Flame free (or not so free) Friday confessions.
1. I have had a bare conifer sitting in my living room for over a week now. This is the longest my Christmas tree has ever stayed up.
My pediatrician suggested we stop putting lo down to bed all the way asleep, instead lay him down drowsy so he learns to fall asleep in bed. However, this would mean not rocking him as long, which frankly I like rocking and starring at him even after he has fallen asleep. I may enjoy it more than him, so much so it may be worth less sleep.

And @GoogleMD - I've tried putting Zeke down when he's just drowsy and he usually wakes right back up and I have to start the process again. At the very least I usually have to sit there patting or rubbing his back for a few minutes. I'd much rather take the cuddles.
On the plus side, I get to enjoy snuggles with Cora while she sleeps in my arms as I sit there waiting for my oldest to fall asleep!
My confession: I sometimes over exaggerate to dh that one or both of the girls were fussy or clingy because not much cleaning or laundry was accomplished. When really it was me that wanted to sit and snuggle with them!
