I don't remember this with my first two viable pregnancies. My shoulders, neck and upper back are aching messes. I hurt all over like the flu, every single day. Using organic, non toxic muscle rubs, but nothing is working.

Re: Hurt all over. All the time.
About a week and a half ago, I started feeling the static nerve pain and walking around like an old lady, about 8 weeks pregnant. This is my first, and I'm 29. It got better by itself after a few days, but was still lurking. I did try acupuncture/a chiropractor and had two visits this week, and while the verdict is still out on whether it's helped the morning sickness that led me there, I can say that today the back/hip pain and feeling like an old lady is much, much better. I've gotten consistent monthly massages for years, but had never considered a chiropractor... but when you're hurting, you consider it! So you might try a relaxing low-pressure massage, and if that doesn't do the trick, consider a chiropractor.
If you have underlying issues--for instance, I have a chiari malformation and know that my brain is 6 mm too big for my skull, which causes terrible headaches--you will want to be careful about a chiropractor, especially around your upper spine and neck because they won't be able to do x-rays on you, but if it's your lower back and hips hurting, a massage or light chiropractor session could help. I think it might be doing the trick for me.
