How are you feeling? ok, just a little nauseous.

Doing anything baby related today? nope, just obsessing over my beta results from a couple days ago. It went up, but didn't quite double, so I have to go back and get a 3rd draw in a couple days.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: It finally snowed!!!!! Being from OH this is insane, we usually have a lot of snow days by now. My daughter is so excited to go out and play!

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? Its sad to say, but I am not currently reading anything right now. I do not have the time. I'm too busy with a 4 year old, work, and bow orders for Valentine's day!! I really hope we have another girl, or I'm going to have to expand my business haha!!

How are you feeling? Fine! Symptoms are basically non-existent which I'm not complaining about but it's freaking me out. By this time with my daughter, I had non-stop MS. Currently, I have occasional cramps and my boobs are a little sore. Otherwise, nothing.

Doing anything baby related today? Nope. Just toddler related.

How are you feeling? Good - which, of course, feels too good. Can't remember when I started feeling nauseous with my son, but not really having any of that. Boobs are definitely bigger which I also had first go-round

I like to read classics and I also like to read any book that they're about to make into a movie - so in the past couple of years it's been the Divergent Series, the Maze Runner series, The Martian, etc etc

How are you feeling? Normal. Which of course means i'm panicking as I had mild cramps and bloating last week, then basically nothing the last three days, outside of a headache yesterday/into this morning.

Rant/Rave/Randoms:   All is going well - I'm trying to 'relax' as my DH says, I really wish I could have a US now or at least in the next few weeks but my OBGYN office doesn't do one until the 20w mark.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series?    I'm a Harry Potter and Twlight fan.   I was obsessed and couldn't wait for each new book/movie to come out.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! My boobs though... Ouch.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: Finally opened my birthday present from my sister. She got me some really cute jammies... with a crop top... lol. I'm going to take a picture in them every week and let the hilarity unfold.

Questions? Advice needed, I guess. I had my annual scheduled for Jan. 21 with a new doc in a new office. Should I call and ask if they want to move my appt back? I will be 5w4d then. I don't want to be shady and show up like, "Hey! I'm pregnant!", but this is my first pregnancy and it's a new doc, so I'm anxious to be seen.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? Finishing up the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. (Hence the GTKY question. Fishing for new material.

How are you feeling? Sick. So sick. I think I get about 4 hours out of the day where my stomach isn't fighting with me. Miserable.

Doing anything baby related today? No. I am barely getting daily chores/basic responsibilities done at this point.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: so glad my sister is finally over being sick and can come help me out this week.

Questions? Everybody keeps talking about unisom for m/s. Does it really work?

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? Every time these book questions come up I feel guilty for not reading enough. The last book series I read was Harry Potter. I have read a lot of dramatic literature/ plays though. Most recent was a play called "The Storm" that I am co-directing with the friend who wrote it.

@reesaXden, girl I am right there with you. I am virtually high fiving you as I try not to race to the bathroom every 10 minutes. I have been drinking hot water with mashed ginger, lemon slices, and honey. It seems to temporarily help soothe me. I have leftovers from a prescription of zofran I had with a stomach virus and it sucks that its linked to bad things now and I just have to think about how much better I would feel if I just had the tiniest nibble of it.

@tamedshrew I hate that you are in the same boat! I've done the unisom/b6 combo in the past and it did help. My dr recommended it to me and said it's the cheap way to take dislegis (sp?) and it's literally the same thing. I called today just to double check the dosage and such.

The nurse just called and is actually starting me on the dislegis.

But for the unisom/b6 you take one 25mg at bed paired with one b6 and then just one b6 in the morning.

How far along are you? 5 weeks today!

How are you feeling? Pretty good. I seem to have some cramps and lower back pain in the mornings, but that gets better once I get LO ready and I can sit for a minute. Some boob soreness. Some gassiness and mild constipation. Tired. But all of this is pretty manageable.

Doing anything baby related today? Going to see a friend who had a baby yesterday! I want to tell her I'm PG so badly, but DH and I are determined to wait.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: it's really cold. Blah.

@0SeaMonkey0 - I seem to remember from my last that my OB doesn't check for it until at least 10 weeks, although it can probably be found a week or so before that. She doesn't like the unnecessary worry if it just can't be heard due to tiny babe in a non-perfect position. You could always ask... but don't get your hopes up too high!!

Feeling? Tired, but my three year old woke up in the middle of the night with a nasty cough. I didn't get much sleep after that.

