Braxton Hicks Already?!

All. Day. Long.

They're just obnoxious. I've been drinking extra water and resting this evening. I had them a lot with DS, so I feel pretty confident that I'm recognizing them. Google sources say that they start as early as 6 weeks but usually aren't felt until the second trimester. I'm 10 weeks today.

Anyone else feeling Braxton Hicks contractions early in the game?

    Could they possibly be round ligament pain. It can feel like cramping and is from your uterus and ligaments stretching to accommodate your growing baby. This seems like a great question for your next prenatal appointment.

    I have never heard of this happening this early. I started getting them around 20 weeks with DS and I thought that was early... :neutral:

    My doctor said "period like cramping" was to be expected, as everything grows. She said if it got bad, to drink more water, that can help.

    I get a pulsing like feeling usually starting around 3 weeks (which makes me suspicious even those months I got my period anyway. I had them a ton with my son and felt them more when I laid down at night. I love the feeling and just started noticing it again recently at 5.5 weeks. I've never considered them Braxton hicks, just the uterus toning itself and the extra blood flow. But I could be feeling something completely different.
