I'm 32 weeks and team green. DH and I have some normal names on the short list (Brooke, Elyse, Kelsey, Cody) but we really like the name Ridgely for a girl. We are not agreeing on many names. Honestly I have not really looked into the name so it could be made up for all I know. A few nights ago we were eating out and it was the name of our waitress.
Re: Thoughts on Ridgely
Stick with Brooke, Elyse (I prefer Elise to get away from the Y trend) or Kelsey.
"Ridgely by Trogan. Gently ridged for her pleasure n"
I'd also toss Cody at this point.
The girl names you selected are lovely.

2. Its made up.
3. I agree with the previous poster that it sounds like a condom.
4. Your other choices are great! Although I like Elise with the "i" better. The "y" looks like it is following the weird "lets add a y to everything that is an i" trend.
Ridgely has been scratched off the list.
And Cody wasn't for a girl, sorry I didn't make that clear. I was just listing out "normal" names we were thinking.
I vote Brooke

I like Elise.

ME: 40 yrs.old
DH: 41 yrs.old
DD: 5 yrs.
I would maybe give the edge to Brooke since it's declining in usage. I love Elise but with everyone looking for E names to get the nn Ellie, it has a stronger change of gaining popularity in the next couple years.
