@sugarpixxie2 DuckTales!

ETA- the theme song will now be stuck in my head all day :D

@Paturkey Great to see you're still in! :D Your timing was great so.... FX No we both have that song in our heads!

@sugarpixxie2 I loved those, too rescue rangers and ducktales! lol holy throwback. You have amazing timing, too and we are both testing next weekend, so FX and GL making it through the whole week without caving ;)

@pretzel2plus1 That sounds like a dream-date to me! lol We still have to swap around the futon we've been sleeping on with the bed in the guest/playroom... move the tv into there and make it an official TV/Play room and move the little dresser I got for diapers up where the tv is now. I, too, will be a happy woman when that all happens! *ETA

Month/Cycle: 17th temping / 2 ttc

CD/DPO: 23/7

Timing: -5, -4, -3, -2, +1, +2

Testing Plans: Saturday, Jan 16th. I have had a cycle or two that went longer than 29 days like, 30, but most are 27, 28, and that's what day the ticker gave me... Plus it's a Saturday, so it's a good morning to wake up to, (hopefully), happy news! The books for DH came in, and so did the mugs! But I totally wasn't expecting them so soon! So there was almost a serious mishap. They came in just as he was about to head out the door, so he's like, ugh, what are you ordering, what is this, and I'm all I dunnnooooo, but when he said it said "Sniffens Lane" and, "Mellow Monkey," I thought it must be the wetbags, (which are monkeyfoot). But of course I was confused because I didn't think she had shipped them yet, and the box didn't look like how I expected, so we are both opening them together, and they're these two little square boxes wrapped in bubble wrap, and he starts getting his bubble wrap off, and I'm like, "NO! Stop! I know what this is! You can't open this!" lol So I took them upstairs, and luckily he swears he really didn't see what it was, so it's extra-lucky they were wrapped up so crazy! So I told him it was a little surprise and whatever, we were allowed to have little surprises. Then he said, well he's not getting any little surprises for me, and asked me if there was a REASON he should be getting me any little surprises.... with his eyebrows all raised and silly. He is so cute. But of course I said I didn't know and it's too soon to say but we shall see.... That was a close call!

R/R/CS: I went back and tallied it up and it looks like of the 9ish cycles we've been married, really only one did we have good and PLENTY of timing, (this will be the second), four were like MAYBE one or two in but pretty much longshot timing-wise, and three were just no way the timing was going to work, because of travel and things. So Hopefully that is encouraging that when they refer to six months of well-timed intercourse, that would sort of be a stretch. The only way you COULD count up to six is if you included the longshots, but definitely not what I would call well-timed. We'll have to wait and see how this cycle pans out...

GTKY: I love what PP have mentioned! I watched a lot of the old Looney Tunes, Duck Tales was great - and Rescue Rangers - I forgot about that one! I loved if I could get up early enough for Care Bears cos it was on at 6AM, and The Smurfs. I watched a lot of PBS tho, like 321 Contact, Reading Rainbow, Sesame Street, Bill Nye

Month/Cycle: 7/7

CD/DPO: 32/13 or 16

Timing: -5, -4, -2, -1, 0 OR -3, 0

Testing Plans: Done, done, done.

R/R/CS: I am heartbroken. DH and I HIO every day during my FW based on CM until I got a temp rise, and then FF gave me solid CHs. Well, that really screwed us up because it looks like I O'd three days later than I thought and we pretty much missed our opportunity this cycle. I am so angry and upset. I guess, for me, CM has nothing to do with when I'm ovulating at all.

GTKY: stolen from yesterday's WTO: What was your favorite childhood cartoon? Gummy Bears, or Fraggle Rock...maybe Care Bears. Or My Little Pony (the original), Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake...yep. Typical early 90's child.

