The boy name...

Titan? What do y'all think? We just found out it's a boy after having so many girl names picked out, now we don't have any for a boy. Middle name suggestions are great, along with other first name suggestions.. I'm not into names like Christopher, Robert, or Nathaniel. I want something different, but not too unique where it'd be like what the heck is that? Any who, any suggestions would be appreciated! i also like
Cannon
Rocco
Augustus (auggie)
Sebastian
but I don't know if I could use those or if these are all just names i should put on my guilty pleasures list. lol

    I much prefer Rocco, Augustus and Sebastian over Titan. To me Titan is a boss in a video game or d&d campaign. It's one of those "trying too hard" names.

    Rocco is one of my all time favorite names and would use in a heartbeat but H didn't like it with our surname which is very Italian, I used it for a dog instead though.   Cannon is really bad and I feel like Titan pushes to trying to hard to sound cool.  Augustus and Sebastian are also great choices.

    I don't dislike Titan. It reminds me of Roman, which is a name I love but stuck on my dog instead.

    I like Augustus a lot!

    Eta: I also really like Atlas, as suggested above.

    Rocco and Augustus are so cool! NAF of Titan. People might call him Tit as a nn!

    Titan is...not good. What if he turns out to be 140 lbs soaking wet and is into cat breeding or something?

    I'd look for a strong sounding name but not one with a connotation linked so obviously to physical stature.

    I don't like Titan, but from your alternates list I like Augustus, Rocco, and Sebastian in that order.

    Titan is right up there with Valor for me. Augustus and Sebastian are great! I would do Rocco if you have an Italian last name.

    @ElRuby haha well his dad is 6'1" and I'm 5'10" so hopefully he won't be short!! although I'm confused as to what difference that would make lol unless there's something I'm missing on the name Titan!? :)) somebody earlier mentioned a video game and I don't know the correlation to that either haha

    We have a Roman and I love LOVE his name. We always get compliments on how "cool"/strong a name it is, but people don't hear it often!

    Yes, Sebastian and Augustus are leaps and bounds better than Titan.

    I really like Sebastian. It was a favorite of mine, but doesn't sound good with out last name.

    Really dislike Titan. Trying too hard, and as a PP mentioned, if he's a small guy, it'll be awkward. I really like Sebastian though!

    Love Sebastian! Also wanted to say, it sounds like you're in my situation but reversed- Hubby and I discussed TONS of boys names, then found out we were having a girl! Totally unprepared lol

    I agree with this. Titan gets a "no" from me. Sebastian is great! It's my favorite from your list.

    Why not Titus?

    Titus has the same impact without as much of the weird designer baby name vibe. Titus was on our top 5 list until we found out we were having a girl. And I liked it so much, I considered it for a girl. Yes, ok, "Tight ass" is a possible play on the name but have you ever met kids before? If they want to make fun of your name, they'll find a way.

    Rocco, Augustus or Sebastian would be my vote.  Titan also makes me think of video games.

    Like Sebastian the most. Augustus reminds me of Augustus Gloop the fat German boy from WillyWonka and the song plays in my head automatically. NAF of the others either including Titus. So... Sebastian.