Doing anything baby related? Not today.

Rants/Raves/Randoms: The only good thing about my daughter having this cough is that I'll keep her home from gymnastics today and that means we won't have to go out in this frigid weather...yay! I just checked my weather app and it says it "Feels like 6 degrees". No thank you!

How are you feeling? Pretty darn good, just tired and dizzy.

Doing anything baby related today? Yes! I had my prenatal blood work this morning at my ob/gyn's office. It was so so strange to be back there.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I'm working nights this week so now I'm going to try to go back to sleep. Should be easy except that I'm so wound up reading through all the baby stuff the ob gave me! I still can't believe it. I thought it would sink in by now.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? I have recently been reading novels by Liane Moriarty: Big Little Lies, 3 Wishes, The Hypnotist's Love Story and What Alice Forgot. I still have a few left to read. I love downloading library books to my Kindle.

How are you feeling? Yesterday, I felt pretty great! I actually had an appetite and didn't have to force myself to eat all day - for the first time in a while. Today I don't feel quite that great but not awful (yet) either. Hoping things stay that way as keeping this pregnancy a secret while sick at work would not be easy.

Doing anything baby related today? Added tickers to my siggy! And getting squirrel-y as my first appointment (this Wed!) approaches!

Rant/Rave/Randoms: Anyone watch the Golden Globes last night? I missed them but caught the highlights on the radio this morning. Sounds like Ricky Gervais was a great host!

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? My best friend's favorite author is Jodi Piccoult so, on recommendation, I read a couple of her books recently. They were interesting but so depressing...! (Really glad I finished My Sister's Keeper before I was pregnant!) So now I'm reading The Paris Wife - a story based (loosely?) on Ernest Hemingway and his wife Hadley.

I'm sorry to the sick ladies @TheTamedShrew and @reesaXden ! Based on my past experience, I should have about another week before I start puking. My OB gave me samples of diclegis today. I took zofran in the past, but we'll see if diclegis works first this time. My worry with diclegis is that you're supposed to start by just taking 2 at night. I have 6 weeks of working nights before I reach 20 weeks. I definitely can't take a med that makes you more sleepy and then work overnight! We'll see how it goes. Plus I can still hope that maybe my body will be more used to the hormones this time... or maybe this will be my boy and everything they say about girls making you sicker will be true for me!!

How are you feeling? I am fighting a cold thar my daughter brought home. Other than that no real symptoms...peeing on a stick every Monday till my first appt might become a trend.

Doing anything baby related today? Negative. I wish alas not the new one anyway. My DD has killer DR from her having the cold and now her poop is super runny. So battling that.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: why is it..I take a day off from work and in my head I have these grand ideas of what I am gonna do...till I am here and I am laying on the floor in front of the TV...looking at unfolded laundry.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I went to Destination Maternity yesterday to look at their sale stuff and felt like a total creeper. I'm bloated but it's not baby bump yet and I'm pretty sure I was getting some side eye from the women working there.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? I'm reading Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho and the Magicians by Lev Grossman. I'm attempting to find something to fill the All Souls Trilogy void, they're alright.

How are you feeling ? Great, all these girls talking about their nausea is bringing back my horrible 9 weeks straight of morning afternoon and evening vomiying with my first. I'm starting to get nervous it's coming soon ! That was the only thing holding me back getting pregnant sooner. Lol. Last time it started violently at 8 wk 2 day. So a few more weeks hopefully

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Trying not to get overwhelmed with the logistics of twins until its confirmed on the 21st.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I had mentioned in TTGP that DH took a while to come around to the idea of even TTGP, and then we came to the plan of OAD. So when the Dr mentioned twins, I thought it was going to send him spinning, but he has been so great and calm about it (way more than me- I cried on the way to dinner Saturday because we would have to get a different vehicle for me----maybe a little hormone related too) He actually mentioned turning our family room into a playroom when the time comes. It just such a relief to have him be so content with the changes.

Questions? I temped to confirm O, but I stopped after that. How far off have your dates been according to your calculations?

GTKY- Fav Book: Cutting for Stone or Before I Go. I'm actually between books right now, but the TTGP Book Club piqued my interest for All the Light We Cannot See so that's probably next.

How far along are you? 6 weeks, 4 days

How are you feeling? This morning was the worst I've felt... very nauseous and had trouble getting ready for work. But I ate some saltines and drank some water and i felt more normal in about 15 mins. I'm really worried about getting to work now... I'm just terrified I'll have to be late sometimes.