• @LizaKate1213 I'm sorry about your timing being not what you expected. As far as CM, it may be for you that you get your most fertile CM a few days before O so next cycle (which FX you won't need) maybe keep HIO a few days after your fertile CM. -3 and O are still legit opportunities though so I'm keeping my FX for you!
• @pretzel2plus1 & @AmMcc12 - thank you! Going to try to attach chart today

• Thanks @Paturkey. The worst part is (and I didn't mention it here yesterday because I knew it was a false), I got one of the classic "FRER curved handle false positives" yesterday. I didn't see the line until a couple of hours after the time frame but it was definitely there. Clear blue was definitely negative with FMU this morning though, as was an equate brand.

CD/DPO: 31/10? Used OPKs but not temping

Timing: -2, -1, O , +1

Testing Plans: Totally caved and tested on a cheapie, BFN. Going to wait until Tuesday or Thursday to test again.

R/R/CS: Definitely getting a new thermometer and returning the one I have. I've gotten the exact same temp for the last three mornings. I was worried this would happen based on the things I've read here, but I didn't think it would start crapping out 3 days in.

GTKY: I used to watch Garfield and Friends every morning before school! But The Simpsons are still my fave cartoon from childhood, and I still set my DVR for it every Sunday.

***CS Requested***

Month/Cycle: 5/5

CD/DPO: 30/15

Timing: -5, -3, O

Testing Plans: None

R/R/CS: Feeling pretty down and out at the moment to be truthful. My temp dropped significantly this morning, and I pretty much am expecting AF to arrive any time. Even though my other apps said that ovulation could be on CD 17, I was starting to get a bit hopeful since per FF I'd passed by my longest LP/projected start date. If you gals wouldn't mind taking a look at my chart, I'd appreciate your thoughts on whether I O'd on CD 15 or 17?

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5bfde8

GTKY: My Little Pony, Care Bears, and Fraggle Rock were definitely my favorites.

• @H4aPartyof5 I'd say it looks like CD15 to me. How long is your LP usually?
• @H4aPartyof5 I'm sorry you're feeling down. I'd think CD15 was correct due to Cm and OPK, but CD17 is definitely possible too, particularly just looking at temps. If you take out CM and OPK does FF move your CH?
• Thanks @FrancesGrace630 and @Paturkey.

The reason that I'm mainly concerned about it is because I want to be a bit more certain of my LP length. This is only my 4th month charting. Of the past three cycles, 2 have been 13 day LPs and one was a fluke (FF has an 8 day LP, other apps have longer at 10 or 11). So right now, I'm thinking that I have a 13 day LP, which would add a bit more weight to an argument for CD17 as the O date, but since there isn't that much data maybe not. My average cycle length is 27-28 days.

I took out all the CM data, and it didn't change anything, but when I added a positive on CD 16, it will change the O date to CD 17. The OPK on CD15 was the darkest positive I have gotten to date using the dollar store OPKs (the test line was actually darker than the control for once), but maybe if I had kept testing, I would have still gotten a positive on CD16 too...I wish I had gone to go get more OPKs at this point. :(

R/R/CS: I got for realsies cross hairs today! Woohoo! This is kinda fun. Of course it will be lame when I still end up with my BFN. @Mlight28 my gyn provider has suggested a SA and my husband is feeling very apprehensive about it too! Glad your place will allow the home sample. That's so much better than the alternative.

Testing Plans: Goal is 1/16, but 1/15 is starting to sound better. :D

R/R/CS: I've decided to stop looking for symptoms at this point. I feel (physically) really good so far this morning which isn't the same as the last couple of days. Wish I had a chart to stalk though lol. If I get a BFN this cycle, I'm going all out with digital OPKs and temping. I hope DH won't think I'm crazy, but to be fair he went from thinking any sex = BFP and in the past 2-3 cycles he's realized it's not that simple. This 4th one was our real first attempt at timing everything, and I still think there is room for improvement.

Also I forgot about Daria and CLONE HIGH!!!!!! But I didn't watch those till much later...

@superscarf I haven't tried OPK's yet, so I might try that too this cycle if need be... anything to take a little more of the guesswork out. ;)

@BerkeBaby Yess! I loved Bobby's World! lol That's one I almost forgot about, actually. GL with your weightloss goals. I feel the same way, I have been losing and gaining back the same almost 10 lbs since the wedding, and I had been down another 5-10 actually, too, so that is a healthy thing to focus on I think if/when AF arrives. My fertile window closes and then I basically start to eat all the things because I, "might be pregnant." Riiiiiiight.

