@Bootsie327 Your DS and my DD must be cahoots together!!
Lucky us! Yeah he used to sleep so well and it's been inexplicably rocky for a few weeks. Many nights I just bring him into bed, because the alternative is trying and failing for 2 hours or more to put him back down. I hope it's just a temporary regression!!
@fbanke42 Nothing. Not from kids, or my brother who lives with me. I see my parents almost everyday, along with my sister. I don't wear maternity clothes, though, and that helps. The jeans I'm wearing today are my "fat" jeans. They're able to cover more of the bump. We're going to tell the kids the 1st of February by taking them to my 3D ultrasound. The dh and I are not going to tell anyone. We'll just say yes if people ask, and we won't give out a due date. We'll just say we're due this year. That way, he still gets to kind of surprise people when baby arrives a lot sooner than people will be suspecting.

Teeth? DD is 19 months and working on THREE molars right now. I can't decide if I'm excited for her to finally have more than 6 teeth, or if I'd rather her just have the 6 and nibble at her food forever.
@mrstrax Possibly, but all four of her molars came in and we noticed nothing then. Now she screams, and when we walk in she stops immediately and says "I wanna rock!!!" Ugh it's cute but...sleep...

I wanted to wait a REALLY long time before telling anyone, but DH blabbed at around 9 weeks, since I was so sick all of the time and we were staying at a beach house with his family for a week. The only people who were told were his parents. We ended up telling my parents sometime after that, just because DH blabbed AGAIN. I was totally prepared to not tell anyone until the third trimester, but DH just started telling everyone in person on Halloween. I also seem to show way too much to hide it any further than around 20ish weeks. I'm extremely envious of you. I want a secret baby! Maybe next time.
@fbanke42 It has been fun, but I am feeling a little guilty about it as I've kind of had to lie to a few people. Plus, this is my last pregnancy (at least, we're pretty sure), and the kids love going to ultrasounds with me and feeling baby move. This is why I finally convince the dh to let me tell the kids at my 27 week ultrasound. We're going to try to convince the kids to keep it a secret, but kids can only handle so much. The dh totally blabbed with our last, he couldn't keep it a secret any longer and told everyone at 10 weeks. I was okay with waiting. The longest we have made it before this baby is 14 weeks, and even then, my parents knew because my sister told them (she had just lost a baby at 21 weeks and explained to them why I was taking it so hard as I was 11 weeks). So, this is quite new to me. I can't tell you how many times I've almost slipped up! All the rest of the kids we told right away. But, by the time you get to #5, people stop being happy and start in on negative crap, which is why we've waited. Hopefully you'll get a surprise baby!
@SweetBriarBee I'm #6 in my family; any time someone made a comment about my parents having too many kids, dad would say something along the lines of, "Well which ones should we put out to pasture?" which was his nice way of saying that he'd put one or more of us down, like a dog. When mom was around, he'd ask which kid the asker would get rid of. Either way, this made the person asking look like the asshole because in my family, every baby is a blessing. Plus, making comments like that really does make that person an asshole.
It's weird because I only get comments from my family. My parents had 7 kids and adopted 2 more, and the dh's family (combined step kids) has 10 kids. So why everyone feels the need to bring us down on the matter is beyond me. Outsiders are far more kind when it comes to me and my kids.
You ladies are looking amazing! Here's the last one of second trimester at 26 weeks and 5 days! I definitely have noticed his movements becoming more and more like he's running out of room! Yikes 13 more weeks!

I guess teeth are possible! He is 20 months and has 16 teeth, so the only ones left are the 2yo molars. I suppose I'd rather him not be cutting them when we have a newborn, but I'm oh so tired! Teething ruins lives though. Haha. The worst so far was when he got his front top two teeth!
@sarahufl that's crazy! You don't look that big at all! I can understand how frustrating it is though, my OB office seems to be obsessed with weight gain, and not take into account things like water retention/end if the day bloat/just ate a meal. They make me feel like an obese whale at every single appointment. Im so over it! And I think you look great!
I'm late, but 29 weeks! Finally found decent maternity jeans and the belly panel seems to hold in my belly a bit. I feel slightly less humongous in them!

@loveymay My doctors office is the same! Granted I am way overweight but with DS I only gained 25lbs total and lost it within a few weeks. Its a double edged sword because the thought of being weighed in monthly gives me anxiety and I second guess everything I eat but it does help from indulging....sometimes. .
A day late, but here's my 25 week bump. Somebody at work remarked that I've really grown, and even the men in the office are starting to comment, so I'm assuming she had a growth spurt this past week, though honestly I don't feel any more huge than usual.

I actually haven't gained much weight at all- at my 28 week appointment, I was up like 19 pounds, which is normal (as far as I understand). It's the baby itself that is huge- 98th percentile, measuring 2 weeks ahead. I *feel* huge, but it is literally only in my belly. I can actually wear my regular clothes (just....not around my waist....)

I've gained 16lbs, 8 of which were over the past month and a half ( or however long since the week of Thanksgiving) and my Dr tells me today I'm gaining too much, and to cut out soda, juice, and fast food. My fiancé literally burst out laughing because I don't eat/drink any of that. Dr didn't find it amusing and assumed I just eat it when he's not around. I told him I'll keep a food diary until my next appointment in two weeks to show what I typically eat. He winked at me and said no I don't need to see your "foodie diaries" So annoyed today... Btw taking the three hour test sometime next week >:(
@Kaytlin31 on you maybe, but my front view is intensely tiger striped from DS1 and now that I'm *popping* they're slowly getting darker again. I don't mind that they're there anymore, but I have no desire to ever have photographic evidence of them on the Internet, or anywhere.

Am I the only one hat finds the front view so much cuter than the side? This was a few days ago, 28 weeks with little man.
