celebs.

Had a temp dip and usually O around day 18-20ish so anticipating a high temp tomorrow. Hio on day 13, 15 and he's working nights right now so no 17. Saw him for maybe 30 minutes today and he didn't want to hio. he always complains we don't have sex enough so just ugh at him.

Closest I've ever came was the brother-in-law of the lead singer of creed. So, in other words, no!

ETA: I have been in the same room though as Barack Obama. (Before he was POTUS) That's the closest I've ever been to someone famous. I'd love to meet him or any president for that matter.

@severmilli12 - I went to a Good Charlotte concert when I was 17 and got hit in the head in the mosh pit and they let me sit backstage for the rest of the show. I didn't talk to anyone in the band but my 17 year old self sort of felt like I met them!

R/R/CS: apparently today's my big O.. That's a lot of pressure. So I'm just going to HIO and try to distract myself. We are renovating the bathroom so I will be there in between those times. (Actually my husbands doing all of the work.. But I'm a great supervisor lol)

@babymish I get it! My husband will ask then get completely overwhelmed. So I try my best to let him know only the important things. We kick up the sexy time when I'm on my WTO so he knows it's soon but I try not to tell him my O day so he doesn't have a panic attack lol.

Well that depends on your definition of famous. My husband and I are huge hockey fans and we have met two very famous players. It was all I could do to not freak out lol. And we also love football and we have been arm lengths away from quite a few. I've also met a lot of bands that were popular 10 years ago.. I spent my summers at concerts in my early 20s. I guess that's enough people right?

@Megzb510 Aside from you getting hit in the head, that's a pretty cool story!! I met them at Warped Tour when I was 16 or 17. I snuck behind their autograph signing tent and Benji and Joel were back there so I was able to talk to them, mostly Benji. We talked mostly about his hair which was black and pink at the time lol. He was my crush at the time so I felt like I had died and gone to Heaven.

@babymish could you and your SO have a talk and agree ahead of time that you are not going to tell him when the critical times are? My cycles are irregular so it's really hard for me to pinpoint my FW in advance so we have "practice sex" or "maybe but can't know for sure sex" or "just in case sex" or any other variation. I think even just a small level of uncertainty might help your SO not feel so pressured?

R/R/CS: Does anyone else see the hint of a pattern between AF length and O date? I have four ovulatory months of complete data to work with and the months when AF is shorter, O is earlier, and longer O is later. The stats:
AF = 3 days, O CD14
AF = 5 days, O CD19
AF = 4 days, O CD15
AF = 6 days, O CD19
It may be meaningless but I find it intriguing nonetheless. Looking like it'll be a short one this month so FX for an early O.

I didn't think anyone, but then I read other responses and realized I've met Dicky from the Bosstones, Geraldo Rivera, Howard Stern and the Harlem Globetrotters. Random. My last celeb sighting was Nicole Kidman at my farmer's market a couple months ago (she's tall!). I would LOVE to meet Tina Fey. She is my imaginary best friend.

R/R/CS: I write this in case anyone else is putting switching over off-- temped vaginally for the first time today. It was fine, no big deal at all. I didn't hear my thermometer beep, but it displays the temp for twelve minutes or something, so I just waited two to be sure it was done.

GTKY: (Stolen from TWW) Have you ever met anyone famous? If not, who would you love to meet? Not really, but I'm starting to be reasonably sure it's just a matter of time. DH's startup has a handful invested, and I imagine there might just be a party at some point where I'll meet them. But we'll see.

@babymish DH and I had the same issue last cycle. This cycle we've been doing EOD. It is difficult for me to know we've "missed" a key day, but it's way better than potentially missing a lot of days because he gets too in his head and loses his confidence!

R/R/CS: I think my cheap Wal-Mart BBT has finally crapped out on me. My temps have been way more erratic than usual lately, and the beeping noise sounded weird this morning. So because of that, FF is being crazy and gave me dashed CH for 3 days earlier than usual, before my + OPK and EWCM. WTF FF, you're being dumb! I think I'm going to wait to get a new one, which will help me to stick with my plan not to temp after confirmed O. If it doesn't happen this cycle, I'll order a Mabis. I think O day is either today or tomorrow. Oh well, we'll HIO tonight either way!

