Spotting After Dr. Check

Anyone else had spotting after OB check? Went in yesterday for an apt and my OB went ahead and did a pap since its been a year this month. She did tell me to expect some spotting, which is all I have had. But it still worries me.

Just wondering if anyone else has had it. For whatever reason it would comfort me.

    Yep happened to me after my check this week. My doctor failed to warn me about it so it alarmed me at first but it has happened the last couple times I had a GYN appointment. I'm sure we're fine :smile:

    I didn't have to have a pap this time. But I did at 8 weeks during my last pregnancy. It caused a lot of bleeding immediately and I freaked out! She said it was normal. I spotted for maybe 24 hours and then it was over. Your cervix is extra sensitive during pregnancy.

    Y'all both rock, thank you. She forgot to prescribe a RX when I was there so I called to have them fill it tonight and she just so happened to be the Dr on call. I totally asked and she laughed and said its normal and to relax. I feel so much better. I definitely worry more than I should! We had a mc in August so I know I overreact.
