Hey there mommas! First of all, congrats to everyone that's gotten their BFP!
I'm pretty new at this, and I'm hoping for a little bit of knowledge and maybe a little hope.
TW, this is the second time I have been pregnant. The first, in Feb 2015, ended in a chemical pregnancy. I was very upset then, and am fairly anxious this time around.
My DH and I are both 28. We aren't TTC, but we aren't trying to not TTC either. I think I was one of the Christmas ovulators in Dec. DTD 12/19, 12/24, and 12/25. LMP was 11/13. I have a 26 day cycle, so AF was due 1/7.
I've just had that feeling since Christmas, and was excited to get a BFP at home on 1/5 (and 1/6, and 1/7 lol)! Even turned a digital first response, which I feel is a solid accomplishment.
Because of the previous loss, I requested a beta. On 1/7 (3w5d), my hcg was 12. Retested on 1/9 (4w), and it was only up to 14
Re: HPT vs Beta confusion :/
Edit: I would also be concerned about an ectopic if your HCG went up, then down, then up again.
So just waiting now.
Edit because TB app cut my post somehow.
The nurse from my OB office just called and yesterday's beta came back at a 30! Still low, but still slightly more than doubling in 48 hours! They want me to do another beta tomorrow to see if the doubling continues, and then possibly an u/s on Friday to try and rule out ectopic.
I know the numbers are still on the lower end, but I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic that maybe the first two betas were so low because I tested so early (cd 26 and 28), that I may have ovulated or implanted later than I thought, and maybe the numbers were slow increasing due to pretty bad dehydration.
The waiting continues, but a little more hopeful!
I am curious about how your LMP was 11/13 and you have a 26 day cycle why you waited almost a month to test. I am thinking you had either a longer cycle and ovulated later or your way father in your pregnancy than you think...
I feel with your LMP being 11/13 your numbers should have been much higher.
Did you mean 12/13 by chance?

With my son, I had blood drawn at 10 dpo and it was only 7. They didn't even consider me pregnant at that point, haha. It doubled over the next two draws, so all was well.
Thinking good thoughts for you!
