  Met DH when I was my last year of HS and he was in his first year of college. We've been together for 17 years and married for 8. I'm 35, he's 37 and we have a daughter who will be 4 this year on the leap day.

  Five years, married one, this is our third baby. All of our kids were planned. The marriage was a surprise when I decided to go PRN. Insurance requires it.

  We met in the military 14 years ago (in April). We married 9 years ago, 10 year anniversary will be August 12th. I have 2 step - kids from his first marriage, 17 DD and 18 DS that live with us and are my "first children". I have had several miscarriages, so this will be our first child together. He is 38 and I am 33.

  Both 30. Together for 5 years, Married 2 in May. This is our 1st. We met thru a friend. Her parents still give her crap saying she gave away the perfect man. I happen to agree. :-)

  It's amazing seeing how long many of you have been with your spouse. I love stories like those!
  
  My DH and I have a weird/long history. We met almost exactly 8 years ago when I was 17, he was 19. Dated for a year and a half, lived together, had a great relationship, but he was terrified of commitment and broke it off. He had a rebound thing almost immediately after our breakup and got the girl pregnant, so he ended up staying with her for many years trying to make it work for their son (though I kept in contact with a mutual friend who told me regularly that he was miserable). Meanwhile, I moved on, dated someone else, also had a surprise pregnancy, and tried to make it work with him. Neither relationship worked out, obviously, and DH and I reunited last year. 
  
  We both agreed that we'd never leave each other's side again; he always regretted leaving me and over the years, I always missed him too. So we went ahead and moved back in together, got engaged, tied the knot, and now we're 3 months into a wonderful marriage and 10 weeks pregnant with our first child together! Some people think we're crazy, or at least they did when we first got engaged, but we just tell them that if we had gotten engaged back then, after over a year of dating, nobody would've batted an eye.
