@LizaKate1213- are you 110% confident about the CM?? What happens if you take it out of FF? Does the O date change? I could easily see it being CD 19 as your temps are in the 97 range before CD 19 and then are all higher than that past CD 19. What day do you usually O?
R/R/CS: Nothing much. Today is the first day where I really feel like I'm in the TWW. I'm still unsure of my exact O date, but it has definitely passed by now. Here's to hoping I got the timing right and the next two weeks go by quickly.
GTKY: I'm a zookeeper and I get to work with tigers, leopards, lesser apes and some hoofstock (anoas and tapirs). It's pretty much my dream job. I would still be doing this if i started all over again, but I maybe would've done some internships in college so I could've gotten here faster.
Me 30 Him 30 Married August 2015 DS born 5/23/2018 TTC #2 July 2020
@khbear117 it definitely is! It has its moments like any jobs does, but for the most part it is very rewarding. Here's a baby leopard to brighten our Saturdays. Baby animals always cheer me up!
I don't have cross hairs yet but I'm calling it and transferring over to TWW. My temps have been going up for several days but my likely cover line is sucky bc of waking up worrying about temps and my first few days being with a regular thermometer waiting for my BBthermometer to arrive.
Month/cycle: 7/7
CD: 19
Timing: almost ED.
R/R/CS: this is my first month temping bc I didn't want to do it the previous 6 cycles. But after those cycles with BFN's I figured there was no harm in trying I'm hoping that next month I'll be better at temping. Or maybe I won't need to temp but at this point I'm not super hopeful. I guess I'll be pleasantly surprised if I don't have to temp next cycle.
GTKY: I am a physician. I practice anesthesiology. If I had to do it over again I would hope for a way to go through med school without loans but would end up with the same job (cause I love it). Then again, maybe I would re-do life as an independently wealthy social lite or lottery winner or something
@Amphibious22 whhhhaaaaattttttt? You are what I wanted to be when I grew up. I think that if I could start all over again I would have your job. Started out as a zoology major, actually. And that bebe leopard!? WANT. TO. SNUGGLE.
@MNturnsVA, my cycles have been getting progressively shorter. I had Mirena removed last August and went from 46 days down to 31 last cycle. So I don't have a consistent O day. Last cycle it was CD 16 or 17 based on a 13-14 day LP (i took 2 months off of temping for a mental break). Now I wish I had just temped straight through!
And yes I'm positive on the CM, I check internally. Buttt if I take out CM it does change to the 19th. Very weird!
@LizaKate1213- oh man that stinks.....I had debated stopping temping after we'd seen the 2nd RE (both RE's I saw said that there was no need to keep temping) and that they wanted me to just use the OPKS. So if we hadn't gotten the BFP this month I was toying with the idea of not temping anymore but at the same time I was against it too. I was really on the fence about what I was going to do in January if we had gotten AF. I totally understand why the RE's say just use the OPKS so you know when to expect O better and temping just confirms it, but for a situation like yours, I can totally see how temping would be useful too. Its stressful though for some people too and I know some people have had their sleep affected by it. Well I hope that the new year brings some more even cycles for you and a BFP sooner than later!!!
R/R/CS: FF tried to move my CH today and I was like NOPE. Just deleting the EWCM on the day after my original O changed it back. And that EWCM was questionable, too. So I'm sticking with a CD23 O date BECAUSE I CAN. I still firmly, aggressively believe that I am not getting a BFP this cycle, based on that completely reliable Feeling In My Gut, so whatevs. CS more than welcome if you're feeling it. Can't insert the image because the WYSIWYG editor hates my life, but here's the link.
GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job? I'm a high school English teacher, and I did start all over again to have my dream job! I was in publishing sales until I was 28, when I went back to school for a teaching license. I've been teaching for 3 years and I love teaching so much it's not even funny. I can't believe I conned people into paying me to hang out with hilarious teenagers all day.
@MNturnsVA It's good to see you I hope things are going well I didn't temp this month since we were traveling for 2 weeks, so I don't have much of a Chart to stalk.