Doing anything baby related today? Nope, just checking in on here and waiting patiently for my first appointment.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: Yea, so like I mentioned above... I thought I was pretty much symptom free and then this morning it really hit me. I'm so nervous about work (I'm a teacher), feeling sick and not being at the top of my game.. I'm also completely exhausted and can't seem to find the energy to do my usual activities. It's making me anxious and depressed at the same time.

Questions? Can't think of any at this time.. so tired!

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? I haven't been reading many of the popular series in recent years.. Read a ton of the Dan Brown books years ago which I loved.

@ssimon621 no symptoms here either! I'm still very early at 4w5d but with my daughter I had intense nausea and fatigue right away. With this one, I've had some cramping here or there but nothing consistent and otherwise, no other symptoms. But remember, a missed period is a symptom so I'm hanging on to that so as not to freak myself out too much.

@mom2adoodle - Now that my little guy is 1, I can understand when people told us it was easiest to travel when they are just a few months old. I don't remember where you're from/know how far of a trip it would be to Mexico, but don't count yourself out just yet!

Also - I have some stress-related IBS in my regular life (was only ever really active during pharmacy school on exam days). I remember having to basically run to the bathroom each morning during my last pregnancy with stomach cramps that immediately resolved with a super unpleasant loose stool. I still think that was better than the rare couple days of constipation...

How are you feeling? So nauseous. I'm at that point where I feel like things would be so much better if I was actually throwing up instead of just feeling like I'm going to all the time. Ugh.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? My all time favorite book series will always be Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. They're hilarious. Hogfather will always be my favorite of the series. Death is my favorite character, so I especially love the books where he has a starring role instead of just showing up once or twice.

Currently, I'm in the middle of reading Edward Carey's Iremonger trilogy. The first book was good, the second was alright...haven't read the third yet, but I'm starting to lose interest. I also need to finish the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series, too, but I didn't enjoy the second book as much as the first on that one, either, so I'm sort of "meh" about it even though I want to be excited about it.

@AnnaS930 - I started the divergent series and devoured the first book in one sitting. But I just COULD NOT get into the second book, so I gave up. I might try to jump back into it though - the movies made it look more interesting!

@LakeR2014 - Crazy your OB doesn't do a US until week 20. I think mine does one around week 12, but I'd have to check. 20 weeks seems like a long wait for those first pictures.

@tigerfis227 - the PGAL brain hasn't settled in for me yet, but I'm sure I'll be going crazy with worry by this time next week. But for now, We're pregnant and that is something to be happy about!

@mom2adoodle I'm definitely in the unpredictable bm camp. So gross.

How far along are you? 5 weeks. EDD Sept 12. But I have a feeling I might actually be somewhere in week 4 since my cycle tends to be longer.

How are you feeling? Good. A tad nauseous. I'm not super terrified about everything yet to come... yet... but PGAL brain will definitely happen next week. I was super scared the first go-around and of course my worst fears were confirmed, but for now I'm in good spirits!

Doing anything baby related today? Just made a Dr. appointment for next Wednesday!

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I'm traveling for work tomorrow and I'm excited about it, but also a bit nervous since it's the first time I'm traveling by plane with my dog. My co-workers/boss don't seem to get it when I say I need a lot of extra time to ensure my dog has breaks, calm time, etc. so that is a bit frustrating. I'm hoping it will be a positive experience all around!

How are you feeling? I'm feeling well so far today, but my nausea hits in the evening so we'll see how things are going in a few hours.

Doing anything baby related today? I got my first beta back today. My doc doesn't want me to do my second until Friday, which I found odd.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I was excited my DH would be home this week but it looks like he'll be delayed due to bad weather Ah well maybe the weekend or early next week.

GTKY: What is your current or favorite book/book series? Ten apples up on top!?! Seriously, I don't remember the last time I had enough time available to sit and read a book. When I get time to myself it's typically spent sleeping.

How are you feeling? Pretty good so far. Hoping for at least 2 more symptom free weeks. With DS, symptoms didn't kick in until just after the 6 week mark.

Doing anything baby related today? Just got my BFP so I had to call and schedule an OB appointment and call my endocrinologist to get blood work done for my thyroid levels.

Rant/Rave/Randoms: I have a lot of work to do, but I have been pinning nursery ideas. I really have to get a lot of work done ASAP!
