Insomnia

BTDT moms, when does it go away? I didn't have this with my last two, but this time I haven't slept in three weeks. Starting to go a little crazy working full time and having a 2yr old.

    i feel like 2nd tri gets better. but can't remember because my memory sucks without sleep.

    Hi I have no idea what BTDT means, but insomnia had been hounding me the past few weeks. I get up to pee several times a night and it takes forever if at all for me to go back to sleep. I'm usually up for an hour at least. This is my first pregnancy.

    I'v been going through insomnia the last week or so I just can't sleep. Im thinking of trying some bedtime tea to see if it will help

    With my first child it got better in second trimester, but then got worse again in third trimester. This time I have already seen a little improvement (8 weeks) over the past few weeks.

    I was thinking that in the middle of the night but I can't remember. I think my late second tri & third insomnia doesn't have a chance to keep you up because your already awake from being so uncomfortable

    Right there with you. I'm hoping it goes away in second tri. With my first I could sleep for days. This one I'm up at 2 or 3 and can't get back to sleep.

    I have no problem falling asleep it's staying asleep. I keep waking up around 4 in the morning and then I'm up for another hr and a half or so before I can fall back asleep. It's super frustrating from someone who hasn't had sleep issues before!!

    Ditto. I slept as much as I wanted with my first (14 years ago) but this time my sleep cycles are completely out of whack!

    I didn't have insomnia with my first, so this part is new to me. It just started up about 5 nights ago, so I'm hoping it's one of those symptoms that kind of comes and goes, but I doubt it. Ugh.

    I've been taking unisom and that solved my issues with insomnia.