@MNturnsVA I'm going to try to attach my chart, I've never done it from my phone lol the date FF gave me seems pretty accurate with my opks, temps, cm and cp, but who knows haha
Testing Plans: I'm hoping to hold off until Thursday, but I'm gonna be realistic and say I'll cave on Tuesday. I've had a good amount of cramping recently, but no AF yet.
R/R/CS: Nothing much really, except I didn't have time to stop and think about any clinical signs today because I was SLAMMED at work. Is there a full moon tonight that I didn't know about? It seems like everything came in on fire. Also my temp this morning was suspiciously the exact same as my temp yesterday morning. We'll see how it looks tomorrow, I may be getting a new thermometer.
GTKY: I'm a veterinarian and absolutely love it, though I admit I'm still in the honeymoon phase. Veterinary Medicine is technically my third career (previous careers in basic science research and pharmaceutical manufacturing), and even though I took the long way to get here, I'm happy that I have more life experience than most of my classmates and that I have such a diverse background. If I could do it all over again, I would. Especially since career #1 allowed me to meet DH, and career #2 allowed me to apply to vet school!
@LizaKate1213 Sorry about the BFN :( But I appreciate your saying that you have the same problem! Now I know I just won't bother trying to post from my phone. It's pretty annoying though because I can read and catch up on everyone's posts, but then I just can't respond to anyone! Gahh!
@MRSCORKER That's great that you're looking for a new teacher. Baltimore is great! I'm sure there's got to be some excellent teachers around. Have you checked NATS at all? All the way to NY is just too far to make it a regular thing. When I had my teacher in Manhattan, she was just a short subway ride away! Then I switched teachers and had to drive a ways into NJ so that was a pain, but I did it for a while. Now turns out that where we moved back to, he's right around the corner! Well not really but like maybe 15-20 min drive, so close! So it would be a shame not to get back to seeing him at least once a MONTH to check in would be better than zero, and yes, of course the LO's may be a powerful motivator to sing, sing Sing! <span>:D
As for practice rooms, my MiL was so sweet she had an extra random closet in the back of the house she gave me to set up when we were living out in Las Vegas at her place, so i could make myself at home. I carpeted it, had out my degrees and certificates, with the keyboard in there, and all my scores. It was great! Now I just use the livingroom. We have yet to wave a wand and turn my keyboard into an upright though... it's on the list ;)
@shaami1986 Sorry about your test - at least you know you're not alone! :/
@superscarf Hooray for working from home! But that too, is like, gahh, I have to make a point to be more productive this week, though, since I don't have a "boss" to be accountable to. It's tough. :/
@H@H4aPartyof5 Hope you had a nice lunch out, ... and maybe get a better night's sleep tonight. Oh man, DH is going back to school, and he barely had any credits to transfer from before, so that is going to be a bloody haul while working full-time, too. It's going to take several years for sure, and this term he's just taking 3 classes, but only one officially counts toward the Assoc, hopefully the other one will count once he transfers for the bachelor. Baby steps, but please wish him luck because I think we're going to need it just to find enough hours in the day! <span>:P
@FrancesGrace630 <strike>FW</strike> FX for those temps to stay up, up UP!! **Edit
@whiska Your work sounds so exciting! My mom is in medicine, too, she did her residency in Peds and then switched to Occ Med. Keep up the good work, because you already know, it is so worth it ;) You have so much going for you, I know it's hard not to see other preggos and just feel like, gahh, why not me? or whatever, but when I catch myself thinking like that, I have to make a point to bless them and wish them all the same good things that I would wish for myself, and keep it moving. It's easy to look at what others have, (even if its a bump), and wish you were in their shoes, but reality is you have no idea what problems they may have too, and most cases, I don't think I would want to trade off, KWIM? Just my two cents :P
@ReesaAnne16 Sorry about your test and all the wacky dreams to boot! :( </span></span><span>I was thinking about getting the kit too for next cycle if I don't get my BFP... I still have the same two drugstore tests burning a hole in my closet because I just got sick of getting BFNs, so I have been trying to be really patient and just waiting for AF... so far she hasn't really even been late at all so.. :P But that's what I'm afraid of, is having the wondfos will just make it a Bit. TOO EASY! ;)
