Questions? Anyone not have any symptoms? Last time I really felt pregnant, nausea, extreme exhaustion and bloating at 6 weeks. This time I get slightly tired in the evening and that's it. It's almost too good to be true.
Symptoms can come and go and symptoms vary from pregnancy to pregnancy. You may get lucky this time and not get any bad symptoms.
How are you feeling? All I want to eat is pasta with parmesan cheese and fish sticks. No nausea, just everything else sounds terrible. I'm supplementing with prenatal vitamins and rice cakes, and I choke down a protein shake in the morning
Doing anything baby related today? Called my midwife SIL to ask if it was ok that I haven't eaten a vegetable in 5 days (she says it's ok).
Rant/Rave/Randoms: My heart rate was a lot higher today during physical therapy than it has been in the past. My SIL said it could be from the hormones. I'm going to do my best to not worry about it and make it go higher
Questions? Anyone else have tachycardia or any other arrhythmias and nervous how pregnancy will impact it? Or have you had it with a previous pregnancy, and how did that go?
GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? @MojieJo Discworld!!! I have an entire (small) bookshelf full of Terry Pratchett books! I think Witches Abroad is my favorite, partly because it was the first one I read and partly because it's just so bizarre.
Me: 29, DH: 29 Married 9/27/14 TTC #1 since 8/15/15 BFP: 1/2/16, EDD 9/13/16 - MMC 2/10/16 BFP: 3/17, EDD 11/23/16 November 2016 April Siggy Challenge - April Showers
How are you feeling? Pretty good. A little nausea comes and goes, I'm peeing like it's my job, sore boobs, nothing too bad.
Doing anything baby related today? Just came back from my first ob appt! Dr said my dates are perfect, and I was about to argue with him, because I really want the early ultrasound to make sure we know when I hit 39 weeks, as we've scheduled inductions for my previous babies at that time. Then he said I like to do an ultrasound to make sure everything looks good at about 8 weeks. I think that is a good attitude, and peace of mind is a beneficial enough reason to so an ultrasound.
How are you feeling? Fine, getting tiny bursts of nausea here and there and sleepy, but I do have a 4 month old who still wakes up in the middle of the night to eat.
Doing anything baby related today? Emailed a contractor to get started on our master sweet so our room can be baby #2's room!
Rant/Rave/Randoms: Husband still doesnt get up with our 4 month old at night unless I MAKE him.....We're about to have 2 under 1..hes going to need to step it up!
Questions? Tips or advice for having 2 under 1 is greatly appreciated.
I read The Colour of Magic on a whim (I've never been into fantasy books) and absolutely loved it. I think I read the entire series (what was available of it at the time, anyway, which was everything up to Monstrous Regiment, IIRC) in a couple of months. I just couldn't stop reading.
It's so sad that there won't be any more Discworld books, but I'm happy to go back and re-read the series over and over. They never get old.
