Acupuncture for morning sickness?

Has anyone tried it, and if so, how did it go for you?

At 9 weeks and 2 days, everything from small frequent meals to diclegis to ginger root supplements is no longer working. So, acupuncture is next on my list before asking for Phenagran or Zofran...

Re: Acupuncture for morning sickness?

  • I just got back from acupuncture and am really pleasantly surprised with how good I feel. I'm only 7 weeks 2 days, but have been feeling queasy for almost 2 weeks now. I got back from my appointment and was hungry (which is amazing for me these days!) So I'm glad I gave it a try. I'll keep you posted with how long the relief lasts.

  • I haven't thought about it for morning sickness but I have been interested in it for quite some time. I really want to try if for migraines.
  • @nonniebird - Thanks! I was actually able to eat lunch after my morning appointment but have been feeling fairly cruddy all afternoon.  I'll give it 3-4 trips and see if it does anything worth continuing.

@christieb7 - Frequent massages help my chronic headaches.  Have you tried that for migraines?