@GreatGigInTheWomb I hope the Admins see this and are taking notes to get the phone ap fixed!! lol
@NamelessAria So sorry about your test :( After my bachelor, I started taking courses to get into nursing school, but I did the CNA/EKG/Phlebotomy thing first. And omg, of course I can see how the appeal of Nursing as a career might fade once you're in the thick of it. I know for me, I was like, I'm going to be in school again, for HOW LONG? And really, if I were going to go that route at all, it should have been Med school, which it wasn't. So I remember having this total freakout like this is not what I want to be doing! I had my music degree and then next thing you know a guy from my church had a charter school where he needed a music teacher, so I got the masters in ed instead, but you know, life is funny where it takes you. And I'm sure you're doing a lot of good, even though it probably feels kinda thankless a lot of the time. :P
@itsmehere1212 I'm so happy to hear you love teaching! I know what you mean about it being a bit of a drain though, too. I taught my first year at an urban high school/middle school, and then my second year was at a K-4. It was... not easy. Rewarding sure, but not near as much as I might have hoped. I'm not sure if I would go back to the classroom or not, but I might actually rather do K-4 than music if it were that kind of setting, otherwise I'd want to be the Choir/Music Director of a school with a real functioning music dept. Those who places felt like hacking my way through it because there was no curriculum and no real precedent so I'm not sure how much more I might have liked it if I had been able to keep at it...
@MNturnsVA CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! :D
@bestnameever I have been wanting to try it! I would have to find a place around here, or I was also thinking about actual ballet classes again. Which studio did you try?
@Paturky Travel is just murder on a chart, eh!? I can't even tell you how many cycles since the wedding DH was travelling during my FW too and I'm just like, Really??? Pfff hopefully your next cycle, life won't be so crazy. But, hey you never know! ;)
@AmMcc12 Happy Birthday, and Thanks! FX SO HARD!!! I want to see all the rest of us who aren't out yet over at the Sept BMB!!! Ahh, and so maybe it's an iphone/android thing :P figures! But your job sounds a little like a friend of mine who is a lawyer who, I guess represents kids in foster care or something? But she finds it incredibly rewarding.
@stephaniebuzzella Sound like you know what DH is up against when it comes to going back to school... what did you study? Did I miss that part of your post?
@courtney7784 I laugh at myself every time I see an, "implantation dip," and try to shake off my speshul snowflakes, and like you said, - keep the focus on the big picture, too ;) I have started learning more than I ever wanted to know about commercial insurance with the business these days! But I'm still fairly sure I don't completely understand our policies. :P It must take a lot to concentrate on all that research, I don't doubt it!
@khbear117 So happy to hear you're feeling so LIBERATED!!! Wheeee!!! :D
@Amphibious22 Amazing! I don't even know what an anoa is! lol
@rkstro2 Welcome to TWW! lol Hope your start into temping helps you find out lots of useful information, too
@peachykeen17 Hey doll! You're welcome to lurk anytime, you know apparently, this is where the arorable baby animals are at! ;)
@LINDSEYRVA Wow! Good for you tweaking your FF to tell it who tha f is BOSS! lol And cool that you are a teacher and love your job so much, I did alternate route, too, but I didn't stay in teaching since we moved across the country two years ago... and then back again. There was an English teacher I remember working with though, who later moved out to LA and is some kind of actor now? I just find that hilarious, but he was probably a lot like you, just loved hanging out with the teenagers all day, like he was living the life!
@soda23 Your job sounds so awesome too! I feel the same way about all my life experiences... the winding road brings us right to where we're mean to be! ;)
@shaami1986- hmmmm.....your chart looks pretty accurate with the temp shift.....FX for you and hugs. I so know how much this process just sucks. There's not a better way to say it. I highly recommend pre baby bucket list if you don't already have one or date nights. My adult coloring book is still getting used. I was going to try acupuncture too maybe. Be good to you!
