Acne?!?

So I am ten weeks along with surprise baby #4.... And my skin is atrocious! I don't remember having acne during any of my previous three pregnancies, all girls. Wondering if his might be an indication that I'm having a boy this time?? Interested to hear from other mama's who've had boys - was there a difference in your skin?

I had a girl and had bad acne, Every pregnancy can be different you cannot compare the two. You will have different symptoms and can carry high or low and it means nothing.

I'm not sure what I am having yet (8w5d) but my acne is terrible! I guess we will see!

I had acne with my daughter and not my son. With this pregnancy, I want another girl but Im not having breakouts..

This is my first pregnancy, and my acne is HORRIBLE. I have always had fairly good skin, with maybe one or two pimples every now and again, but I definitely have it BAD. I have around 20 pimples around my entire face, cheeks, forehead, chin. It's CRAZY!

Also on the terrible acne boat. Never really got acne before pregnancy. Did experience the same with my last pregnancy as well.

Mine was bad with my son and this one is starting to get bad. However I've been using tea tree face wash from trader joes along with the desert essence tea tree blemish stick and I think it has helped. Being a 32 yo with bad acne sucks!

With DS I didn't have any issues with my skin. This time I'm getting break outs on my back, face, and even on my scalp! So weird.

I had awful acne and vomited the entire time with my daughter, but could sleep whenever I wanted & was in great spirits. This time, my skin looks great and I've only had a little morning sickness, but I can't sleep and I'm an emotional, moody mess. I guess they are all just different!

I normally have beautiful skin, now I've got big acne on my neck, shoulders, and chest, it's so bizarre. Hoping it goes away as the second trimester starts!

I have terrible acne this time around too! I don't remember having acne with DD, but it has been a while so I'm not really sure... Hopefully it clears up soon! I feel like a flippin' teenager again.

If it's really bothering you, go see a dermatologist. They can recommend some things that are safe for pregnancy. I use a Dcl line that has glycolic acid. Safe and keeping my skin under control.
