Nausea spike at 8 weeks?

Re: Nausea spike at 8 weeks?

  • I will be 8 weeks tomorrow and my nausea is gone today.. What the heck?! Can it decrease at 8 weeks instead of spike?

Every person and every pregnancy is different, so yes, it can be completely normal! It might just be a short reprieve and it may come back a couple days later.

This! I though I was finally feeling better on Monday, but Tuesday night was brutal and hasn't eased up since. This pregnancy is SO different from my first, I never even had nausea the first time!
  • I went from no nausea to throwing up 5 times in the last 12 hours. I just woke up an hour into sleeping to throw up again. I should mention that I'm 8 weeks 4 days. My husband is sick with the flu and I'm beginning to worry that I may have it too (despite us both getting the flu shot). Is this normal for pregnancy hormones to wake you up to vomit? Or should I be concerned it's something more serious?
  • I've had nausea wake me up at night, so for some, yes, I think it'd be within the scope of normal for you to wake up sick in the middle of the night. Hope you feel better soon!!

And, 9 weeks 4 days feels about like 8 weeks and a day did. Ugh.