What is up with all the bfp dreams? I had them the last two nights, too! (one was fairly nightmarey, too)
@BusinessWife my phone died that whenever my screen goes black, like I log out momentarily.
Here goes, my first TWW thread in a long time...
Month/Cycle: 4 / 3
CD/DPO: not positive, about 7
Timing: good...sex at least every other day for weeks (we are not ones for leaving it up to chance it human error, lol)
Testing Plans: bfn this morning, which pf course was to early to test anyway
R/R/CS: I hate not temping. I'm going back to temping next cycle. I hate not knowing what is going on. Ff is basically useless to me right now.
GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job?
I'm a teacher...My dream job would be to be a curriculum designer working by cutest or just publishing My own stuff. Beyond tat, though, I really want to be asahm. If My husband's salary rises past a certain point we have discussed, I'm quitting my job.
@MNturnsVA thanks for taking a look and you're right, it really does suck lol I hate thinking this way because I feel like I'm being crazy and reaching but humor me if you don't mind. If implantation can happen between 6dpo and 12dpo and hcg only doubles every few days, basic math tells me that it might not be high enough to detect on a hpt yet. Or I'm just becoming a crazy lady and should start talking to cats about my pet unicorn.
R/R/CS: Been super busy the last couple days visitng friends and my sister. Drove home today- 10 hours.
GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job? SAH between job. Dream job is still forensic researcher for anthropology.
Honorable mentions: Biggest IF support sister, sweetest bumpie, most genuine, LFAFer you'd most like to visit, great things come in small packages, pocket sized babe
R/R/CS: my busy season started this week, and it's kicking my butt.
GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job? I'm a certified public accountant. I'm a supervisor for a public accounting firm. I love it and couldn't imagine working in another industry.
Me: 29 & DH: 33 Married: May 2009 ttc #1 since October 2015 BFP: 3/8 - CP
@shaami1986- you are right. Pretty sure that's why it took me till 15 DPO to get a positive. I have about a 12 day LP & tested on 13 DPO & 14 DPO & both were negative.
Testing Plans: BFN 31st, 4th, 7th. Waiting until Thursday. I don't want to keep spending money on pee sticks.
R/R/CS: I've had spotting and hoping to get onto my next board soon, but its been four days without af. My cycle is usually much closer to 30 days so I'm just stressing myself out every 4 hours I go to the bathroom.
GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job? I'm working in non-profit development. Its a large challenge, and I love the organization, but I'm getting ready to move on. I'm in the second half of a certification program for financial planning, and will then look for work to get experience in advising clients before I can use my certification's title. Looking forward to the newness of it all.
Re: TWW Saturday
CD/DPO: 20/3
Timing: -2, -1, O, +2
Testing: waiting for that 14 DPO
R/R/CS: Nothing much. Today is the first day where I really feel like I'm in the TWW. I'm still unsure of my exact O date, but it has definitely passed by now. Here's to hoping I got the timing right and the next two weeks go by quickly.
GTKY: I'm a zookeeper and I get to work with tigers, leopards, lesser apes and some hoofstock (anoas and tapirs). It's pretty much my dream job. I would still be doing this if i started all over again, but I maybe would've done some internships in college so I could've gotten here faster.

Those who places felt like hacking my way through it because there was no curriculum and no real precedent so I'm not sure how much more I might have liked it if I had been able to keep at it...
@MNturnsVA CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! :D
I feel the same way about all my life experiences... the winding road brings us right to where we're mean to be! ;)

GTKY: What do you do for a living? What would you do if you could start all over and have your dream job? I'm a certified public accountant. I'm a supervisor for a public accounting firm. I love it and couldn't imagine working in another industry.
Married: May 2009
ttc #1 since October 2015
BFP: 3/8 - CP
CD/DPO: 40/21 or fewer
Timing: No way of knowing