CD/DPO: 41/15 (This is the never-ending cycle. :frowning:)

Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1

Testing Plans: Already tested today. FF says AF is due tomorrow. BFN. I'm just ready for AF to show her face so I can move on. Ugh...Where's the limbo board when you need it?

R/R/CS: I had a great day yesterday. I went to weigh in, certain that I had gained a few pounds. Down 3! Woohoo! I'm ready for AF to show up so that I can focus on my weight loss goal. I'm hoping that losing 10-15 pounds will help regulate my cycles. I thought I had been set at 36 days, but this cycle has proven to me that maybe my weight is keeping me from getting KTFU. Oh well...hopefully AF is on time tomorrow...

GTKY: stolen from yesterday's WTO: What was your favorite childhood cartoon? Duck Tales, Animaniacs, Rescue Rangers, Rugrats, and Bobby's World. Did anybody watch Bobby's World? I used to get ready for school and watch it right before I would walk to school in the morning, and then there was always an episode after school. LOVED IT!

R/R/CS: I had a pretty big temp drop today, still above the cover line, but a big drop. I usually have a 16 day lp so maybe the house was cold, I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.
On a Rave, the Steelers won last night. I turned off the game with 1:30 left because I was getting super stressed, only to wake up and found out they won. Kind of bummed I turned it off.

Testing Plans: Friday if af still isn't here. But let's be honest if people start posting bfps I might be tempted. I mean I almost bought a Powerball ticket last night because of the hype and now I really want to for Wednesday!

R/R/CS: Woke up in a really bad mood about life. Trying to remind myself it's just hormones and to get on with my day.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood cartoon?
The first cartoon I can remember running to the tv to watch whenever it was on is Inspector Gadget. But basically I watched any and everything growing up. My mom was really, uh, hands-off as a parent.

Re: DuckTales - I loved that one too and remember renting the movie where they look for a magic lamp over and over and over from the video store! There's a youtube channel that has today's kids react to stuff; they did a video on DuckTales (Whoo-oo!). Other ones I found fun were: 80s music, 90s cartoons, 90s music, 90s sitcoms

R/R/CS: literally felt nauseous the last two mornings, but at this point I think I am giving myself symptoms. Nothing else feels different. I am forcing myself to get things done today instead of laying around hoping. Going to get a bbt so I can start temping! Month/Cycle: 2/2 temping

CD/DPO: 21/8

***lurking from WTO***

@mkc3888 It might be a little too early to say, although what I would say is that your last temps since projected O - although they arent vastly higher than your pre O temps, the pattern of your temps does seem to have changed so it could be right. Your projected post O temp are a little less rocky.

Since you are stil geting fertile CM I would keep HIO just to be sure and then if your cross hairs moved you have covered all bases.

Edited as my words made no sense.

• @BusinessWife Yeeees I got the bear once. Ah I can't handle the mugs. I didn't even know this was a thing until I found the ones I bought, I think it is like the best thing ever to give a hubs, because they use it every day. I am etsy stalking for grandparent mugs to purchase after a BFP now.... I'm glad yours are perfect!!!
• @Paturkey, FX that AF stays away and temps remain high!
@BerkeBaby, Sorry your cycle doesn't want to end! Also, Bobby's World was awesome!

Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: 27/11

Timing: -4, -3, -2, +1

Testing Plans: Another BFN this morning. AF should be here tomorrow, so we'll see.

R/R/CS: My bestfriend had her second son this morning, so I went to see them, and then realized one of my other friend's, his wife, and two day old son were three rooms down from them. So I spent a solid two hours today cuddling the tiniest infants, and I think it made my uterus ache.

GTKY: Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Pokemon.. But the sad thing is I still watch more cartoons than anything, I type as I'm watching Archer. I'll never grow up.
