Know what's not cool? I get a warning for quoting someone on the prenatals thread and saying something about selective disgust, but the woman on TTCAL who uses TB as her personal diary swears at a whole bunch of people who pointed out to her that it's against the TOU to ask if you're pregnant and also rude to post and never come back, doesn't get a TOU violation or removal? Lame.

More first world problem. I got a new phone and after installing the app of the silly game I've been playing for two years and logging in it started me all over from board number 1. I am so mad, I know it's a silly game but I was soooo far in it and refuse to start over. At least the other similar game I play didn't do that. FFC I am almost to level 800 in a candy crush type game....

My neighbor is letting her 2 huge dogs run free in the neighborhood. It's my day off today and my dog has been at the window barking all morning. There isn't a law/ordinance against it though so I can't do anything about it.

Mine is more a WTF moment:

DH and I were at the store last night and the targeted coupons spit out tampon coupons. DH said, does the machine know? Does it track when you purchase tampons and you need them now? WTF DH, YOU would know if I needed them because I would be cranky, bitchy, and it would mean I’m not KU! (Side note, I’m in my FW and we’ve been BD-ing EOD. Double WTF, is he truly that oblivious!)

I have been trying repeatedly to log into my student loan service provider website... to absolutely no avail. I started to have this problem last month, and it ended up logging in through Explorer worked. Now even that's not working, either. I just want to pay my stupid loan on time and I can't even get into my account! I've emailed them twice and so far no response. I have spent most of the day on and off the phone for work, so if I have to call them now too, then it's just going to be one of those kind of days. GRRRRR!!!

I realized this weekend that I need to get a new passport because I changed my name and we're going away in 6 weeks. I'm mad at myself for not remembering earlier because now I have to pay extra to have it expedited. Also, I went to 3 different places to get new PP pics before I found a place that could do them. Blerg.

My first world problem of the day is the carpet quote I just got. DH and I have been going back and forth on whether to upgrade the carpet in the family room or put down hardwoods. I prefer the look of hardwoods but he wants carpet because it's more "homey". Anyways, I gave in, picked something out, and the guy just quoted me $2500 to do one f'ing room. Unless this carpet is woven from the hair of angels and installed by Jesus himself, there is no way I would ever pay that much for carpeting. My life defines the meaning of "champagne taste on a beer budget"....womp.

Work is my source of bitchfest day. Ugh! I recently reported a douchy coworker who was defrauding the companies paid medical leave policy (was not I'll except for maybe mentally. He has a shrink friend sign off on the paperwork so he could spend several months in drunken stupor and going on lavish vacations. Plus was dumb enough to post about how he did it on several social media accounts) and who offered to supply amphetamines to his coworkers. Guess who is still not fired! Dipstick came back to work this morning after 3 months of paid leave today to continue offering to dole out drugs because he "has the hook up."

To top that off, my company recently decided that they were going to change their minds and not give us Christmas Eve and Christmas day as paid holidays. Instead we have to use vacation hours. Oh, and the policy is retroactive since it was decided before the holiday and just was not widely announced to avoid dampening the holiday spirit. So yay for losing two days of pay from my upcoming check!

And finally to end the day, it turns out the county can't find out property tax payment from last year. I paid it in cash at the county office, but we have moved twice since then, and I cannot find my paid receipt. It's probably tucked away in one of the dozens of still packed boxes sitting in storage. But thanks to that we have a nice fee we were surprised with.

I'm so ready for today to be done. With the way this day is going, I half expect to another BFN and a myriad of other plagues to descend! Grrrr....

We just carpeted one room, and got a great deal on "bulk" carpet from Home Depot that was still high quality. I don't blame you, that quote is bonkers.

Today I realized that after 10yrs of paying DH's student loan, we've paid $13k on an $18k loan and yet somehow we still owe $15k. WTMF is that about?! I admit there were times we made late payments, but that was mostly bc DH was a dummy who didn't know better. We paid everything and got him up to date years and years ago. How can student loan math be so horrible?!

I'm doing online college right now. My current class is regarding "Social Problems" which is supposed to be a Sociology type of class. Week 1, we reviewed what Sociology is and that we are supposed to do research and offer unbiased opinions about important social issues. (Illegal immigration, discrimination, political distrust...) Every discussion now turns into a raging, heated political debate because apparently everyone is too lazy to do the research and chooses to just spout off their opinions as opposed to what we are actually supposed to be doing. I understand that people have opinions, but for the love of all things holy, can I please have just ONE place dedicated to facts?

Researched all possible health insurance options during open enrollment, confirmed my doctors (including my OB/GYN) were still available under any new insurance plan and find out today that they are only available under the "Select" plan and not the "Signature" plan (of the same insurance company). Guess what I have. Yup. 2 hours and 5 people later and still no one can tell me the difference between the two types of plans. This is war.

H work is cause of my BF today.
H works for a temp agency, and turns in his card every Friday, and picks up his check for the week before at the same time.

So I turned in his time card 2 Friday's ago. When H went to pick up his check last Friday, they didn't have one. So we talked to the manager, and she sai he would have one ready Monday afternoon.
So at 4 H went to pick up his check and they don't have it, again. Now that we talked to the manager again, who back pedaled, we called corporate who are going to investigate.
H's check will be ready Friday, along with the check for last weeks hrs.

Super first world problem...we have a lot of cake/cupcakes left over from a birthday party and my H doesn't eat sweets. I can only give the kids so much so I keep eating it! I am suppose to be doing the 21 day fix but can't stop eating the cake. I need to just toss it...but it is so good.