The most famous person I have met was Beyonce, I won backstage passes to a Destiny's Child concert back in the day, so I met the whole gang. I also met LFO at a meet and greet, haha. My googly-eyed celebrity sightings include Tim Allen (restaurant), Anne Hathaway (watched her film Dark Knight scene), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (also watched him film DK scene), Rasheed Wallace (bowling) and Justin Timberlake's mom (hotel) lol.

R/R/CS - So I bought a BBT thermometer and it arrived in time for me to start using it on CD 9. Prior to that, I was using a cheapo crap thermometer. Well, there is a one degree difference between the two with the BBT being higher than the old one (I tested them back to back this morning). The difference between the two is throwing off FF and giving me crosshairs on CD 8!! Should I just tell FF to disregard the temps on the old thermometer? If so, that would put my first real temp on CD 9. Will I still be able to see a temp spike by starting that late in the cycle?

Semi-celebrity story - In high school, I accidentally called Tommy Tuberville's personal cell phone. He called me back and introduced himself, and I didn't know who he was (I was not in to football at all), so he had to tell me that he was the head coach of Auburn University. This was at the height of his coaching career and I lived in Auburn fan country, so he was really confused why I didn't know who he was and how I accidentally called him. It was awkward, but I saved his number in my phone and bragged to all the AU fans that I had his number.

Other than that I met Doug Hutchinson (who has played the villain in a ton of movies like Green Mile and Batman and Robin)... IRL he ended up marrying a 16 year old girl when he was in his late 40s so I guess he is a villain in real life.

I also was stuck in a traffic jam beside Kanye West once. This was 10 years ago.

ETA: Oh yeah, and Jane Fonda's daughter's ex husband lives on my street. If that counts?

R/R/CS: I went to a restorative yoga class last night and it was absolutely amazing! I usually go to warm or hot vinyasa classes, so this was a big change for me. It was definitely needed and I would totally recommend it to anyone!!

GTK: I have met the Backstreet Boys as part of a Wish that was granted for Make a Wish. I also met George Clooney when he was shooting The Ides of March. I have Face Timed with Tyler Eifert (NFL Player) while he was at a bar where some of my friends were and I was in NYC. It was amazing!

@MrsDho11I decided to start temping vaginally as I am a mouth breather and read that can sometimes affect temps, I really do not see the big deal either! It is just as easy and hopefully will give me more consistent temps!

R/R/CS: Think I have finally figured out how to post my chart! Another high temp today so hopefully another high one tomorrow and then CH! First month charting and I have to say it is kind of nerve racking seeing your temps go up and down when you don't know what to expect! Right now FF is saying O possibly sometime between CD 14 and 16, hoping for CD 14 since we BD the night before so timing would be great! My chart below, any insights always welcome!

R/R/CS: So if my cycles were already confusing enough I got dotted cross hairs today on FF. The only reason they are dotted and not solid is because I haven't added any other fertility signs. Well I don't usually O til closer to cycle day 30 so I wasn't even worried about checking CM this early in my cycle, but if I even if I enter in just one day of watery CM it changes them to solid. So now I'm all confused. Could my cycle actually go from 46 days to 23? Could this just be a fluke and my temp will fall back down? I mean we actually ended up having good timing if O day is correct and I wouldn't be mad about having a short cycle, but dang body stop playing mind games with me!

R/R/CS: Yesterday was a really hard TTGP day for me. I've been feeling down lately, the weather isn't helping that either, and DH could tell I was upset. I just needed him to be there for me, but instead he went off to work on the furnace (it works! it just doesn't work as efficiently as it should). Anyway, I was pist at him for taking off and leaving me alone in bed. He's had a thing for the furnace for almost 2 years now, so I'd had it. I actually got into work this morning and emailed him this huge guilt trip about how I needed him and how he ditched me. He apologized, and someone is coming to look at the furnace today!

GTK: I've met a handful of local celebrities and athletes, but that's about it.

@anj27 I actually switched from temping orally to vaginally this cycle, so this cycle my temps are generally higher. My previous temps are all over the place which is why I switched. FF always picked up a temp shift, but it was pretty subtle.

