me 30; DH 35 TTC since May 2014. Aug 2014 BFP, EDD April 22, 2015. Low progesterone, started suppositories. Loss at 5w6d. Nov 19, 2015 BFP at 13 dpo, EDD July 29, 2016. MMC discovered 12/29 (9+4). Natural miscarriage 1/16 (12+1). AMH results 0.42, 1.2; FSH 12.1, AFC 10, dx DOR. RPL testing results normal. Nurse recommended progesterone suppositories in TWW. Clomid + trigger + TI cycle August 2016 - failed. Thin lining. Femara + trigger + TI cycle December 2016 - failed. Thin lining. Short LP (8 days). Acupuncture & Chinese herbs starting January 2017, lengthened LP to 10 days
2. TWW: 12DPO. This is my first actual cycle post MC and I'm not sure what to expect. My luteal phase was 12-13 days before my MC and then the "cycle" right after my MC was 16 days. Since this is 12DPO I'm assuming this isn't going to be a 12 day LP cycle. I'm hoping it isn't a 16 day LP cycle just because if I'm going to be out I'd rather go ahead and get it over it. So I guess I'll just watch my temps for a fall that would indicate AF arriving soon and wait it out. Hopefully my body normalizes soon and I can learn what my new normal is.
3. My resolution is to keep working toward making healthier choices. I suppose this resolution is less about change and more about continued progress. In the past year I've dramatically cleaned up my diet from eating way too much fast food and junk food (I'm looking at you chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, etc.). I've also successfully added a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, and home cooked meals. I was shocked to realize the "healthy" seasoned rice side from one of the restaurants DH and I frequented was 550 calories for about 1/2 cup. At least now that I'm cooking most of our meals I know how much butter, salt, oil and such goes into anything I make so I can make more informed food choices. So part of my resolution is to keep that up and resist the urge to fall back into bad habits. Also, I've been making it more of a priority to do some sort of exercise at least a couple of times a week. Even if it's just 30 minutes of Yoga or going for a walk. Anything is better than nothing. I haven't been doing as well on this front. So the other half of my "being healthy" resolution is to keep up the good work and also to do better. I'm still getting more physical activity than I was this time last year. But I'm hoping that by this time next year everything (diet, exercise, whatever else I'm forgetting) will be looking even better than it is now.
Me: 28 Husband: 31 TTC#1: January 2015- September 2016 Infertility, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Rainbow baby born June 6, 2017 ❤️
1: I'm new here. I started on TB with DS and kept pretty close with my A'15 BMB on FB. I'm 35 now and want to give LO a sibling close in age. He now has a 14 y/o brother and 19 y/o sister from MH.
We got the green light from OB in October but wanted to wait until after our vacay so our first month resulted in BFP on 12/23. I had been having symptoms that week and had a negative HPT on 12/21 and hcg of 3 on 12/22. Symptoms persisted so I kept testing. I wrapped a positive test and gave it to DH for Christmas. I had an extra digital so I tested on 12/27 to see if the hcg caused the "1-2 weeks" to change, only to have it say "not pregnant". I had DH get another test to make sure it wasn't a fluke and we got another negative. AF was expected on 12/28 and arrived on 12/29. I've moved from S'16.
2: My cycle was a little heavier and only a day longer but I had residual random bleeding/discharge so I really don't know where we are at. I don't temp and have only been using FF. We DTD around the times FF suggested but who knows how accurate those are. This month might just be practice.
3: my resolution is to get in better shape. I'm still holding onto about 15 pounds from last pregnancy but my level of dedication may falter depending on TTC success.
Hoping to gain some insight here. I've gained a few new titles since last time: AMA and TTCAL, this is all new to me.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO here. Starting to temp again this month which should be interesting. I'm currently bed-sharing with a coughing little person which has been challenging in terms of getting solid chunks of sleep for a good chart. Hopefully, my body is ready to behave itself this month. 3. GTKY: Any New Year's resolutions? Be more mindful! I have a bad tendency to fixate on the future and past mistakes. Especially with this whole TTC thing, worrying I waited to long to have kids, focused too much on school/work etc. makes me mental. I am working on using my mindful skills to focus on gratitude, and staying present in my life. My friend shared this quote with me when I was talking about my resolution, it helps keep me focused. Cohen said: 'We are in such a hurry to grow up, and then we long for our lost childhood. We make ourselves ill earning money, and then spend all our money on getting well, again. We think so much about the future that we neglect the present, and thus experience neither the present nor the future. We live as if we were never going to die, and die as if we had never lived.'
@BornReady I feel those things too. I think that part of the journey through loss is grappling with how loss can change your perspective without warning or permission and that this often involves fundamentally changed priorities and, necessarily, regret.
Thanks for sharing that quotation. It resonates with me.

@ANMcC I just love Dave Ramsay. Let me know what you think of him! Congrats on the hardest past - those damn credit cards.
@catiecatp So sorry for your loss. I know what you mean about time pressure. I turn 38 in a couple of weeks. It sure does intensity things.