This was an issue for us too. It is crazy when you think insurance cannot get more complicated they do...

Ahhhhhh @MRSCORKER I just did a new passport application this weekend and it suckkked so much. Our trip is in 10 weeks and I was a little tempted to get the expedited delivery myself, but the woman at the post office said they've been coming in within about 3 weeks lately. This time of year is slow for passports I guess?

My bitchfest for today happened yesterday. DH and I were at the market picking up groceries, and I noticed that the crappy Kroger-brand HPTs were on sale, so I grabbed a box. Tossed them on the belt at the checkout like a normal person. H and I were playing around while we waited in line - nothing crazy, just generally being, like, newlyweds. But I guess obviously big fans of each other. And, I mean, our rings are not overly subtle. So anyway. When we got up to the counter, the woman checking us out plucked the HPT box right off the belt and held it up and said, "ohhhh, is this a hopeful?!" I wanted to say something really obnoxious, but I just smiled and was like, "of course, yeah." And she decided that this was an invitation to discuss the state of my uterus, and she said, "d'yall have kids already?" And like. I know she was just trying to be nice. But mind your own fucking business.

Edited because Safari doesn't believe I can spell on my own and frequently changes correctly-spelled words to other correctly-spelled words.

@businesswife and @superscarf - student loan companies feel like it's own ring of hell sometimes

My bitchfest is aimed at Fitbit. Normally, I love Fitbit. I had one for a year and it was great, so I upgraded to the Charge. Three months later, the Charge stopped holding a charge (the irony there!). Emailed Fitbit, and they were great. Sent me another Charge for free! Three months later, THAT one stops holding a charge. They send me a new one.

After sitting on that one for a month because I was busy and wasn't able to get everything set up, I finally set it up on Saturday. IT'S DEAD ALREADY. These things are supposed to last 7-10 days. Less than two and the brand new one is already dead.

It's great and all that they have such a great customer service department, but I'm getting tired to dealing with them. Can't I just have a product that works?

I got a Charge for Christmas and mine only lasts for 3 days if I wear it 24/7. I like that it tracks my sleeps so I only take it off to shower. The first few days I had it I took it off at night and then the battery lasted much longer. I just don't think the batteries last as long as they say.

I have a charge also and it only lasts about 3 days for me as well. It doesn't bother me tremendously because I can charge it while I sit at my desk at work but it is annoying.

I've never fired anyone before. I'm also the one that hired her, but it's not working out at all. So she's got to go, but I feel like the bitch anyways. Ughhh. I wish that was over already. She's going to be totally blindsided.

I trained a girl to take over my last position at work. I know that she will be fired on 2/5. I've already been training her replacement. It sucks.
Also, I've had to hire then fire people before. It bites. But think of it this way... you're releasing them to find something that suits them better. She probably knows deep down this job isn't working out. You will both be okay! Good luck!

This happened to me last week. The lady asked if I had kids and when I told her no she told me I was "doing good" to not have kids yet. I wanted to say "bitch you know nothing about me"

I'm wondering if we have malicious lurkers... maybe one who unjustly called you out recently... And are just spitefully sitting there and reporting you all the time now?

If someone was to abuse the report button (e.g. what you mentioned - targeting a specific person and reporting random stuff they post), that itself can be a TOU violation. That being said, anyone can report anything but it's up to the whims of the BGs to determine if it violates TOU. Only something that they deem violates TOU is removed.

It's Tuesday, but I have one from late last night. My SIL is 39 years old and has been married for 4 years. For the entire 4 years of her marriage, her and her husband have debated back and forth whether to have kids. TBH, we all know that HE doesn't want kids but puts the blame on her. He'll feed her these stories like "oh you'll lose your job if you take too much time off to have a kid" and other bs stuff. He also isn't very helpful and lazy, so she knows she would end up doing all of the work should they have a baby. So given all that, they pretty much have decided no kids.

My bitch is that every couple weeks she'll say something stupid to me like "ooh..maybe your daughter will have a cousin next year!" and I'll get all excited and say "are you pregnant/trying?" and she'll go "nooo!" and laugh hysterically. Then late last night, DH told me that his mom said SIL is thinking MAYBE she will have a kid, but she'll have to see. I'm just so sick of hearing about it, and I said to DH "They do realize they can't just decide to have a kid and magically get pregnant right away right?!?!" (I know I'm only on month 2, but I know how frustrating this whole process can be, and it just annoys me that she thinks if they ever decide to have a baby she'll just poof be pregnant immediately).

Sorry that was really long and maybe didn't make much sense.

Not that it's so much annoying to me in the case of my BFF, but she and her husband have been married a few years now and up till now they have been, "waiting," ...so she only very recently got off her BC. I hope they will not have too much of a rude awakening, cos that's one of the big things I hear women say, is they wish they had come off their BC sooner because they thought somehow the minute they came off BC they would just magically IMMEDIATELY GKTFU but... in reality not so much. :/

@JamieK1882 I also understand. A co-worker just announced that his wife is pregnant with their second and is giddy that fits right into their plan. They want 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl and want the first two close together and will have all her pregnancies fall exactly how she wants them to, because she's a teacher.

Must be nice.

I read that post and definitely felt like it was a TOU violation. She was pretty straight forward in her dislike of everyone. Everyone on TTCAL apparently is an "a**hole" and offers nothing but "nasty" because we're all apparently "nasty a** people." Censored that a bit in the repeat. I was pretty shocked the mods didn't feel that warranted any sort of action. At least removing that post.

I haven't seen you say anything that was even half as bad as her rude reply.