I talked to Terrance Howard for a while and he called me a couple of times, but after googling him, decided he was not a good guy and stopped taking the calls! Lol omg, I don't think I've ever even told DH about that. Stavros Niarchos (greek shipping magnate heir and dated one of the Olson twins and Paris Hilton in the 2000s) went to my high school for one year. Apparently I also went to college with several famous people, but never actually met them during college. I mean, I dated a guy on our basketball team for about a year, and used to hang out with the bball guys and couple of them are now on real pro teams so I guess they're "famous" now... Also one of the girls who ended up on the Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise lived in my apartment building and I interacted with her a couple of times, but she didn't go to my school; she was just trying to get famous and hang out with rich people (me not being one of the rich people ha). Is it painfully obvious that I used to live in LA?? lol so much for internet security.

R/R/CS: I keep thinking that it's O day, and every day it keeps faking me out. I expected a high temp today, confirming O either yesterday or the day before that. But it went down. I'm also sick this week, so maybe that is affecting it as well. Either way, DH and I have packed work schedules the next few days so no opportunity to HIO. So I'm really hoping that O already happened.

To add to @anj27's comment, my DH also asks about practice sex vs real sex. It's kind of frustrating that they ask about that stuff. So I just give a cheeky answer and say "it's all REAL sex!!" But I like @anj27's answer with the uncertainty factor better.

@paturkey I was wondering about AF length vs O date and the relationship, but I haven't sat down and looked at my actual numbers yet. I think I do see a relationship in your stats though!

@strickland8052 - I was in the same boat as you last month. Had a crappy thermometer while I was waiting for the BBT to arrive. My thermometers were way off from each other as well. I started using the BBT at CD 12 and FF still gave me CHs. Unfortunately, FF later took them away but that was because my temp had dropped considerably and it turns out that I did not O last month. In short, FF should still be able to pick up O and give you CHs however, I would disregard all your previous temps before your BBT temps. Hope this helps!

Got to meet a number of bands, celebs etc. Since I was so young when I started working in the industry, I never really got starstruck because I was always working and was trained to "ignore it and be professional" lol. Was harder when I was younger but then got used to it. Two people that I would actually be starstruck by would be Leo DiCaprio or Robert Downey Jr. lol

R/R/CS: Had my follow up with the RE yesterday, and she basically said that she doesn't think that my slightly high TSH is the sole contributor to me not getting KTFU, and everything else is fine. So she left it up to us to either just keep trying, add some type of drug like Clomid and do TI, or couple that with IUI. Since we are only on cycle 7, even though I am creeping up on 35, since DH's SA was our main concern and that looks fine, I think we are just leaning toward trying for at least a couple more cycles before going any other route. I'm glad nothing is wrong, but at the same time it's like, okay so just keep doing what we're doing that hasn't been working? Got it. BUT I know it has not been that long, so trying to just assume it will happen eventually.

@sarah0985 - My DH didn't want to HIO last night either and I feel like I could be getting close to O. We were at dinner last night and he asked when we needed to HIO and I said today, tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and he just looked at me. I said pick a few, pick at least four. Lol. Well when we got home, my DS came home from his dad's, and by the time I got him to bed DH was in bed and sleeping within a few minutes, so I guess he didn't pick last night.

@strickland8052 - I would probably leave the temps in for now but. ignore the CHs. I believe FF needs 6 pre-O temps to be able to confirm O, so depending on when you O you may still see the shift if you only use temps starting on CD9. You could also play around with it and change the earlier temps to be what you *think* they would have been on the BBT. But if you do that, save the real temps in the notes in case you need them.

R/R/CS: I went to look in a popular baby store for a friend's upcoming shower and I walked by the "made in ______" onesie that I so badly wanted to be a baby purchase here. It wasn't that cute actually and I walked out of the store to my H and our puppy waiting for me. Nothing in their look just then said they were disappointed with me for any reason, so I decided I didn't need to be either.

@cwirth89 Hugs to you. All these extra hormones can definitely make things hard. I'm the same way with my hubby...get irritated at him for not being supportive (he's an eternal optimist and always says "next month will be our month"). I listened to the grief episode of the Beat Infertility podcast and it was helpful to put things in perspective that we might process the infertility journey differently than our SO. I recommend checking it out. Hopefully your afternoon is going better!

@strickland8052 Your old temps have no barring on your new ones. Think of your BBT like a scale. Not every scale is calibrated the same and will show the same weight as every other scale in the world. I expect my scale at home to be different than my friends' which is different than my doctor's. Same applies to BBTs. I would check discard on the old temps. You should still be able to see a spike if you don't O for at least a few more days. Forest, not trees.
